Fantastic holiday

The property was even better than the pictures show. It is very private, immaculately clean and well located. The host was so helpful and friendly, but not intrusive in any way. The local area is ideal for holidays, with nice beaches, lots of places to eat, and some archeological sites nearby also. Definitely recommend the property to couples and families.

Paradise

A truly special place for a couple to be able to get away from the world and recharge. Unbeatable views, wonderful seclusion and an amazing pool. The host is possibly the nicest person we've ever come across when renting a villa - nothing was a problem and the attention to detail was amazing. We will return for sure.

A truly wonderful property

Everything about this villa is perfect! The villa itself was the perfect size for our family of 5 and it had everything we needed and more. The outside space, the swimming pool and the views are out of this world - true luxury! It is also perfectly located, close to the airport, beaches, historic towns - the perfect base for exploring Northern Sicily, although when you see the villa you will not want to leave it!! Loredana was also extremely helpful and kind. I strongly recommend this property!

Even better than the pictures

Only have positive things to say. Incredible villa, the outside area in extraordinary and the view spectacular. We went as a family of 5 with three children (6,6,11) and although the indoor space is small it is adequate. The quality of finish to all aspects of the villa is touching perfect. Enough to do locally for a family for a week with a selection of beaches and cultural activities.

Beautiful villa stunning views

The villa and especially the pool area are stunning. The Villa is in an elevated position providing fabulous views of the sea and surrounding countryside. As a previous reviewer has stated it was difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool area. It truly is a slice of paradise and we hope to return in the future. There’s lots to see in the local area and there are some fab restaurants a short car ride from the villa. Loredana was a great host and always available to help. Many thanks for helping to make our first trip to Sicily a very memorable one.

Absolutely stunning

We were met by Loredana, her lovely mum & their beautiful little dog. They are rightly very proud of their villa because it is beautifully presented and really well cared for. We couldn't fault anything. The view is breathtaking! far better than we imagined in a wonderful setting with it's own private grounds. We were so happy at the villa, we didn't really want to leave it at all, but felt we must have a look around the area. Scopello is lovely & quant, really nice courtyard with a number of very good restaurants. The stony beach is lovely too. We also explored San Vito De Capo, which is busier & has lots going on. Our favourite place was the harbour at Castellammare del Golfo. Lovely restaurants and bars which were really trendy. Thank you so much Loredana, we had a fantastic holiday in your beautiful villa and hope to return in the future. Jackie and Ken.

Wonderful villa in a peaceful location with a fab host.

We booked Villa Laguna Blu hoping for a relaxing, luxuriously lazy and peaceful holiday and were not disappointed. Loredana was he perfect host, it is clear to see she has put so much energy and love into her home. The villa is just as good if not better than the photos. We booked it in part for the sea view but we also loved watching the sun moving and the weather over the mountains and glorious landscape. The villa is compact but perfect for us as a couple and had everything we needed. The outdoor space is wonderful with the beds in the sun and the sofa and table on the veranda. We were cautious entering the natural pool, we went in with small steps sideways a few times until we got the hang of it but were fine after that. If you were infirm or unsteady on your feet you might struggle. The pool, once in was glorious, with the view, a great temperature, beautifully clear and clean, and we loved watching the birds swoop in for drinks. We did venture out and about, and the local area is stunning, but it was an effort to drag ourselves away from the villa, we could have been very happy there the whole time. We would gladly visit again and hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did.

NOTHING SHORT OF PARADISE

We visited Sicily a couple of weeks ago for a ‘babymoon’ vacation and stayed at the Villa Laguna Blu for one week. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for!! A quiet, relaxing and tranquil accommodation which offers everything it promises! Since we were not planning to move around a lot, we spent a lot of time in the villa and enjoyed every minute of it! The pool is absolutely amazing (just watch out for the edges because you may bang into them while trying to swim!), so are the deck chairs and the four poster bed in the garden! The view is breathtaking especially in the morning and during sunset and the barbeque grill is just perfect to fix up a great meal! We also visited some of the local beaches (the pebble beach at Scopello and the sandy one at San Vito Lo Capo) and they were wonderful! Loredana is the best hostess ever and is always at your disposal (literally!) and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Some pointers: You ABSOLUTELY need a car to get there and also to move around. Given the weather, there are a few mosquitoes especially in the evening, so please carry some mosquito repellant creams (Loredana did have some plug in mosquito repellants and the entire house is fitted with pull down nets). You can buy fresh fish by the port, but you need to get there before 9 am! We found a ‘pescheria’which is open during specific times. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and honestly, we never wanted to leave! We are definitely hoping to visit again, hopefully with our little one!

Tranquility in Sicily....

My husband and I booked this villa as a second honeymoon / relaxing break and that is exactly what we got. You definitely need a car because the secluded location is idyllic. The local village with supermarket/restaurants is roughly a 5/10 minute drive - too far to walk But the secluded location is what seals the deal with this villa. It is situated in a nature reserve and you pass through 2 locked security gates and are not overlooked - Loredana, the privacy in this villa is undersold. Talking of Loredana, in 15 years of renting holiday villas I have never come across an owner who cares about the quality of your stay so much - she cannot be faulted. Any email or text message sent to her before our stay was answered within minutes - although there was no need to contact her when we were there as all our needs had been met. I have read reviews stating that the pool can cut your feet - we didn't find this to be true - yes it has a rough concrete like finish but this texture is to ensure you don't slip as you walk in. The pool is not a traditional swimming pool it's far nicer than that! The interior of the villa is quite basic but perfectly adequate - all your time is spent outside - the wifi even covers the gardens! And then there is the view....wow We found Sicilian people to be very friendly and accommodating to our lack of their beautiful language - although Loredana herself has a very good grasp of English and if you are lucky enough to meet her mother (and beautiful dog!) she speaks very good French. So all in all we had the most perfect holiday and hope to go back very soon.

Sicilia at its best!

Unglaublich tolle Aussicht und toller Pool!Loredana ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist klein aber sehr freundlich dekoriert und sehr sauber! Wirklich großartig ist auch der Grill und die Terrasse.Es gibt gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung.Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, vielen Dank!

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt atemberaubendem Meerblick! :-)

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, eine unvergessliche Zeit in der wunderschönen Villa mit privatem Pool und Meerblick, in Sizilien, zu verbringen. Mit einem weiteren Pärchen waren wir von Anfang an von der atemberaubenden Schönheit der Umgebung und der Villa überwältigt. Die Lage der Villa ist einfach spektakulär. Der Blick auf das Meer war atemberaubend. Der private Pool war ein wahrer Luxus und bot eine willkommene Abkühlung an heißen Sommertagen. Es war einfach herrlich, im Pool zu schwimmen und gleichzeitig den Blick auf das Meer zu genießen. Ich fühlte mich wie im Paradies :-) Loredana war äußerst hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Sie sorgte dafür, dass unser Aufenthalt angenehm und komfortabel verlief. Sie stand jederzeit zur Verfügung, um meine Fragen zu beantworten und mir bei meinen Anliegen behilflich zu sein. Ihre herzliche Art und Kenntnisse über die Region trugen dazu bei, dass ich mich sofort willkommen fühlte. Am ersten Abend gab's schon die erste Tischreservierungen für uns. Die Villa selbst war gemütlich, aufgeräumt eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigt. Die Terrasse bot einen idealen Ort, um morgens einen Kaffee zu genießen oder abends ein Glas Wein bei Sonnenuntergang zu trinken. Ich kann sie jedem empfehlen, der einen unvergesslichen Urlaub in einer traumhaften Umgebung verbringen möchte. Vielen Dank an die herzlichen Gastgeberin für ihre Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nicht ganz 5 Sterne, aber fast

Lage, Pool, Ferienwohnung, ... einfach alles top. Ausstattung könnte besser sein, bei son einre Villa gehört fast eine Spülmaschine rein. Aber Dinge wie Spülmittel, nur eine Klopapier, kein Salz und Pfeffer, .. fanden wir schon sehr schade dass bei so einer tollen Villa dies nicht vorhanden ist! Deshalb der eine Punkt Abzug!

Assoluto relax.

Il luogo ideale per chi ama la tranquillità e riprendersi dallo stress della vita quotidiana. La villa è curatissima così come il giardino intorno. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e molto accogliente. Inoltre la piscina è davvero spettacolare e la vista che si scorge è magnifica. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Geweldig!

Eigenlijk kan ik heel kort zijn; het is namelijk in 1 woord geweldig! De voorbereidingen en communicatie door Loredana is persoonlijk en het huis, de locatie en de sfeer is fantastisch. Wij zijn hier met 2 zoontjes geweest, die de tijd van hun leven hadden. Echt een aanrader!

Fantastische kleine Villa

Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt und hat einen wahnsinnig tollen Garten. Dazu dieser phantastische Blick, zusammen mit dem traumhaften Pool,das ist Karibik Feeling. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit auch die Besitzerin Loredana, Ganz grosses Kompliment. Ein herrlicher Urlaub!

Very confortable house with stunning view

We enjoyed a lot our stay at the villa. We profited a lot from the swimming pool with its stunning view on the sea and mountains. The villa is very clean, confortable, nice furnished, and with a big pergola where you can have long dinner. Some mosquitos but not enough to discourage us. To have a car is recommended to access to the villa and to visit the region. I did also 7 beautiful and original dives in the Zingaro reserve with Ceteria Diving club (cave, wreck). We ate also at the restaurant Quetzal, which offers a stunning view on Castellamare city and gulf (and by the way, the food is good!) Last but not least, Loredana, the owner, is always available in case of question or assistance so that you can enjoy from your stay. I can recommend the villa to anyone interested to rent it.

Relaxing Holiday in Complete Luxury

Despite reading all the amazing reviews it was still a surprise to us how amazing this villa was. It is set in a lovely quiet location with fabulous views around the valley and up to the hills. The pool is gorgeous, always warm and refreshing and the water natural instead of full of chlorine. There is such a great choice of places to relax and take in the scenery from gorgeous bamboo sun loungers, a four poster bed with muslin shade (my favourite) and then cute coffee table and chairs. The weather was fantastic so we didn't need to spend much time indoors but it was extremely clean, well maintained and very comfortable too. We loved the location as there are lots of beaches to explore if you can tear yourself away from the villa, and there are sweet villages and towns to visit and eat out in. We have not been to Sicily before and what we loved was the beaches are relatively quiet and the sea calm, but at the same time the mountains in the background provide stunning scenery. Loredana was an excellent host-extremely helpful and always available to offer advice every step of the process from booking the holiday to when you are staying there. A week wasn't long enough and we would love to return to this villa and explore some more.
