A 3 minute walk to the Beach in Marbesa

Just 3 minutes walk to the sea, this Individual Coastal Retreat is ideal for couples or families of four seeking a beach getaway. It has 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, has recently been refurbished and is peacefully tucked away in this very quiet sought after location just 40 minutes from Malaga Airport. In a quiet residential area. the villa is beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard with a spacious, bright living area. It has a secluded, pretty private walled garden. Air-conditioned and heated. All linen and towels provided including beach towels. Marbesa has a beautiful unspoilt beach which is popular with visitors but still remains uncrowded. Beach bars can be found along the beach for sunbathers to enjoy some food and drink whilst relaxing in the sun. Watersports in the form of jet skiing, surfing and sailing can be found nearby. Within Marbesa resort itself you will find plenty of cafe's bars and restaurants where you will find traditional Spanish cuisine such as seafood, tapas and tortillas, alongside International dishes. A selection of fantastic Spanish and International wines and beers can also be enjoyed. Nightlife in the resort is fairly quiet, the main premise of a night out in Marbesa is to take a walk along the quiet streets and stop for a bite to eat or something to drink. For those who wish to dance until dawn, nearby Marbella has many lively bars, discos and live entertainment. Pets are welcome and the garden is fully secured. The beach gives easy access to the local boardwalk which goes above the beach giving wonderful views along the way with stops for breakfast, or just a coffee if needed. The local bus to nearby towns along the coast is just a 10 minute walk from the villa so a car is not a necessity to enjoy everything on offer in this lovely area of the Costa del Sol.

Reisebericht Sept.2022

Das Ferienhaus war geräumig und von der Aufteilung der Zimmer wäre es perfekt gewesen. Auch der Garten mit Terrasse war bis auf die herabfallenden Datteln und Beeren die täglich gekehrt werden mussten sehr schön. Das Haus ansich benötigt unserer Meinung nach dringend eine Sanierung, vor allem die Bäder. Leider entsprechen die Bilder in der Beschreibung nicht mehr dem aktuellen Zustand des Hauses. Sehr schön war die Nähe zum Strand.

Location, Location, Location

The villa is really only 3 minutes from the beach with a variety of beachfront restaurants. Barbara was an excellent host, meeting us at the house and answering all of our questions in a timely manor. The house was well equipped for everything you’d need for the beach and for cooking. We would suggest that the house is a little dated and needs a little TLC such as new mattresses and pillows would be a great addition.

Una estancia estupenda pero con un incidente

La casa es estupenda, una ubicación inmejorable y muy agradable; pero durante nuestra estancia nos encontramos con el desagradable problema de mal funcionamiento de una de las persianas y el NO bloqueo de las ventanas. Tuvimos que poner el palo de una escoba y piedras haciendo de tope para que desde fuera no fuese posible abrir la ventana, ya que la persiana solo bajaba hasta la mitad. Barbara fue amable y vino a verlo e intento solucionarlo, pero para nosotros fue un problema de seguridad durante esos días.

Beautiful Beach House

Beautiful Beach House in good neighborhood. Nice little garden with no wind, so you can sit outside in t-shirt even in beginning of march as long as the sun is shining. Lovely decoration as shown in pictures. Very nice, helpful and uncomplicated communication with owner. Thank you Barbara!

A nice place

A cute little house, nicely decorated, with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday stay. I would like to mention particularly the friendliness and helpfulness of the landlord, Barbara. She arranged for additional towels and helped us when we had difficulties in operating the A/C heater. The only small negative is the state of the smaller bathroom which needs some upgrading, therefore only 4 instead of 5 stars in the overall rating. Nevertheless, a place to be recommended.

Paras paikka Jackrusselli Tialle...

Tia, 10v russeli on kaikessa ja kaikkialla meidan mukana. Kun suunnittelemme reissua, huomioimme vain paikat, minne Tia paasee mukaan. Sellaisia kohteita voisi olla enemman :). Tia tykkasi pihasta, meren rannalla lenkeista, uimisesta, leikkimisesta ja uusiin kavereihin tutustumisesta. Mina ja mieheni viihdyimme myos. Nautin paikan rauhallisuudesta ja hiljaisuudesta, olimme vahan kuin syrjassa ja turvassa. Autolla paasimme liikkeelle kaupoille ja eri retkikohteisiin. Barbara oli hyvin avulias, ystavallinen. Sahkoposti yhteys toimi hyvin! Ainoa asia, mika harmitti, oli kylpyhuoneiden huono kunto, varsinkin toinen olisi remontin tarpeessa.

Casa muy recomendable en Marbesa a 1 minuto andando de la playa

Ubicación estupenda, al lado de la playa y de restaurantes muy agradables. Una casa muy comoda, con una decoración esquisita. No falta nada y Barbara ha sido muy amable.

Ripped off and robbed

We experienced a lot of problems during our Holiday. We had a break in, unbelievable that this was possible, Doors could be opened easily, 1 lock was removed, for the other lock, the keys were hanging around the corner, looked like a set-up, the robbers must have known how to get in. We filed out a police report on the last day and asked for a check out of 1 hour later because of this. When we came back home in Holland we heard that they charged us extra money for this hour! Barbara said that this was in the conditions she mailed me, she didn't mentioned it on the phone... By the way, we had to wait for almost another hour before they came to check us out.. No wifi, we had to spend several hours on different days and a few calls on this to fix it. She didn't even thank me for solving it. We could use the wifi for only 2 days. They charged us also extra money for towels and cushions we should have badly stained. No way that this happened. Felt like we were robbed 2 times. In stead of being compensated we were charged extra. Let this be a warning!

Relaxing beach house close to Marbella

Barbara has arranged everything very nicely and house and garden make you feel home. Beaches are walking distance same as restaurants, but do not forget to visit beautiful Marbella city center and Port. Short trip also to Malaga and Gibraltar. Wifi is OK while not perfectly up to date, do not leave food lying around which may attract ants. Thanks Barbara for a nice stay.

Sehr schönes Strandhaus

Wir waren im September 10 Tage in diesem schönen Strandhaus . Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter , die direkte Strandnähe, die Ausstattung alles war für uns perfekt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Beautiful and quiet beach house

Very beautiful and quiet house whithin one minute walking distance to the beach. Barbara and her husband did their best to welcome us and make sur that everything was find. We will surely come back.

Very Clean & tidy Well equipped Excellent host Ideal spot to get away from it all but be 2mins stroll to the beach. Nearby restaurant200 highly recommended.

Immaculate accomodation

Lovely villa, very close to a rocky beach. Villa has everything you need for your stay. Lovely garden furniture for outside dining. Owner very accommodating and good response rate. Sandy beaches within a 5minute walk. A few restaurants within walking distance and supermarket nearby for essentials. Good bus links into nearby towns if you wish to explore surrounding areas.
