A short walk down the palm lined Marina front takes you towards the historic Markets and the centre of the fishing town of Olhão. The hustle & bustle of the old town with its many cafés, bars and restaurants, local fishermen taking out brightly painted traditional fishing boats, Olhão always has something for you to see, with many shaded seating areas for you to stop and enjoy the view and soak up the atmosphere.

Lovely apartment

We’re never disappointed by staying in this location. The apartment has great views from the balcony. It was well equipped, especially the kitchen. Small issues with the sinks in the en-suite and bathroom. En suite plug is seized up.and bathroom needs cleaning out. We appreciated the mid stay clean but the beds were re.made with quilt cover as over sheets which were not big enough.

Hard to find

Great and beautiful apartment! Clean and fully equipped! Nothing bad to say. Host and Property Manager very responsive. We had a difficult time finding the place with the instructions given. The property manager guided us by phone. Would recommend to friends.

Great stay, great location, lovely apartment

The host Fraser was great, good communication and quick response to queries. Location is fabulous, apartment is lovely, everything on hand for a great stay, we would definatley stay again and would 100% reccomend to others. Many Thanks.

Nah und doch fern genug dem quirligen Zentrum

Tolle Aussicht aus dem 4. Stock auf das Meer/die Salzbecken. Gastgeber top, bei kleinen Problemen schnell und hilfreich. Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. Pool auf dem Dach mit noch besserem Rundum-Blick. (Nur) Bei geöffneten Fenstern die Zugangsstraße zur Stadt gut hörbar, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Olhao ist eben eine lebendige Stadt, trotzdem irgendwie gelassen-gemütlich. Wohnung, Gastgeber und Stadt zu empfehlen.

Nossa estadia de 10 dias neste apartamento foi muito boa. O imóvel é novo, bem equipado e confortável. Receber e entregar o imóvel foi tranquilo, ao alugar recebemos as instruções para a comunicação com quem ia nos receber. Gostamos também da possibilidade de fazer um lanche ou jantar em pizzaria e bares que ficam nas lojas dos prédios,sem a necessidade de pegar carro para a orla de Olhão, onde ficam os restaurantes,etc.

Fantastic Apartment

We stayed at this apartment for a month over Christmas and New year.We were met by a very efficient managment team member (although flight delayed by 2 hrs) who took her time to show us how everything worked and left us with a contact number if needed. A few bits there to help us get started which was great (washing up liquid,washing powder etc).The apartment was everything and more .Very clean ,quiet location ,stunning sunset views from living room widow,electric blackout blinds ,two bathrooms ,fully fitted kitchen with everything you could need (cooked xmas dinner).Sun loungers on the roof along with swimming pool and stunning views. WIFI was fast ,freeview tv with english channels.Two supermarkets within walking distance.I have stayed in Olhao three times in the last two years and this for us was the best apartment yet .Book it I doubt you will be disappointed.Owner always quick to respond to any emails.Will be booking again

Very clean, tidy, spacious and quiet

The property was well kept, nice decor and spacious. Both bedrooms a generous size and two good bathrooms, one with bath the other has a shower. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary tools, however, there were no pantry items. The living room is huge with flat screen tv and Internet was installed during our stay. The swimming pool is via the lift to top floor and, whilst it is not the biggest pool, it was adequate as we had the pool to ourselves all week. The views from the swimming pool area are amazing! The apartment is on the edge of the town which meant it is very quietly located. Olhao is a beautiful town with an abundance of restaurants to dine in, all serving "the most delicious fish" you will have tasted. You are surely spoilt for choice! The boat tours are well worth going on, you will learn about the history and culture of the area and get to see some beautiful sights. To summarise, this is truly "a home from home" experience, very relaxing and worth the effort as it is only 30 minutes from Faro airport. Enjoy!
