⸻We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in McHenry/Deep Creek! The place was very neat, beautifully made, and felt cozy the moment we walked in. The hosts were thoughtful and left us a complimentary package with essentials like paper towels, dishwasher soap, and toilet paper, which we really appreciated.The only small issue we noticed was the fridge filter, which seemed expired and wasn’t working properly ,and also the place was a little bit cold .but everything else was perfect. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

As mentioned in close out. The family room fireplace either does not work or needs a better instruction guide.We noticed later that the right hand slider in basement lock bar is broken. The property driveway was very difficult to see arriving after. 8 pm at night as well as the house entrance. Motion sensor suggested.All this said we would rent again.Close out procedure should be on the refrigerator, specifically if we were supposed to remove sheets from the bed. Also it would have been nice to know that hot tub people and Railey employee could be stopping by. Actual tv remote for family room missing. We wanted to switch the input.

Great location for my family reunion. We enjoyed the deck, ample space, and hot tub. Beautifully decorated interior. Cons were several ants around kitchen counter tops and cabinets which made it hard to prepare meals. Also the outdoor furniture and doorways could have been cleaner as there were large cobwebs and dirt found on chairs and entryways. There was also a floss pick left outside by the hotub upon arrival.

Great stay and cabin! Would have loved a little more view of the lake, but if you are off the lake and a road separates you, you’ll get that limited view. Overall a great location close to restaurants and boat rental locations

Lovely birthday weekend away

Red Moose Cabin was lovely! The space, access to the lake, the deck. Only isdue was a lack of soap for the bathrooms and dishes, which we ended up purchasing ourselves. I loved my time in this cabin.

Great winter escape

Booked the house for weekend getaway with family and friends. House was in great location, clean and great overall layout. We would definitely stay again. Plenty of room for relaxing getaway and minutes away from skiing!

Great getaway--our first visit to Deep Creek

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The house itself is gorgeous & the furnishing are great. The kitchen was well equiped with large pots and pans for cooking for 9 of us. The outside patio had nice adirondack chairs for relaxing and reading and the dining table and chair set on the deck seemed new & was great, especially with the umbrella on it. The hot tub on the lower deck was fantastic too. We enjoyed playing cornhole as well. The firepit is on quite a slope, so it was not great to sit around and the chairs on the lower patio were all broken and in disrepair. The beds (except the king one) were very firm and we did have sore backs because that is not what we are used to. Some bed toppers would be a great addition. Thank you for this overall wonderful place to stay. We loved that it was so close to the beach area and many other neat things to do. We certainly enjoyed our stay & exploring Deep Creek.

Great weekend getaway!

This was a fantastic spot close to Deep Creek Lake. The house had plenty of room for the whole family and we enjoyed the spacious deck and the hot tub. A few issues that came up - we didn’t have hot water from Sunday afternoon until we left on Monday morning. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen. The deck was not cleaned before we came, and was very dirty with cobwebs everywhere and on all the furniture outside.

Cozy cabin

We were looking for a reasonably priced house with some winter cabin character for 5 kids and 5 adults. This house met our needs well and had a very nice set-up and floor plan for a reasonable price. With the very steep and long driveway, the recommendation for an AWD/4X4 vehicle should be taken very seriously in the winter months.

Great place. Great spaces. Got hit with large snowfall and guys showed up to plow without us needing to ask. We planned on a relaxing, laid back few days and we got it. Would recommend bringing your streaming passwords or your own device since their Xfinity cable is only SD.

Great Place for a family get together

The family get together was a success! The property and location ideal for guests from WV and Northern VA. Spacious kitchen and dining area. My only suggestions are the following: the kitchen could use two newer medium to large skillets and a new griddle. For the property managers, I would have liked more than two trash bags. Also, there was no hand soap in the bathrooms. If you stay on the property, bring tinfoil, plastic wrap, ziplocks, hand soap, and few large trash bags. Again, nice property and my family had a wonderful visit.

Great weekend getaway

Great place to stay with the family for a few days. A couple things I would change. The fire pit in the backyard is almost impossible to sit around since the property is on a steep hill. It would be nice if there were more couches in the basement for more people to relax. But overall great experience. Located just off the water and in the middle of everything. We had a lot of fun.

Beautiful home attentive rental company.

The house was beautiful. The intererior very clean. The exterior just needs someone to come and power wash and get cob webs off in corners etc. The beds were comfy. The downstairs area with pool table and bar was awesome. We called when we got there because our hot tub was clear but had a greenish tint. With ur 20 minutes they came and fixed it. We ran needed gas for the grill the second day and they came in about an an hour after we called We suggest bringing gallons of bottled water. The water is is not too tasty from faucet and the filtered water in the fridge is slow. I think it may be well water or minerals in it. The property is close to a road that is fairly busy. So we could hear that when outside. Super close to the state beach and dutches at silver tree/ harbor bar was amazing!uts an out door restaurant that had a playground for the kids and u could bring dogs. ❤️ amazing food and beverages !
