My Mum and I had such a delightful time at Judy's sweet long cottage. Judy made contact prior to our visit to give clear instructions for arrival, upon which the cottage was even lovelier than the photos. Judy had kindly left us milk, bread, butter and eggs, had laid the log burner and the heating was on so the cottage was already cosy. Shortly after we arrived, Judy came to check in on us and showed us how things worked; Judy was really friendly and approachable and eager to ensure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the cottage was well heated to suit all preferences with adjustable central heating plus the log burner, and extra portable electric radiators and electric blankets on the beds. I have no hesitation recommending the cottage and would consider visiting again. Thank you Judy!

Stayed for a weekend at the end of May 2026 and it couldn't have been nicer.  Complete peace and tranquility. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, set in the grounds of a farmhouse estate. It's spotlessly clean and thoughtfully decorated to a very high standard. Our host Judy and her son were warm and friendly and made us feel at home. Location is private but still close enough to several lovely pubs etc.  Highly recommended - we'd love to come back!

Judy and John were excellent hosts, they took very good care of all our needs. They made our Labradoodle Arthur very welcome and he loved having his own paddock to run around in!!A great place to relax and enjoy the rural countryside.

A relaxing country break

We had a lovely couple of days in the cottage over New Year – the area's very pretty, local pubs are great and the cottage is warm, comfy and cosy. The enclosed paddock is great if you're visiting with a dog – our pup loved racing around and exploring off the lead. Recommended!

Fantastic, peaceful, very restful

This is a lovely cottage a long way from the sound of traffic. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and our hosts made sure we were well topped up with logs for the stove. There is a large fenced field for dogs, our two loved it. Overall highly recommended, idyllic comes to mind.

Well! We had the best time at Judy's place. We could have stayed much longer! The cottage is so beautiful and cosy. Perfectly clean and the bedding was so luxurious! The grounds are so peaceful and lovely. We had everything we needed and more (thank you so much for the provisios!). The Cholmondeley Arms was an amazing pub - amazing food and great service. As was the Pheasant Pub. And we had some really lovely walks nearby. Judy was the perfect host, making sure everything was nice for us. We'll be back for sure Oh and the dogs didn't want to leave either! Thank you so much
