Awesome view

This unit was very comfortable with an incredible view of the ocean. From our unit, we couldn't directly see sunset but a walk to the beach solved that issue. As others have mentioned, the walk to the ocean is quite a hike, especially with chairs, etc. We, two 70+ year olds, took about 15 min. to get to ocean and then walked along it searching for shells. Many excellent places to dine.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was dirty, floors sticky,furniture worn dirty and very bad musty odour.bed was old and very uncomfortable and mattress cover under sheets dirty, we purchased our own pillows and sheets, beach umbrellas were broken no small cooler or beach cart in unit. I have been vacationing for years at this condo and by far the worst unit I've seen in the past 20 years.

We have addressed the issues with our team and made the necessary corrections to the unit. Your feedback on the master bedroom mattress has been passed on to the property owner. However, please note that mattress preferences vary from person to person. On a positive note, the property owner has replaced the beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella. People that stay there are very friendly. Although the washer and dryers are outside the condo, it’s still convenient to use them. We loved the view and used the tables on the balcony to play games in the evening. The condo had been recently redone, and the bathrooms were great. Would stay again.

July 2023 Stay

All beds are very uncomfortable and so is the rest of the furniture. It's a very long walk to the beach and to carry all beach stuff you need a beach cart. Bring your own beach chairs and beach umbrellas. The ones here are broken. Building elevator got stuck for 30 minutes with a family inside. Front door didn't lock and they had to come fix it twice and again it doesn't lock !This is the very last tower of the island so it's far away from everything.

If you have small children, it’s a bit of a walk to beach. The pool was nice. The condo has everything you need. The only improvement would be the living room furniture. Great stay for price but NOT recommended for young families!

Great price, great stay. If you have young kids this is NOT the place for you. The pool attendant—Tracey is a forced to be reckoned with. She was horrible to kids in the pool, and really as a parent of older kids (teenagers) the way she was speaking to smaller kids it’s a good thing I wasn’t the parent. She was not a pleasant person all around. The way she spoke to people in general was horrible. Prime example of giving someone a little bit of power. The facility is geared more for older families or middle aged-up. I mean my 40 yr old husband wanted to jump in the pool but the rules say “no jumping” and Tracey will fine you for it…literally! There is a fine according to her as she announced it to the entire pool. Each day we went to the pool in the afternoon and she was always kicking kids/families out for tossing a ball, jumping in, or running around the pool. There was a lot of “No’s”but again you have to remember this is a private condo area vs resort area. But it served us well, walking distance to the beach, had everything we needed and everyone was friendly minus Tracey and a few of the people that live there permanently as you could tell “tourist” were not welcomed—they made it very clear, they were unhappy with so many condos being rented out. If you can ignore this, and don’t mind stiff rules like no night swimming, no drinks poolside even in non-breakage cup, no jumping in the pool, it’s perfect! After all, leave Tracey and others at the pool and go enjoy the beach! Check in was super smooth, so was check out!

The property was clean, but dated and had a very musty smell when you walk in. Overall I would not stay at this property again.

This unit was perfect for us had all the amenities. The location is near all the wonderful restaurants and shopping. The community is has a guard gate for security as well. The pool is heated and never seemed to be busy. The beach is always available as well, swimming, fishing and shelling or just relaxing.Again, wonderful experience!

Reviewer Comments: Excelent view , beautiful beach 🏖, Pool was very clean , apartment has all you need to cook , and to spend a quality time , the only problem was that you are not allowed to play music or in my case play dominoes, because they will call attention on you , and the other problem was that the towers were under repair and construction 🚧 and they make a very laugh noise all mornings . I was not advised of that before making my reservation. But it was a great week , and to be on quarantine I did like that peaceful place. Beach 🏖 is another thing, super clean , warm water, very white sand . We did enjoy our 8 nights there .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Building 4, Unit 704 was a very nice unit that was well equipped. Bathrooms had recently been redone. Marco Island Vacation Property staff were easy to deal with. Check in and out was seamless. The unit has very nice views from the lanai. This unit is located in the “bend” in the building so it is a unit which has the smallest lanai. We were there in April and the sun only came to the edge of the lanai. Things I would recommend to the owner would be room darkening curtains in the twin bed room as the light on the walkway never goes out and the Venetian blinds do not block the light; some light bulbs were in need of replacement in the twin bathroom; placemats would be nice; the sliding glass door in the living room was very difficult to open and close. This is basically a good solid unit to rent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Marco Island for 20 years now and we were well aware of the location of the property, this was why we selected it. Unfortunately we were 5 days without Wifi/TV and I felt this was an unacceptably long time to carry out a simple repair. We were not informed that the washer/dryer facilities on floor 7 were out of commission meaning we we had to go to floors 6 or 8. This was inconvenient to say the least. The level of construction repairs ongoing was rather high but I can appreciate that these buildings suffered a fair amount of hurricane damage. It would have been nice to have been informed about this.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit has a number of pluses. Great view, spacious and overall well-appointed unit with a nice pool. It is quiet and you will get your exercise walking to the beach but it is worth it. Quiet, and remote feeling, but good restaurants close by. However, essential items are in need of replacement. In 15+ VRBO stays, the master bed is the worst I have ever slept in. Excruciatingly uncomfortable thin hard mattress. The linens also need replacement. Old, used up. The pillows are either rock hard or worn out. Minimal paper products and soap. No spices in unit. The central air conditioner unit is in the middle of the unit, making it very noisy during the day and too loud to keep on at night. The beach chairs, although nicely supplied, also need replacing with something you can sit in....very cheap and uncomfortable. All are easy fixes other than the AC unit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but this unit could use some TLC.

Please note that our properties are equipped with a starter kit (toilet paper, paper towels, plastic trash liners, etc.) and most properties are equipped with consumables (spices, tinfoil, laundry detergent, dish soap, etc.). Unfortunately, in regards to the latter, they are not guaranteed, since other guests may not replenish what they use. We have shared the remaining issues with the property owner and look forward to working with you in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
