Herrliche Woche mit Freunden

Wir hatten mit acht Erwachsenen und zehn Kindern zwischen zwei und zehn Jahren eine herrliche Woche in La Sciolta. Das Haus und die Außenanlagen sind sauber, stilvoll und großzügig angelegt. Der Kontakt mit Christiano und Gabriella war super. Absolute Empfehlung!

Trip of a lifetime with our extended family

I can't say enough great things about this house and it's host. The house comfortably accommodated our family of 16 (three generations of us!). The location is perfect. There are incredible restaurants super-close. And best of all, our amazing host Gabriella helped us plan everything every step of the way. Outstanding!!

Wonderful stay in Gambassi Terme

We had such a lovely stay in Gambassi Terme, conveniently located about an hour's drive away from Florence. This villa was a perfect size for our group of 12, with plenty of room to spare, and it had great amenities including a pool, fire pit, and ample outdoor space. Gabriella was a wonderful host and was so helpful during the planning for our stay, offering different ideas for excursions/experiences, including a cooking class at the villa, a private dining experience, and a wine tasting at a nearby family vineyard. We also had great lines of communication while we were staying at the villa. I couldn't recommend this villa enough for large groups, particularly for friends and family gatherings. I would definitely be happy to stay here again for a trip to Tuscany.

3 Generation birthday get away

Everything about the trip was fantastic!! All of Gabriella’s recommendations were perfect! A must do is the Tamburini wine tasting, a family experience. Several restaurants were all 4.6-5 stars. Florence Siena San Gimigagno were all awesome Can’t wait to come back soon

Beautiful Tuscan villa for families and friends

What a wonderful house for families and friends to explore Tuscany (with eg Florence, San Gimignano and Volterra at easy driving distance) and to enjoy la dolce vita together! La Sciolta offers a lot of space in authentic Tuscan style with long tables and a kitchen (indoors and outdoors; there is even a real pizza oven) that invites you to enjoy long dinners together. The swimming pool overlooks the hills and olive trees and there is a lovely garden with a campfire place. All that combined with the warm welcome and kindness of our host, Gabriella, makes sure that we will come back!

Our Birthday Celebration in Tuscany!

I searched for a magical storybook property to take me and my family a step back into time and get lost in the lushness of the Tuscan landscape! This property was so much more than what the pictures on line showed! Bonus of a third pool on the property . Fantastic !! The family has a boutique farm that makes fantastic olive oil and delicious wine with the grapes and olives growing on the property. The location was in the heart of the region making it a short ride to many must see towns, Florence, sienna, chianti touring. We also walked one night to a local restaurant It was absolutely a beautiful experience in combination with having the most gracious and warm hosts on the property which we all loved that they were close by, Gabriella, Christiano and their son Allesandro who were there to answer our every question along with having arranged a complete week of activities including a pasta lesson on site! Gabriella brought us fresh bread and croissants to start our day —-We were sad to leave and will absolutely come back and stay again on our next trip.

Wonderful, peaceful setting. Perfect large family location

We and our extended family stayed at La Sciolta for two weeks. The setting is incredibly peaceful and we relaxed from the moment we arrived. The house is fabulously traditional and well equipped, and provided more than enough space for us to be together and yet have privacy when required. Gabriella and Christiano are excellent hosts and provided us with assistance and guidance throughout our stay. I have no doubt that if our families ever gather in the same numbers again in Tuscany, we would not hesitate to return to this beautiful house.

A perfect place for a large group holiday

Eleven of us had a wonderful stay in this beautiful old house of character. The owners were exceptionally helpful giving advice on nearby places to visit and getting the bread every morning. The house is very well set up for large groups with plenty of space, all very clean and excellent facilities for relaxation. Lots of interesting paces within 30 minutes drive from the house and easy to reach Florence by train too.

wunderbare Woche !!

wir haben eine wunderbare Woche hier verbringen und in dieser Zeit haben wir nicht nur den Wein, das Essen uns die tolle Landschaft lieb gewonnen, sondern auch die wünderschöne Villa und die Leute, die dafür gesorgt haben das es uns an nichts fehlt. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub ;)

a wonderful holiday

the villa and surrounding area is just beautiful. we visited many of the villages, we particulary liked Florence + San Gimignano. We also visited the local farm for wine tasting and the restaurants which were very reasonable and enjoyable. we will definitely come back again. all our love

You can take day trips to these famous destinations and enjoy this serene home-like villa when you are back from the cities. You can explore the cultural and historic roots of Tuscany and visit these nearby towns of Certaldo, Castelfiorentino, and Volterra as well.

The ideal place where groups, families and friends can stay together, make experiences, enjoy the surroundings tuscan glories and the genuine local food and products.
