Its always very gratifying to see families make such use of all the great facilities the village of Benahavis has to offer with the restaurants, park, walks and river swimming hole so close to the villa. You certainly made the most of the stunning weather, swimming in the pool and canyoning in the river and it's November...!! So glad the wetsuits and water shoes we left you were put to great use. Thank you for taking the time to post a review, it is much appreciated and lovely to hear you enjoyed the villa and warm swimming pool. It really does make a huge difference to your enjoyment, particularly out with the hot summer season. Indeed the first 100m from the villa to the top of the street requires some effort! Thereafter the remaining 630m is a lovely gentle incline with wide pathways and pretty trees, particularly when they are in flower. We would be delighted to welcome you all back, you were great guests to welcome and see enjoy the villa and village.

It’s always sad when a wonderful holiday comes to an end, we only wish we could help ease those “departure blues”! Most importantly, though, we’re glad you take away such happy memories and are already thinking about returning. We look forward to welcoming you back again one day. We’d just like to clarify one small point about pool cleaning. Regular pool maintenance is essential, especially with larger groups such as yours. Most pool cleaning personnel tend to turn up at other rental properties at inconvenient impromptu times throughout the day, disturbing guests and requiring pools to be vacated. Because our pool is also heated our guests are often enjoying the pool well into the night as well. With our guests' holiday enjoyment and privacy constantly utmost in our minds, we prefer, where possible, for this not to be the case, so we embark on an early morning clean, so that the pool is ready before most guests are awake or outside. Therefore this is the most non-invasive time. We do this, so that other than welcoming guests at the beginning of the holiday, and farewells at the end, we leave our guests in privacy. Of course, we’re always just a message away to help with any questions, guidance, recommendations or local tips. Thank you again for your lovely review.
