Stunning family villa with plenty of space

Our stay at this villa was nothing but a pleasure. Sandra and her husband Juan were so helpful from the start, assisting us with information and helpful tips. They live next door and were ready to help us at all times! The villa is lovely, such a nice family feel to it. There is plenty of space, we were 2 families with 2 small children and Sandra showed us where all of the toys were for the children to use. She even provided a cot and baby chair. The garden is beautiful and full of lovely flowers and plants. The kids enjoyed swinging on the swings in the afternoon. The pool was the perfect size for us and was cleaned often. There was a BBQ outside which we used everyday. The house is well equipped and we had everything that we needed. We found a lovely bar called "Local Social" only 5-10 minutes walk from the villa which was perfect for tapas and drinks! Thank you to Sandra and Juan for making us feel so at home :-)

Hemos pasado unos días francamente buenos alojados en casa Mandala : hospitalidad infinita, jardín de ensueño, entorno privilegiado y sobre todo, relax, mucho relax de la mano de sus propietarios preocupados en todo momento por nuestra estancia y comodidades. La experiencia ha sido muy buena. La casa estaba super limpia y Sandra, la dueña de la casa, estuvo para todo lo que necesitamos. El sitio es muy tranquilo y la piscina es muy agradable. 100% recomendable.

Great base with everything close by

What a fantastic property and location for exploring what the Costa del sol Has to offer. Sandra and Juan were amazing with all the info that was sent to us and the villa clean and tidy and the pool was amazing. I would advise a car if you want to explore, but all I all we had a fantastic time and would go back again. Thank you Sandra and juan

Relaxing Family Stay

The owner was lovely and very helpful. The villa was a great place to relax with 2 young kids: swimming pool, sandpit, swings and lots of toys to keep them entertained. Very clean, well equipped and lots of lovely outdoor space. Quiet location which suited us but you need a car.

Relaxing Villa

Well deserved the 5 * on this property. Sandra, Juan and the girls are absolutely lovely, they are always available if you need to ask a question or need help. Yet, they live in the house at the back, you would never know they are there. Sandra sent us lots of information prior to staying there, communication is brilliant. The house is very clean, relaxing & big. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, washing machine and fridge freezer. There is a fantastic playground for young children from toys, books and swings for them to play on or the pool to swim in. We had a lovely relaxing time here. It would be advantage to have a car, but the local bus service (one per hour) will take you to Coin town centre and there you can get buses to the other parts of Costa Del Sol. Highly reccommend Casa Mandala.

Wundervoller Familienurlaub!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Casa Mandala. Haus und Anlage sind, wie schon auf den Fotos zu sehen, sehr gepflegt und bieten viele Möglichkeiten. Unser einjähriger Sohn konnte sich hier nach Herzenslust austoben und seine Umgebung erforschen. Auf der geräumigen Veranda kann man den Tag entspannt ausklingen lassen und hierbei den Grillen lauschen. Coin ist gut gelegen für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen und bietet alles, was man zum täglichen Leben braucht. Die Gastgeber, Sarah & Juan, sind unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuverlässig und dabei dennoch völlig unaufdringlich. Man fühlt sich willkommen. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Fantastic villa!

Sandra and Juan’s Villa is amazing! Clean, spacious and cool. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. One of our party became ill while we were there and Sandra and Juan did all they could to help out, even offered us the use of there own home on the day of departure. A huge thank you to you both. The villa is fantastic and we could see how much time, money and love had been put into the property. The views are amazing and there’s a horse in the field outside the villa called Hortelana who loves carrots! It’s quiet and just what we were looking for. Thanks for letting us stay in your home and for all you’ve done xx We loook forward to coming again

Nice 10 Day stay

We are a family of 4 that required a Villa near Cartamar, which Coin is only a short drive away. Casa Mandala is a large 3 bedroom villa situated on the outskirts of Coin. The villa is extremely clean and spacious, with all the mod cons needed for a stay. The outside area is calming and the pool was kept clean by the owners, who are situated next door, which is a completely separate dwelling. Sandra Gonzales is an excellent host, who is on hand if needed. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful relaxing week of sunshine

If your reading this and thinking of booking the villa, absolutely book it,you will not be disappointed. We travelled to Sandra and juans villa on the 18th of July for 1 week, 4 adults 2 toddlers and a 13 year old. We had a fabulous time Sandra was so accomadating for the toddlers provided 2 highchairs 2 cots ( absolutely everything we needed and some!) this made our stay stress free and home from home. The villa was immaculate and lovely and cool. The surrounding area was lovely and locals friendly. We had a wonderful relaxing week. Playing with the children in the sunshine and eating out on the terrace, it was perfect. The children particularly enjoyed our nightly visit of the horse that came to the back gate for an apple. Thanks again Sandra and Juan for providing everything we needed for the boys, making the holiday stress free and the perfect get away! See you next year hopefully!!

Absolutely amazing!!

We visited the house for about two weeks in July 2018 and we had the most wonderful stay. Juan and Sandra, the owners, were very friendly and helpful. They even got up in the middle of the night for our arrival. The house was big, clean, cool and had everything we needed; perfect surroundings for our holiday. Our children loved the pool and played in the well kept garden. The house has a great location. It is completely private, yet close to everything e.g. supermarkets and restaurants (5 minutes drive from the house). We give this house our highest recommendations. A stunning family friendly escape

We had a fantastic stay at Sandra's villa. The house is clean and beautiful, providing a cool haven from the Spanish sunshine. Sandra and her family were excellent hosts offering outstanding hospitality and providing plenty of information about the local area, while also offering a private space to enjoy our break. The facilities for children really made our stay and kept our young son entertained throughout. The covered patio provides a shaded place to play and the raised pool is a wonderful place to cool off while providing peace of mind. The local area offers stunning mountain scenery with beautiful white villages and easy access to the coast. We enjoyed trips to both Ronda and Mijas, alongside the beaches of Malaga. I would highly recommend staying at the villa and we look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful villa and pool in quiet location

The owners Sandra and Juan were so helpful and at hand with any queries. The villa was absolutely brilliant and the photos don't do it justice. It is very clean and there were toys supplied for the children. The pool is a very good size and the kids aged 9 and 2 loved it. We spent a lot of time at the villa chilling. Great sitting outside in the evening using the BBQ. A 5-10 minute drive into coin centre where the shops and supermarkets are. Would we go back again. Yes we would. The villa is half an hour drive from Malaga and Marbella. You do need to hire a car as it is half an hour drive from the airport and to get around.

Wonderful comfortable stay!

Nice location amongst fields and lovely mountain views. Little shop is 5 mins walk away, adequate for most things. Around 20 mins walk or 5 minute drive is Coin town with larger supermarkets Lidl and others. Airport, water parks and beach all around 30-45 mins away by car. Sandra and her family live next door in a separate house, totally private. Easy to contact her by phone if needed and always very helpful. Washing machine was very handy and the washing line outside. My son liked seeing the white horse in the field opposite everyday! He also loved the pool, perfect size and depth for children. Big veranda with tables & chairs. Kitchen is well equipped with all kitchen utensils, plus kids plates and cutlery. Kids outdoor toys plus toys and puzzles inside, tv. Lovely shower rooms. House seemed to stay very cool despite the scorching weather - netted windows kept the house cool and bugs out! Thanks so much to Sandra & Family. Super Holidays!! Great Villa, private, ideal with kids , a place to relax and enjoy

We stayed 2 weeks in July 2017. Family with 2 kids ( 8, 3) The Villa is big, with different areas to sit, nice pool , garden, shaded varanda, exactly like in the pictures 😊😊 The owners Juan and Sandra are really nice, always willing to help. They clean the swimming pool every other day early in the morning not to bother their guests. We recommend to rent a car. In the surroundings you can find a small supermarkt and some small bar/cafeteria. Coin center is a 20 minute walk, there you can find restaurants , ice cream place, big supermarkts , shops, etc.... We visited Malaga, Mijas ( nice old town!) and Fuengirola. But the main activity of the holidays was staying in the house relaxing, swimming, hanging on the hamacas, ...... We had a great hoilday and we would like to thank Sandra and Juan for their kindness and help.

Super vacances

Nous avons passé de super vacances en famille, grands-parents, parents et petits enfants. Sandra est super sympa et toujours là si nécessaire. La maison est bien agréable et très propre. L'entretien du jardin et de la piscine est fait pas son mari Juan sans jamais nous déranger. Je conseille cette villa à tous sans aucun soucis.

Excellent villa! Very private, clean and all the facilities you would need.

We stayed for 10 days arriving 10 June 2017, the villa is very private not overlooked at all; It is exactly how the pictures show. We would definitely recommend you hire a car, we initially didn't and although there are local basic shops and a few bars we needed to travel further afield. We took a taxi from the villa to Malaga to the care hire office 35 minute drive by taxi which cost 35euro. You can walk into Coin centre which takes about 25 minutes, the closest main supermarket is not walking distance, again a car is recommended. The address for the villa was a little confusing for the taxi company we had (their fault), the exact coordinates for the villa using Google maps is: https://goo.gl/maps/PAF6Avw34h52 The owners Sandra & Jaun were fantastic, they leave you to it, the pool is cleaned every other day and was lovely. The villa is fantastic for children, washing machine was very handy. Our children had a wonderful time 7 and 9 months, we wanted a change from an all inclusive hotel and this villa was perfect. Home from home (if home has sunshine and a pool!)

This is an excellent choice for families with young children looking for somewhere safe and self contained. We were 2 couples with 3 children under the age of 3 and the house gave us plenty of space to socialise and also be private when needed. The pool is particularly excellent, being raised with removable steps and the children also loved playing in the sandpit and on the swings. There is a fantastic shaded veranda which was excellent for playing and relaxing and the indoor hammocks were wonderful. Sandra went out of her way to find an extra toddler sized bed for us and made sure that we were all comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. We spent the majority of the time relaxing at the house but also enjoyed trips to Marbella and Malaga and a beach day too! We had a wonderful holiday and thank Sandra for fantastic hospitality!

Great spot for kids

just back from 10 days stay. have 3 kids (ages 5,6,10) who loved the house. Pool was perfect for them, sand, swings etc kept them well entertained. We ended up not even going to the beach cause they were happy to stay in the garden. House was very clean and Sandra had a nice welcome pack for us as we arrived late at night. Pool was well maintained (every 2nd day) but was done early in the morning so didn't impact on us at all. Did get it hard to find the house once we got to Coin, but just rang Sandra and she came and collecting us. car parking is tight so if you've a big car you'd need to be careful. small shop in walking distance. Big supermarkets about 5 minute drive. Close to Malaga - managed a half day shopping in a nice outlet. Town of Mijas was about 15k, away and was really nice, good range of restaurants etc. Not much in Coin itself. Great place for young kids for sure. No problem recommending Sandra or the house.

Everything we could have asked for

Sandra & Juan have created a wonderful family home at Casa Mandala, furnished to a high standard and perfectly clean. Sandra even went to the trouble of leaving us a little welcome pack, and drove me around so I could get my bearings. Although they are next door if you should need them, you wouldn't realise. This place is perfectly secluded and private. Our three children (3,6,11 yrs) never had a dull moment during our week here whether we spent the day lounging at the pool side or exploring Coin centre and the neighbouring towns. Dolphin and whale watching in Terifa is a 2 hr drive away (well worth it) and the beaches of Marbella are close enough to visit every day if you wanted! Thank you for an incredible stay - we'll tell all of our friends at home about beautiful Casa Mandala. The Davis Family.

Lovely villa and location

Just returned from a six week stay at Casa Mandala and what a lovely time we had the villa was lovely and garden with pool was great😀 Sandra was amazing so helpful and friendly even got my Antihistamine Tablets from the Pharmacy! Gave us lots of ideas for where to go and instructions to get there. The villa is located in a central position for beaches and resorts and Coin town only seven minutes away with lots of bars and restaurants. My name is Sandra. I am an art teacher and mother of two lovely girls. My husband Juan works building sets for cinema.
Some years ago my husband and I moved from Barcelona to inland Southern Spain to live in a natural environment. We have happily settled into the Southern and relaxed way of life.

We bought this empty land and planted all kinds of trees and plants to create a beautiful garden. At the same time we embarked on the adventure of building the house ourselves.
We wanted to build a new house, vibrant and full of good energy. To create a home for our daughters, safe and fun. With swings for children and adults. A pool to enjoy the summer season and a large garden where to have contact with the outdoor elements.
A shaded area with hammocks to relax and enjoy quiet talks.

During the weekends we like to go to the beach or the lakes. We also like to walk together in the countryside or enjoy a meal with good friends.

Malaga has the best weather in Europe. We moved from Barcelona looking for sun almost every day of the year. We moved form one big city to the countryside looking for more quality of life. Coin is close to beach, but with the benefits of the country: fantastic walking, beautiful rivers, natural environment, close to Natural Parks… It is a relaxed and quiet place but with everything you need nowadays to live comfortably and close to many amenities. Beach, Marbella and Malaga city is really close. Also airport is half hour from home.

The property offers the perfect base for day trips to the Costa del Sol: Malaga, Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus
Also offers easy and fast routes to Ronda, Gibraltar, Sevilla, Granada, Córdoba and Cadiz.

It is an ideal space for couples, where they can find an intimate and romantic place to disconnect from the outside world, enjoying the intimacy of the cottage, the terrace or its fantastic garden with pool.

Casa Mandala is also a perfect place for couples with small children. The house has a bunk bed where two children can sleep and we can also provide a travel cot, in case you travel with a baby.
It is a perfect environment to enjoy as a family with children. There are many entertainment possibilities for them: swimming in the pool, jumping on the trampoline, playing in the sandbox or in the play ground area. The possibilities are endless. Children can also find toys to keep them entertained, providing their parents with a well-deserved relax time.
