60th Birthday Celebrations

Nice traditional Villa with lovely outside space - Thomas the host was superb in communicating and helping, BBQ was great pool lovely, super basement area for games and to get out of the sun for a while - good location albeit up hill on the way back - I think a car is required we had one so was fine. The Villa was nice just a little tired in places and no air con in the living room areas - but we spent time outside so wasn't an issue - all in a lovely stay and i would recommend

FANTASTIC HOLIDAY

The property was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and the pool was well maintained and heated to the perfect temperature. There is a wealth of helpful information within the property on places to eat and visit & Thomas was very helpful with advising on the area and events ongoing at the time of our visit as well as assisting with any queries we had. Happy to recommend this property to anyone considering booking it.

Lovely villa

We had a great time, perfect villa for relaxing with family and friends. A little remote but we hired a minibus. Thank you Tom for a wonderful break.

Excellent family holiday

We’ve just got back from our stay. There was 7 of us. 4 adults and 3 children. Villa has everything you need and Tom the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. We loved the pool area and spent every day in the swimming pool. Would benefit from having a car while there as found places quite far to walk with little ones but we got taxi’s very easy via Uber and Bolt.

Wished we had stayed for longer

As soon as we arrived Thomas was there to greet us with a very warm welcome. He gave us all the information we required and more. The Villa was beyond our expectations catering for 6 adults. From the pool table, karaoke and table tennis there was fun to be had then of course there is the Swimming Pool which was just fantastic. We all had an amazing time. We would highly recommend for Adults and Families.

Great stay.

We absolutely loved the outdoor space, plenty of comfortable sunbeds and shade. Great pool. Slightly disappointed the upstairs bedroom access was a very narrow spiral staircase and would definitely have benefited from an en-suite. We also found the gas BBQ was very tired and cooked unevenly. However, Tom, the host was fabulous, very accomodating and always on hand for advice, information and any minor issues.

Lovely villa with fantastic pool

Just had a wonderful family holiday in this lovely villa. The pool is wonderful and the facilities very good with lots of extras you may not expect.The villa is a little out of the way up some fairy steep hills so a car might be a good idea but we coped without one. Tom was very easy to deal with and communication very good, he even rescued us one night when we managed to lock ourselves in the garden and couldn't get back in. Overall a great holiday and villa which we miss already.

Great Villa in a superb location

Family of 5 had a lovely week here in july 2019. The house is very spacious and luxurious. Well arconditioned and good sized bedrooms, and clean modern bathrooms. Excellent Wi Fi and a very entertaining games room/bar in the basement, makes this property stand out in a very positive way. The outside area is well maintained, with a good sized pool, nice garden furnitures and BBQ area. Tom (the owner) is a really nice guy, and a excellent host. If you are loooking for a premium holiday home in a superb location, look no further. We will definetely be back!

summer stay

we stayed in the villa as a family of 6, ages ranging from 10-71. the villa was spacious and well equipped. the basement games/music room was fantastic, we had lots of fun on karaoke and playing pool, the tennis table on the roof top was an added bonus. the pool was fantastic, always warm, the location was ok, a 12 minute walk to the nearest shop/bar/supermarket with a steep hill to walk back. we got a taxi in to Fuengerola a few times which was 70 euros for a round trip (6 seater) Tom advised to download the Bolt app which enabled us to book taxis that came within minutes. a few minor maintenance things, but a fantastic villa with a great host

Fantastic Family Vacation ….

This is a really nice traditional, but modern villa. It has has everything you need and if it’s not there,then Thomas the owner is more that helpful and will get it. The pool area is lovely with plenty of beds, seating area and space to relax, the heated pool is a bonus. The location is perfect, peaceful, with a few bars and restaurants a 15 minute walk away and a taxi ride to La Cala is only 5 minutes away. Thomas is a great host and is full of information that will help you with your stay. The basement entertainment and roof terrace are also a nice touch and you will never be bored if sun bathing is not your thing. The kitchen is well stocked and you will not want for anything. The bathrooms are modern and roomy, there is also a plentiful supply of white cotton bath towels and also beach towels. If needed, there is also two washing machines in the basement area. We travelled with a one & half year old and a three & half year old, and the villa felt safe. All in all a fantastic holiday in a lovely villa and would definitely return.

Great House

A really nice house, with an amazing pool area. Big kitchen with all there is needed for cooking. Two big living rooms, 4 bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms. Plenty of room, and pool space for 8 people. We stayed 5 people, and had 10 wonderful days, and a lot of time used at/in the pool. Beach is at walking distance (10 min), but it’s not a very attractive beach. You can get in the water, but if you want at better beach is it worth to drive 10 min to a nice sandy beach. Thomas was very easy to communicate with, and answered all questions very quickly – and thanks Thomas for the fast repair of the barbecue. We will definitely consider renting the house again, when we next time come to Malaga. And and and nearly forgot - the basement with pool, and karaoke/music. Was highly appreciated by the younger family members, who had a good time here before they went out in Fuengirola’s night life 😊

Family fun

We had a good family holiday in Villa Amapola where our grandson became a real water baby. The outdoor space was perfect. Tom was a great help as we didn’t hire a car and he responded to very minor issues promptly. We regret not hiring a car as felt it wasn’t safe to travel without appropriate car seats for baby especially so we were restricted on bad weather days. Unfortunately the upstairs bedroom with lovely views and the terrace are accessed by a narrow spiral staircase in the main family sitting room so we didn’t use it as we didn’t feel it was safe for nighttime use since no accessible toilet for ourselves or for family with baby or toddler. If the bedroom was used it wouldn’t be very private since open so noise in the family room would wake anyone. Sadly we didn’t make good use of the lovely big sitting room in the evenings as it didn’t have air conditioning but it was a lovely room during the day with the terrace window open. Wazza beach bar was a great find but the very busy main road was quite daunting if you cross in the wrong place. We hadn’t fully appreciated that “beachfront “ meant set back from such a busy road. Tom couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful but the villa location and access to upper level would put us off returning.

Geburtstagsfeier mit der Familie

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus von Thomas. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Thomas ist ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Er hat uns gute Tipps gegeben bezüglich Lokalitäten und Ausflüge.

Great Villa

Enjoyed our stay very much. Loads of amenities - loved the pool, enjoyed the table tennis, sang badly on the karaoke and won at pool. Children loved it and made up treasure hunts and challenges too. V close to beach for an afternoon dip and some castle building. The owner, Tom, is very helpful too, with a couple of trips to the supermarket. Thanks.

Wonderful! Loved it!

What can I say...I haven't been on holiday for many, many years (due to developing photosensitivity about 10 years ago) but I thought I would take the plunge and book for my partner, two kids, mum and in-laws to stay in Tom's villa....and I can't speak highly enough about the accommodation, location and Tom himself. Everything was spotless, Tom made sure we were settled and even took us to the supermarket and the pool was heaven (both for me in the early morning before the sun popped over the hedge and for my family, who played in the pool from morning until evening). The Frog restaurant is metres away and I highly recommend the steak if it's on the menu and it's only a short walk (although a little steep on the way back if you aren't too good on your feet) to the beach or the strip of local restaurants (all with decent food). My family got taxis for a few Euros to other locations nearby - and we have already planned the other trips we would do if we go again (we found the bus stop to Fuengirola on the last day)...but to be honest, we were very happy to spend most of the holiday around the pool and using the BBQ....and maybe having a few beers and wine of an evening :) Thanks for a fabulous holiday Tom!

Villa Amapola

The villa is exactly as described on VRBO. The heated swimming pool is great, everyone loved it as the water would have been too cold without the heating. There is plenty of room, great TVs with many English channels and Netflix etc. Beds were very comfortable. The villa was cleaned after a week and all the bed linen and towels changed. Tom is a great host, very helpful with suggestions of where to eat and places to visit. He was very quick to respond to any problems we had and remedy them promptly. Thoroughly recommended.

Great holiday

Tom was a great host and was always available with local information on what to do and where to go, even offering to come and show us how to cook Paella. The accommodation was brilliant as was the garden and pool. The property was clean, well presented and secure which was important because of the 4 young children. We had a really relaxing time playing with the kids in the pool and using the BBQ. There were several super markets, Resteraunts and Bars within walking distance. We would not hesitate to recommend Tom and his villa and would go again at the drop of a hat.

Tolle Haus mit allem drum und dran

Wir waren mit Freunden und unseren Kindern für knapp 3 Wochen in diesem schönen Haus und hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Das Haus ist ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Der Pool ist super und auch der Besitzer Tom hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen. Echt empfehlenswert und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
