Nice penthouse, within walking distance of everything and in a quiet, rural setting. Possibility to rent adjoining buildings for large groups (maximum 40 people). Bielva is a small village within the Natural Reserve of Saja-Nansa, halfway between San Vicente Llanes. Located just 8 km from the coast, 12 San Vicente de la Barquera, 15 La Franca and Oyambre Natural Park, with some of the most beautiful beaches of Cantabria and Asturias, and 14 km from Panes, where access to the Eastern part of the Natural Park of the Picos de Europa (Potes, Arenas de Cabrales, Cares River Gorge, etc). Also in the valleys of Saja and Nansa, you'll find beautiful villages like Tudanca, Carmona, Barcena Mayor, etc., and most dramatically, in Bielva Cave Soplao recently discovered is, and (they say) the best eccentric stalactites in the world . There are other caves nearby.

Comfortable apartment in a great location

Great spot within easy reach of the spectacular mountains and also day trips to the nearby beaches. Apartment is very comfortable, and the village is friendly. Owner is very helpful.

Enclave increíble

Bielva está en una ubicación privilegiada. La casa muy bien, salvo por ser un segundo sin ascensor, algo a tener en cuenta sobre todo si vas con gente mayor. Por lo demás perfecta.

Precioso entorno

El apartamento responde al anuncio. La limpieza correcta. El equipamiento bastante justo, la lavadora con el cierre roto aunque funcionaba, el mensaje escaso y un tele pequeña y vieja. Un pueblo pequeñito y muy agradable. En general bien.

El apartamento muy limpio. en un pueblo con un entorno espectacular. Muchos sitios cerca para disfrutar, (cuevas de el soplao, playa de Oyambre, pueblos como Carmona y Barcena mayor. Aurea, que es quien te acoge, un encanto y muy cariñosa. No nos ha gustado que no tuviera calefacción ( la chimenea del salón no funcionaba, y el modo de calentar eran estufas de butano) Nos gusta pues para verano Muchas instrucciones del propietario, de cara a cómo limpiar la casa, el lavavajillas, etc...

Nice village!

Nice village! Family: 3 adults and 4 kids (12, 9, 7 and 4 years old). We stayed in Bielva one week in beginning of September. The village is small but nice. The people are very kind. The house is located in the center of village. It is completely rennovated and looks perfect. The apartment is on the top floor (under the roof). From there you can observe spectacular landscape on the mountains. The flat itself is also nice: there are three rooms: one bedroom for the couple, another - for kids and in the living room there are two transformable sofas that can be used as beds as well. The kitchen is not big but there you can find all the things you would expect from the kitchen: oven with 4 rings, dish washing machine, washing machine, etc. Small problem was simultaneous use of the dish washer and shower (then the boiler starts heating and together with dish washer heater it leads to the switching off the electricity in the flat as the fuse was relatively weak and triggered to the off-state even at small current). However this was the only problem we had and it did not disturb us a lot. To stay in Bielva you need a car. There were absolutely no problems with parking. For buying the food use this place N-634, 33A, 39594, Cantabria, Spanien located in 11 km from Bielva. There you can buy nearly everything including the fresh fish and other fresh seafood. The nearest beaches are in approx. 14 km from the house (20 min. of driving; in Pechon). However I recommend not to stay always on the same beach but observe other places with fantastic views. For example, drive to Playa de La Franca, or to small town Llanes. From the airport of Santander you will reach the house in approx. 55-60 min.

wonderful place

When I chose this House, I did it for the price; I wasn't sure what I would find. But when you get all doubts disappeared; a lovely place; quite quiet, with spectacular views of the mountain, next to the river Nansa, wild in many sections, but with the possibility of walked on a path of fishermen, and 10 minutes from the coast, and the El Soplao cave; It is a cathedral that you can not miss. Long ago that I would not have so happy holidays. Also on new year's Eve, the local people organized a big party.

Ideal para descansar y disfrutar la naturaleza

A 10 minutos de la costa. Cerca de la playa de San Vicente de la Barquera, ¡ enorme! y la playa de Oyambre, dentro del parque Natural y una de las mejores de España. En Bielva está la cueva del Soplao, con sus espectaculares techos de estalactitas excéntricas. Comer donde Cesar o en Casa Andrés (en Celucos) son experiencias que no olvidaré, pues ya no quedan sitios así; además levantarme por la mañana y ver Peña Sagra en el horizonte es algo que sigo añorando. Este acogedor ático es el lugar perfecto para olvidarse de que existe un día a día con estrés y con prisas. Los gallos nos despertaban por la mañana y el pueblo es hospitalario y tranquilo. El valle del Nansa y el Saja, Bárcena Mayor, Cabárceno, los Picos de Europa... todo a pocos minutos en coche. Tienes bosques de castaños, robles, hayas a un paso, donde nos hemos hartado de coger castañas y había bastantes setas y hongos; y casi tan espectacular como el Soplao; el Rio Nansa; el paseo habilitado por la orilla, llega casi hasta la costa por parejes sorprendentes y en absoluto frecuentados. Ya quedan pocos paraísos; pero... ¡ Volveré !
