フランスのAlpe d’Huezに近い。 La Sourceシャレーは、Michael Baldwin（スキー愛好家、登山家、サイクリスト、ホテル経営者）によって所有および管理されています。 シャレーは、220年前の伝統的なオイザンストーンと木造のシャレーを南に向けたもので、周辺地域のパノラマの景色を一望できます。 非常に高い水準に改装され、建物の魅力と特徴を保ちながら近代的な設備を作り出しています。 2009年に新しいエクステンションが完成し、イタリアのシャワールーム付きのモダンでスタイリスト的なベッドルームがさらに2室あります。 1階のエクステンション内にはモダンなプロのキッチンと広い収納エリアがあります。 屋外スパのある南向きの広いデッキエリアは、日光浴、アルフレスコの食事、一般的な景色を眺めるためのシャレーの内部を引き立てます。 シャレーの近くにはたくさんの駐車場があり、無料の村のナベットバスで300m先のスキーリフトにアクセスできます。 夏の間は、La Sourceは、Alpe d'Huezまでのトゥールドフランスルートを含む、すべての有名な峠に近接しています。 私達はたくさんの用具が付いている安全な大きい周期の小屋を持っていて周期維持のために立つ。

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de Noël dans le chalet de la Source qui avait été décoré d'un très beau sapin de Noël pour l'occasion.Mr Baldwin est un hôte très accueillant et attentionné, a l'écoute des besoins et disponible pour toute question durant le séjour.Le chalet est très confortable et très bien équipée nous étions 16 participants à ce séjour et tout le monde avait son espace personnel. L'espace salon, salle à manger et très bien aménagé et nous a permis de passer d'excellentes soirée tous ensemble.Je recommande ce chalet

Belles vacances de Noël en famille

Chalet très confortable et parfaitement adapté pour les grands groupes, beaucoup d’espaces différents, cuisine bien équipée et tout ce qu’il faut pour de grandes tablées. Nous avons bien profité de la terrasse ensoleillée avec une belle vue sans vis à vis. Très bon accueil de Michael.

La situation du chalet, son confort, l'ambiance cosy, tout était réuni pour passer les fêtes de Noël dans les meilleures conditions. Nous sommes ravis ! Merci au très sympathique propriétaire.

Super séjour

Séjour très agréable dans un très beau chalet, chaleureux et convivial. Idéal pour des grands groupes (nous étions 18). Michael, notre hôte, nous a merveilleusement accueilli. Petit point d'attention tout de même : le chalet est à une dizaine de minutes des pistes de ski, rien d'insurmontable tout de même. Il y a une navette (pour 8 personnes).

Superbe chalet dans une ravissante station familiale, reliée au vaste domaine de l'Alpe d'Huez

Superbe chalet, très spacieux. L'espace de vie est chaleureux, donnant sur une terrasse à la vue époustouflante. Cuisine bien équipée, grande buanderie. Chambres à la literie très confortable et nombreuses salles d'eau et de bain. Notre groupe familial a particulièrement apprécié la station-village de Villard-Reculas, très calme et truffée de charme, beaucoup d'itinéraires de balades et d'espaces de jeu pour les plus petits. Pour les plus grands, accès aux pistes à pied et liaison très rapide au vaste domaine de l'Alpe d'Huez. Michaël est un hôte très disponible, accueil sans faute. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir!

Une Famille à la montagne

Trois générations aiment se retrouver chaque année dans un même lieu choisi ensemble. La montagne l'hiver avec ses activités de grand air et les longues soirées de jeux de discussions et détentes. La mer pour l'été dans le même esprit. Le choix de Villard-reculas a été parfait, avec ce grand chalet chez Michael, nous avons pu tous vivre d'excellents moments de ski pour grands et petits et de découvertes de ce très joli village accueillant. Michael a emménagé ce beau chalet de manière telle que nous avons pu y vivre facilement et très agréablement à 20 personnes. L'emplacement est idéal avec une vue magnifique et un calme très apprécié. Bravo

Vacances de Noël en famille au top

Un chalet idéal pour des fêtes de Noël en famille. Chacun avait son espace, dont 4 jeunes adultes qui avaient adopté l’appartement du haut. Nombre de salles de bains hyper appréciable quand on est 18 ! Et ne parlons pas du sauna après le ski, un délice. Super cuisine pro aussi très appréciable avec tout le matériel imaginable (dont Super robot pour la pâtisserie), vaisselle très généreuse... La pièce à vivre est très bien meublée, chaleureuse et spacieuse, Michael avait même pensé au sapin ! Le village est vraiment charmant, loin du trafic et de l’agitation d’une grande station, mais les pistes Seulement à 5 minutes à pied pour rejoindre L’Alpe d’Huez. Michael est Un hôte disponible et hyper accueillant. On ne pouvait pas rêver mieux pour un Noël en famille ! Encore merci !

A magic place

We spent a week at LaSource and absolutely loved it.A beautiful and very comfortable old chalet with magnificent views over the mountains, right in the middle of a small and authentic village linked to the ski domain of Alpe dHuez without the hussle and bustle of a big resort. Michael's hospitality is great, he is also an amazing cook.He made us feel at home right away.Highly recommended

Very homely!

We stayed at the La Source over Christmas - a family group of 13 adults + a baby. It was absolutely perfect! The living room space is super cosy and has direct access to the huge terasse with an astonishing view over the valley. The rooms are nice and tidy - some with access to own bathroom, others share bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen; we decided to cook everything ourselves, but I am sure Michael can serve some nice food as well, if that option is chosen. Michael is the perfect host - very friendly and helped us with ski-rentals, driving us around etc. We can highly recommend the place! ...only thing is, we hope that not too many hear about it ;-) We will return sometime!

Perfect location for biking tour

Staying 13 adults at Michaels wonderfull chalet for biking Alpe d'Huez was absolutly perfect - the chalet is huge, charming, wonderful atmosphere, best mountain view ever seen and you have all the biking routes at the front door. Michael was a perfect host both before and during our stay - sending all relevant informations, welcoming us and serving SO good local french/english menues. For a large family or a group of 10-14 friends I highly recommend the charlet. Peter Stougaard, Copenhagen September 2017

Michael Baldwin - ski enthusiast, mountaineer, cyclist and hotelier.
Settled at La Source in Villard Reculas after a career in London in the hospitality industry. Decided in 1998 to combine my professional expertise with my interests in mountains activities - in particular mountains sports: skiing, snow-shoeing, ski rando, hiking, Via ferrata, VTT, road cycling. Have not regretted the decision and enjoy hosting guests in the winter months around the Alpe d'Huez ski domaine, and in the summer pointing guests in the right direction for cycling and walking.

La Source chalet has possibly the best alpine view in Villard Reculas! Spacious south facing decking with outdoor spa with uninterrupted views across the valley and peaks beyond. A small picturesque Alpine village, yet linked efficiently to the large Alpe d'Huez ski area

During the summer months the outside spacious decking is ideal for relaxing and entertaining, with plenty of sun loungers, deck chairs and BBQ. a BBQ is available for guests use as well as the inviting hot tub

A bike work shop has recently been constructed to offer a safe, secure and equipped area for those running cycle repairs!
