Chylowenは趣味良く装飾された広々とした家族向けの別荘で、アーサー王城で有名な歴史的な村ティンタジェルの中心部から徒歩5〜10分です。 建物は3階建てで、海、海岸、田園地帯の素晴らしい景色に囲まれています。2台の車両用のオフロードパーキングと、自転車またはサーフボード用のストレージがあります。 宿泊施設は、5/6人が快適に眠り、家族用バスルームと海岸沿いの素晴らしい景色を望むバスルーム付きの旅行用ベッドを備えています。 Trebarwith StrandとBossineyの近くには2つの壮大な砂浜があり、どちらも今ではサーフィンで有名であり、北海岸にはすべて車で行ける距離にあります。 ボスキャッスル、ポートアイザック、ニューキー、バッド、有名なエデンプロジェクトまで車で簡単にアクセスできます。 海岸の小道は家から徒歩5分です。 私たち自身が所有し、清掃し、維持しています。質の高いホリデー宿泊施設を提供してきた長年の経験を持つ地元の家族です。

A perfect place to visit the magical Tintagel!

The accommodation was absolutely perfect. Close to the village, castle and the beautiful surrounding areas. Sue also provided everything we needed for our stay! A lush little trip and we hope to be back sooner rather than later!

Views are very nice. The house is comfortabel. Easy access to the village and starting point for hikes and is close to other nice villages. Beautifull surroundings. Friendly and helpfull owners.

We have just received the review you left us via Home Away and were very sorry and concerned to see the content of your short review and the three star rating. you gave. This review does not compare at all with the comments you left in our guest book at the property. We do not feel in any way that we give the impression the house is actually by the sea, we quite correctly state that there are views of the sea from the upstairs rooms. Our property details also show photos of the garden to the property. We strive to provide a quality, well-equipped holiday home for our many guests, both new and returning and have never had anything but great reviews and lovely comments from all of our guests; we are always on hand to give advice both before and during visits, as you are fully aware following the comprehensive advice I provided to you with various travel options from London to Cornwall. This is the first time in ten years of operating a holiday rental that we have received a 3 star rating and a review which is contradictory to that left in the guest book and the comments you made to us when returning the keys . It saddens us at the impact it will have on our overall ratings, which to date have always been fantastic.

Stunning!

It genuinely feels like home here, the layout of the house and the decor is just right. The views are breathtaking from every window in the house. The welcome we had was some fresh eggs and a bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. 4 of us stayed here and we did not once feel like we were living in each other's pockets. one of our group is well over 6foot tall and he found he had to sleep diagonally in the bed but he was comfy all the same. the bedroom doors are very creaky to open and shut but you very quickly get used to it. the views and the homely feeling this house provided will stay with me for a very long time.

Great place to stay

Chylowen is very comfortable, well equipped, with plenty of storage space, and spotlessly clean. Thank you, Sue! Lovely views from upstairs. We appreciated the easy access by car as we have stayed in properties before which were down miles of narrow lanes. Close to the village (10 minutes' walk) but quiet and rural and close to the coastal path. It was lovely to find a bottle of wine to welcome us. We strongly recommend Boscastle farm shop and the cream tea at Bossiney tea rooms (best scones ever). We were at Trebarwith Strand 3 times without actually seeing the beach - it seems that it is only accessible within about 2 hours of low tide. It didnt matter to us as the weather was too cool for the beach, but it may be important for other guests to know! Altogether a great week and lovely place to stay.

Home from home

A really great holiday home. I use the word home as that is how it felt especially after staying two weeks. Everything you need there, especially in the kitchen. Sue and Kieron have put so much thought into this house to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. If going to holiday in this area again would not hesitate to see if this property was vacant first. The views to both front and back are special if you are a city dweller- sea and moors. Sea from the living room which is on the first floor. The position allows sun in the house at front in the morning and back in the afternoon making it bright and sunny. Quite a spacious house. Private parking at front for two cars. Only a 10 minute walk into Tintagel, a lovely place to browse round. You can even see pasties being made. Lots of walks nearby with St Nectans Glen a must along with Rocky valley. Lovely beach only a 5 min drive or walk it via the coastal path with amazing views. St Michaels mount in a couple of hours if you wish to go further a field. All in all a great place in a great location. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Thank you for writing such a lovely review about our holiday cottage. We strive to keep the property to the standards which we like to find accommodation in ourselves when we travel. Thank you also for being such wonderful guests and leaving the property so tidy and clean. It makes our Saturdays/changeover days so much easier when our guests leave the property so nicely. Although, our cleaning routine is the same however the property is left, it still makes it more of a pleasure when guests leave it as clean as you did and makes the letting so much easier. Thank you again and we hope to welcome you back to Chylowen in the future.

Perfect in every way

What a beautiful cottage. Late writing this review as we moved house, and area, 2 days before this holiday and was great to relax and still be able to sort out all that goes with a major house move! We have stayed in quite a few rental properties but this was by far the best. Thank you Susan, communication excellent and it is clear that you treat you holiday home with as much care and attention as you would your own. Spotlessly clean, beautiful furnishing and detail throughout, Cornish lampshades and cushions covers a lovely touch. Fast reliable internet, well used by us. Kitchen very well equipped, thank you for the bottle of wine upon arrival and selection of tea/coffee a bonus. Lovely quality bedding and towels, plenty of. View of evening of sunsets (lounge on first floor and master suit on second floor) second to none. Too many extras to list, a touch of home from home. 15 mins strolling distance to centre of Tinatagel, plenty of places to eat and highly recommend the mussels cooked in Cornish cider at Ye Olde Malthouse Inn. Catered for all diets including gluten free battered fish, fresh and delicious. Tintagel castle never fails to impress, great team who provided a wheelchair for my Mum so she could go across the new bridge. Quiet and relaxing, just what the doctor ordered. We would like to wish you all the best for the future and will definitely be recommending your property to friends.

Fabulous property!

We had a wonderful week! Weather was hot but rooms stayed cool with a lovely sea breeze flowing through! The house is spotless and has every home comfort you would need! Loved the king size bed! Tassimo machine was used daily! Fabulous views from lounge and master bedroom! Hosts very friendly and on hand! Highly recommend!

Better than even the listing would make you think

Susan was especially generous in allowing us to check-in early. We loved the mid-level living room and its views, as well as the sizeable bedrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we had one rainy afternoon watching a film on the large TV

Fine holiday home and excellent base for walking.

Well-presented, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Excellent fridge/freezer for self-catering, induction hob and dishwasher. Garden well-maintained with good visibility for little ones. Conservatory very useful and comfortable. Good parking for two cars and very friendly host. Close to the coastal path and a number of excellent beaches. A very good centre for a week’s holiday.

Lovely home from home

It really felt like home for 2weeks while we explored the most beautiful surrounding area. We love the north coast of Cornwall (all of Cornwall in fact) and never tire of coming. There's so much to do, whatever the weather, and having a clean, spacious, comfortable home as a base made the holiday perfect for us. Thank you Sue, we highly recommend.

Wonderful Autumn stay

Sue was a great host. We had a long journey in terrible weather and she got in touch to let us know she had lights and heating on ready for us. It was a real home from home with everything you need on hand. Memorable visits - the castle, Nectan waterfall and a walk along coast to Trebarwith strand. Our boys already planning our next visit 😀

Good location, lovely house

Everything about this property was good. It was a short walk into Tintagel which we did most evenings for a drink or fish and chips. The property itself was just as the listing described. It was clean and well equipped even with the little things that make a stay away from home easy and comfortable. The views were lovely and we found it a good location to explore the North Cornwall coastline. We made it to the Eden Project in under an hour. Would wholly recommend this property for a family holiday,

I have lived in Tintagel all of my life. My husband and I feel very fortunate to live in what we consider to be the most beautiful part of the country. I worked for the local District and Parish Council until recently and at the Tintagel Visitor Centre, and my husband runs our own engineering business.

The property is set just outside of the village of Tintagel, only a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of the village with all its amenities. Beautiful coastal walks can be taken from the property with the coast path only 5 minutes away. There are also beaches, varied attractions and quaint Cornish villages to be explored.
