Beautiful villa, stunning views. The villa is well appointed and was spotlessly clean, with fully functioning air con. Lovely swimming pool which was regularly maintained. The villa is located in a peaceful position, but close enough to be able to visit a number of excellent restaurants and attractions in the surrounding area. There is a very good selection of supermarkets close by. Excellent communication from the host - all arrangements made by the host ie transfers and car hire, were brilliant. The property manager was also very helpful.

We been 5 adult family, stayed at villa for 2 weeks. The villa was nice and enough for 6 people. It wasn't easy to find the villa, also for taxis. Villa is located in peaceful hill side location and nice cool wind most the day and sleeping night without air-condition. Next day lovely jan visited to ensure everything was in order. She was available for anything you need to sort it out. Car hire is essential, not supermarkets nearby. Mr Hudson the villa owner he arranged all taxis transfers and car hire for us and no issues. He always responded any email and texts quickly. Pool was great and always clean (twice a week) .we loved the quiet and air waving, especially afternoon sitting by the bbq table. Very thanks to jan and mr Hudson for helping us to have nice holiday. Definitely we will come back again.

The villa was nice, however it wasnt the easiest to get to as the owners car is parked in the drive which makes you think the villa is occupied. The pool was smaller than I expected however still of decent size.It is in a quiet residential area so wouldnt recommend for children as the neighbours complained to the owners about the noise that our children were making during the day. The villa does not have alot of privacy as the neighbours can hear and see you clearly. The overall stay would have been better if not for the complaint.

Peaceful location

Villa is located in peaceful hill side location but within short driving distance to several supermarkets and restaurants (car hire is essential). Villa is well equipped with lovely swimming pool. Michael was extremely helpful in arranging airport transfers and car hire for us. The property manager, Jan was very helpful with local recommendations and was very responsive in quickly resolving an issue with the aircon which was greatly appreciated.

Gorgeous villa in a great location with plenty of room for 5 adults Everything we needed was available at the property and the lovely Jan visited to ensure everything was in order and answer any questions. A huge selection of supermarkets and restaurants etc within a short drive and many beaches, sandy or rocky, depending on preference but worth snorkeling in the rocky beaches, loads to see. From the villa, few minutes drive to the foothills (or a brisk 40 minute walk - we timed it!) is the amazing ruined Sinai monastery and lovely walking trails in the hills. Further afield there's loads to explore, the abandoned city of Verosha now open to the public and well worth a trip. Airport transfers and car hire were fabulous with no hitches at all - a great service offered by Michael. Would definitely stay here again.

Great villa in a peaceful location

Villa has everything required for a peaceful, relaxing holiday which is what we were after. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The kitchen etc is very well equipped for 6 people (although only 4 of us). Although the villa has air conditioning throughout, the sea breeze through the open windows kept the rooms cool at night. The pool was a great size and a perfect temperature and is kept spotlessly clean. Plenty of places and 2 parasols to find shade if required, which was great. The owner (Michael) organised airport transfers and for a hire car to be dropped off and collected at the villa at the beginning and the end of the 2 weeks which all went seamlessly, which we appreciated. Jan the Property Manager was a great source of local information and on hand if required although we didn't have any need to call her until the day we were leaving to confirm the airport transfer. A hire car is an absolute must - although there is a good bus service on the main road into Kyrenia (We saw them constantly) , it's a fair walk from the main road to the villa. There are no shortages of supermarkets around a 10- 15min drive away with smaller shops in between. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend the villa for the peaceful location, the fact everything is organised for you and help a phone call away if required and the quality of the villa and the pool.

Beautiful Villa

We stayed for a week in August at Michael’s beautiful villa. The villa is just as the pictures, with fantastic views of both the mountains and the sea. It really has everything you need to make it a great stay. Rooms are a good size, the air conditioning works well and the bathrooms whilst basic are functional and clean. The pool is of a good size. A car is a must as the area is a little quiet but Michael sorted car hire for us at a competitive rate and it was delivered to the villa on our first morning. We found both Michael and his property manager Jan to be really helpful both before and whilst we were there, sorting transfers, car hire and being flexible with check out. Thank you both for helping making our stay so enjoyable.

A pleasant stay

This was a lovely Villa to rent, very clean and spacious. The location is good for nice views and in a fairly quiet area (although we did travel early July) The nearest shop was 30 mins walk away, so car hire is essential. The pool is great and JAN is a great help we would book this villa again

Loved it. The whole process was smoothly organised by the owner who is always very prompt to reply to any questions or concerns. The villa has the most outstanding views and if you are after peace and tranquility this is the place to come. A car is essential for being able to explore the local beaches and find good restaurants with a seafront location. The villa itself is spacious with a wonderful swimming pool and views of both the sea and mountains. Very sad our holiday had to end so quickly.

Lovely Holiday

This was our second stay at Abbey View Villa and again it was a wonderful holiday. Michael organised airport transfer and hire car which all went without a hitch, and is prompt with responding to any queries or changes. Jan the property manager is always on hand if needed. The villa has all the amenities you need for your time in the sun, including an excellent pool that is well maintained throughout your stay. Beautiful setting in a quiet location perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

Great old school Hoilday

Northern Cyprus is an absolutely fantastic family holiday, slightly more untouched by tourists than its southern counterpart it’s abit like stepping back to the holidays of old. Good food and drink for a very resonance price, friendly people and just enough old ruins and days out to be fun without boring the kids to death. The villa is lovely, really homely feel to it and very spacious for a family of 5. The pool and outside areas are good and get the sun all day, with a few adjustments to the positions of the sun beds. I’ve been booking villas now for 10 years and this one was one of our favourites. It’s location needs a car to get anywhere. We had some building works going on around us but nothing which ruined our stay. Two points (personal views) which I raise as a point to the owner Michael (who’s comms were exceptional). I didn’t like being charged on a meter for electricity, I’d rather you just add £50 onto the price of the villa rental and not worry about usage - it’s a holiday I get electricity bills at home. Also the welcome pack again just add £15 onto the villa rental and put a few little goodies in the fridge, milk, bread A BEER ! We arrived late and I had to drag my three boys round a supermarket at 12 o clock. Great villa, great location great hoilday Thankyou

Stay at Villa

Villa was lovely, spacious inside and rooms decent sizes. Seperate bathrooms is always appreciated! It’s set with amazing scenery of the mountain and the view of the sea. The other villas surrounding are equally lovely and very private. It’s a quiet area, some villas are still being built but not that you hear much work. You’ll hear tons of birds which is nice. The swimming pool was superb to swim in and gets the sun hitting from early morning. The evening is tranquil and still feeling the warmth of the sun and air. We drove from the south to north and found directions on sat nav worked perfectly. The sitting area is nice outside with the BBQ. The book of information set up is good to read and find local amenities and sightseeing. Jan was a great help on our first day and supported if we needed anything else. Communication and support from Michael was appreciated before we came and welcome package was welcomed after being delayed by 1.5hrs!

Overall wonderful stay!

We have just returned from the villa and we had a lovely 12 days in the sun! The villa was perfect. Michael was so helpful and Jan was brilliant at helping us out if we needed anything. Well worth a visit !!

We have recently returned from Michael’s lovely villa in Northern Cyprus. We’ve never been to the north side of Cyprus but it was both beautiful and very reasonable. Airport transfer was approx 1 hour 30 and around £50/£60 depending on the deal you’re able to secure. We were lucky enough to spend two weeks at the villa in August 2022. We are a family for 4 with a 2 and 5 year old. We booked approx 2.5 years ago and I can hand on heart say Michael has genuinely been the most helpful host I have come across. Michael has been so accommodating from start to finish, responsive, welcoming, extremely helpful and just an all round pleasure to deal with. He kindly allowed us to move our holiday on one year due to covid. He has also provided me with countless information and advice throughout our journey. The villa is extremely well Maintained and had everything we needed. The pool is excellent, a lovely temperature and well maintained twice a week by a local company. We also met the gardener during our visit. The outside area and bbq is also a lovely addition to the property. Our children loved exploring the villa and playing in the pool. The villa location is set back from the road in a small cul de sac with other similar style villas. We spoke with two neighbours who were also very friendly. The villa is approx 3 minute drive or a 30 minute walk to the main road where there is the park, this cafe does amazing pizzas and well worth a visit. We walked this twice as our car booking was for for 2 days after arrival. The green palace is around the corner and approx 5/10 minute walk from the villa. We eat here twice and it was lovely and very reasonable on both occasions. We hired a car for 11 days which gave us the flexibility to explore the island and try a number of different restaurants. We drove to silver beach which was approx 1.5 hour drive and located just outside Famagusta. It was an online recommendation and one we were pleased we made the effort to visit. The wild duck is a must and great for Kids. HanniMeller for a traditional Turkish breakfast is also well worth a visit. Another very unique aspect of our trip was having the pleasure of meeting Jan. Jan is Michael’s villa host and also an absolute pleasure to deal with. Jan was kindly proving me with advice and assistance over what’s app throughout our stay. Overall gem of a Holiday and would love to return one day.

An amazing holiday with memorable moments

It was really nice. The house is beautiful, well maintained and has a lovely pool. The air conditioners are also functioning well, which is necessary with this weather. The only downside for young adults holidaying here is that all the clubs are couples clubs and you occasionally have to be lucky to find someone, it's a bit remote so a hire car is a must. With a rental, there are more than enough cool trips possible to undertake. all in all we had a great holiday with nice experiences and a bonus point is that it is all very cheap on location. I’d definitely recommend it to others!

Home from home

Lovely spacious immaculate villa with a well maintained clean pool. The villa had everything required for a relaxing holiday and is in a very peaceful location. Any queries put to owner and property manager were answered straight away. Short drive to Suna’s Beachclub and great restaurants. We hired a car (Cyprus Pines), but used a local very reliable taxi (Kings, their number is in the house information) for nights out. Looking forward to my next trip to Northern Cyprus.

We had a very relaxing stay at Michael's villa; it was just as the pictures depicted it. Michael was very helpful in assisting us with our trip preparations, he arranged our airport transfers and car hire and advised where to check for the latest Covid regs. A much needed rejuvenating, relaxing and welcomed break in a family home from home.

After not being able to take a holiday for two years as a family, it was a big leap of faith to travel to North Cyprus, as we had never been before and there have been a number of Covid restrictions in place. Michael worked incredibly hard to support us every step of the way. He organised car hire at the villa and an airport transfer. The airport transfer was a Godsend, as the young man helped us through the border and made our journey to the villa completely stress free. Jan, the property manager, was there to help us also on our arrival, but in addition, Michael contacted us throughout our stay to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. He also recommended places for us to visit and there is a useful booklet he has thoughtfully put together in the villa. We stayed for a whole month and I can honestly say, we regret not extending the time further. We had the most wonderful stay. The villa is exceptional, with very tasteful decor, all home comforts (we particularly enjoyed the citrus press to make local orange juice and the coffee machine), very comfortable beds and an innate homely feel. The villa also boasts some of the most wondrous vistas you could ever hope from. From one angle you look to the mountains and the other the sea. We moved around the garden to enjoy these views and particularly whilst making use of the stone bbq! We also used the pool daily, which was a welcome relief in the very hot Summer. It’s well maintained, with a pool company servicing it twice a week. Michael’s wife is also a very clever and keen gardener and has created an oasis of beauty. With bananas hanging from the trees, a variety of herbs, carob tree and bursting blooms, the garden is a joy to watch and only adds to the tranquility and calm of the place. Lastly, if you’ve never been to North Cyprus, go! The people we met were some of the kindest we have ever experienced. There’s amazing restaurants, whether you want to experience local flavours or home comforts, all can be found. We love exploring and walking, and even in the extreme heat of the Summer went on walks to Buffavento, St Hilarion, hidden monasterys and much more. There is so much to explore and see here, the wild donkeys of Karpas, the fabulous beaches and we even saw some turtles! A huge thank you to Michael and his wife for being the perfect hosts and for the most memorable holiday. We will be back!

ruhige Lage mit schönem Blick

wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen . Die Abwicklung über Michael hat hervorragend geklappt , er antwortet innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Der Ansprechpartner vor Ort ist Jan, eine ganz liebe und hilfsbereite Person .Bei sämtlichen Fragen/Problemen bekommt man umgehende Hilfe. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits und ein Auto zwingend erforderlich. Wir haben den Wagen vorab über Michael gebucht , ebenso den Transfer ab/bis Ercan Flughafen , hat super funktioniert.Das Haus ist ordentlich eingerichtet und alles ist recht gepflegt. Die Schlafzimmer liegen alle im oberen Bereich , wobei 1 Zimmer das Bad ensuite hat. Das 2.Zimmer ist viel kleiner und hat ein Queensizebett mit einer sehr weichen Matztatze . Das 3.Zimmer hat 2 Einzelbetten und ist extrem klein . Im oberen Bereich gibt es auch ein weiteres Badezimmer und eine grosse Terrasse. Im unteren Bereich ist die offene Küche , ein Badezimmer, Wohn- und Esszimmer .Vom Poolbereich hat man einen schönen Blick in alle Richtungen . Die Liegen haben Auflagen , allerdings gibt es keine Auflagen für die Stühle im Aussenbereich. Den nächsten Supermarkt erreicht man in ca 15 Minuten im alten Dorf . Das nächste Restaurant ist in 10 Gehminuten zu erreichen ,Canos Green Palace , mit mittelmässiger Küche . Wir sind dort 2 mal gewesen und waren die einzigen Gäste am Abend, ist wirklich nicht besonders toll. Fussläufig , ca 25 Minuten , wäre dann noch an der Hauptstrasse das Park Restaurant, leckere Pizza und Kebab. Wir haben für uns das Sirin Yali Restaurant entdeckt , maximal 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, direkt am Meer. Tolles Essen und super freundliches Personal. Mit dem Auto haben wir uns wieder viel angeschaut , die Gegend um Lefke hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Das war unser dritter Aufenthalt in Nordzypern und wir kommen bestimmt zurück

Relaxing and quiet villa

We had a fantastic relaxing time at the villa , it has a good sized pool and we found the area quiet and stress free . We hired a car which is needed to get about , there are taxis which we used if going out for a few drinks . We found North Cyprus good value and very friendly - we will happily visit again !!

Relaxing family holiday

The villia is in a lovely quiet location with a fantastic pool, a pretty garden and fantastic views. The villa is very modern with all the appliances that you could possibly want. We spent most of our time at the property as we've visited northern Cyprus many times before but we did venture out a few times for dinner and food shopping. Would strongly recommend hiring a car. There is a small shop nearby but larger shops and restaurants are a little too far away to walk to. Would definitely go back again, thoroughly relaxing holiday.

I love Northern Cyprus because of the quiet unspoiled lifestyle. The views are wonderful with a range of bars and restaurants. There are many interesting places to visit and always with incredible views There is really something for everyone here.

I love to sit outside by the pool at night having wonderful dinner and sometime with the lights off and star gaze with a cold drink. I also enjoy the views of the mountains with the various weather systems changing in the early mornings. I am also lucky to have very friendly and kind neighbours who have all made me very welcome.
