Beautiful and comfortable, amazing view

This stay exceeded our expectations - the condo is actually even nicer than the pictures portray. Very comfortable stay with my husband and two daughters. Having a 2nd bedroom and a kitchen made the stay just relaxing and everything was in well kept condition/clean. Plenty of towels for bathrooms & beach, wheeled cart for beach (+chairs, etc.). The beach is gorgeous but be prepared that it is a very wide beach at Marco so it's a ~1/4 mile walk to the water (not an issue for our group). Fantastic stay.

Long walk

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was great with very nice views. The walk to the ocean was much much longer than the 300 ft as described in the rentals information. This should be corrected, we chose this location based on the distance to the water since we had my 76 year old mother with us. The walk was more like 2,000 ft to the water and was difficult for her to make. I would recommend this location only to people capable of walking that far in extreme heat.

Great option close to the beach!~

This was a great property for our family of 4! Separate bathrooms, and even had a hall door to close off from the main space and limit early morning kitchen noises from snoozing teens. You cannot beat the sunset from the patio. Breathtaking. All the beach gear is included in the closet plus plenty of beach towels. 4 chairs + umbrella. Would recommend to add a second umbrella, as having one for 4 chairs was a bit tight. They did have a beach cart, but we had already rented a beach wagon from a local vendor. Also rented a golf cart which was fun to tool around the island. The building is the furthest from the main beach, but the closest to Tigertail. Either way it's a bit of a walk. I timed myself walking from our property gate, to the ocean edge, and it was 6 minutes, and a little longer when pulling gear. All in all, would highly recommend, and would stay again!

Great place to be!

It’s easy to miss when everything just falls into place and you don’t have a single problem. I’ve stayed here several times and rarely submit a review. The condo always seems to have a little more than I expect, and we have never had the slightest need to talk to management. Location is great! We always come in after hours and leave before hours seamlessly. Will be back.

Lovely stay!

This condo was just wonderful. One of the (if not THE) cleanest rental properties I’ve ever stayed in, it was really just sparkling clean and fresh. There was no grime, no remnants of previous renters. Really and truly felt sterile. The condo has been updated since the photos were taken, and looks much more modern and beachy, really light and stylish. Comfy beds, nice linens, fully equipped kitchen (including a new Keurig!), and alllll the beach stuff you could need, including a cart, which comes in handy as it’s a bit of a walk to the water. Couches were lovely and clean, bathrooms were modern, it was all fantastic. Enormous king bed in one room, two twins in the second (small twins though; larger teens/adults might find them too small). We didn’t open the pullout couch. The complex itself is great — secure, easy parking, well-maintained. Laundry and trash on every floor. We didn’t use the pool (it was too crowded and we were still trying to keep distance given covid). Tons of good restaurants around too. Property company made everything super easy — everything was done via an app, and when we had questions, they responded to emails within the hour. We also arrived when the office was closed, and after-hours key pickup was super easy and straightforward. Only two things to note would be that if you have mobility issues, know that the water is a good 10-15 minute walk from the condo (albeit a lovely walk along the sand), and if you’re looking for a party atmosphere, this condo and Marco Island won’t be what you want. We were there with our two small kids (six and two) and LOVED that it was a quiet family vibe. But that might not be for everyone. Also, we were driving and had our own pack’n’play, but if you don’t bring your own, it’s a bit pricey to rent through the property company. This was a very last minute booking for us, as the sudden red tide in Clearwater changed our plans of going there, and I was a bit apprehensive since we normally stick to hotels and not VRBOs, but this was SUCH a great experience and stay. Truly a clean and comfortable condo, with beautiful views over the lagoon. Cannot recommend it enough — we’re already talking about another stay here in the future!

A wonderful stay. One thing not so good. When we walked in to one of the bedrooms, the closet door was broken. I called for repair Monday morning and was promised a repair that did not happen. All else was great.

We loved the location which allowed us plenty of beach walking and we took the cart with umbrellas and chairs to the beach every afternoon. I know others don't like the walking distance to the beach, but we count that as a plus. The lovely kitchen was great, as are the showers, and the bed is so comfortable. We hardly left as everything we needed was right there.

Another Week in Paradise

I always enjoy my time on the island and it seems the sunshine serves to recharge my batteries for the year ahead. I've stayed in various condos on the island but this is my second stay in this particular unit. It is a joy to stay in as the unit has many new updates in the kitchen and the bathrooms. The location is perfect for watching that lazy sun slide off the edge of the horizon each evening and I personally enjoy the north end of the island as it is quieter and there are fewer vacationers joining me at the water's edge. I couldn't be more pleased with this unit and plan to stay there again. The staff at Marco Island Vacation Properties, Inc. is the best! Should you choose to work with them to stay at this unit, it will provide a beautiful backdrop for your vacation memories!

Hated the location of property in proximity to beach since i go to places like Marco specifically for the beach . If a storm were to pop up,quickly you are screwed. Also, I tend to stay on beach all day so there is no,way to make a quick trip to use restrooms. Did not like laundry facilities as a shared concept. The description of condo makes it sound like washer & dryer are in the unit.
