Perfect El Born location

This company does a very good job of managing their properties. All maintenance questions were answered and resolved properly. I would say the individual spaces are pretty small for 4 adults, but would work great for parents with a 1 or 2 kids. The space is not well insulated from noise, so my suggestion is to bring earplugs to avoid waking up to late night revelers coming back or noise from surrounding units. Hard to beat the location. It's in the heart of El Born. I had such a good time just creating a morning routine of walking the neighborhood. One upgrade/suggestion for the company is to get to get sofas that are more supportive (not old sofa beds) for lounging in the living rooms. But otherwise it's a very comfy stay.

Excellent apartment in a great location!

We were thrilled with this place. But the photos make it look a lot bigger than it is. The living room/kitchen area is very small. Not that we used it much at all since we only used the apartment for showering and sleeping. Bedrooms are rather small also. But maybe this is to be expected in the heart of Barcelona. But the location is amazing. Very clean place. Very comfy. Air conditioning worked great. Good water pressure for showering. Plenty of hot water. Beds very comfy. Quiet at night for sleeping, even with all the bustling activity on the streets outside because the apartment is in the interior part of the building. Families of locals and street parties and just an awesome vibe all around this area. Cafes. Shops. Restaurants. Highly recommend!!

The apartments are as described on the website thought the locals aren't really in favor of of tourist being there everything you need is it walking distance we booked two apartments only wish they were both on the same floor.

Awesome layout and location.

This place is even cooler in person! Awesome layout and location. The beds were comfortable, the towels were huge and fluffy, and the water pressure was wonderful. The high ceilings, and climate control were wonderful additions to our experience too. Also, the produce store and supermarket were located directly across the street for last minute needs. Would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending this apartment to others who plan to visit Barcelona. :)

Location, location, location - it's what it's all about! Karen's place is a five minute walk from the Placa de Cataluna and a 10 minute walk from Las Rambla. Everything about the neighborhood is just perfect. You feel like a local as you walk down the pedestrian street, drinking your pastries and debating which tapas to have next. The apartments are large and comfortable. We stayed with another family (10 people total). Bedrooms are large and comfortable with plenty of space to unpack and feel at home. Karen clearly communicated directions to the apartments and picking up the keys was easy. The pedestrian street where the apartment is located is super well-lit, so we never felt nervous coming home at night. This place is perfect for exploring Barcelona, especially the Gothic Quarter. I highly suggest booking Karen's place!

This apartments were great. Family friendly, and centrally located. Lots of natural light from the living room. The decor was really nice, and we had everything we needed. The market was a few doors down, perfect traveling with kids. It was really a pleasure staying in the apartments and would highly recommend it to others staying in Barcelona!

Very clean apartments

The apartments are very beautiful, clean and perfect for a family of 10. Location is excellent. You can walk to pretty much all neighborhoods. Many restaurants surround the area. About 10 min walk to Gothic and Las Ramblas. Elevator is a plus. Very good value for money. I recommend to everyone!

This place is in a perfect location! It is in walking distance to most barrios and is right in the heart of the gothic quarters. There is an amazing restaurant called Flax & Kale on the calle behind it, and also a restaurant called Rosa Negra with 3 Euro frozen margs only 5 minutes away. The apartments were very clean and well equipped and may friends and I spent memorable days in the city. Highly recommended.

It is not the first time as I am in Barcelona, so I already know which location is good for short term stay in the city. I was happy with my choice, we had a nice stay at Karen's place! This place is really big, many bedrooms, nice dinning table to have some quality time with your group, 2 bathrooms . The kitchen is fully equipped, the most important thing: the mattresses were comfortable and made our sleep easy. The location of the apartment is one of its biggest asset, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted and if we went further we were able to jump into the metro, there is metro stop just right by the apartment. Thank you for having trusted us with your apartment.

Perfect place

What a perfect place to stay in Barcelona!! In a GREAT location in the Gothic Quarter. Easy walk to metro, less than 5 min. To the La Boqueria it was 10 min or less walk. It was quaint and cozy, very clean and BEAUTIFUL design. It was everything I could imagine for my stay in Barcelona. The host is very quick to response and check in and check out is very easy. He will meet you with keys and show you in, easy as that. I’d recommend this to everyone and stay here again!!!

The place was so lovely

The place was so lovely and everything we were looking for in Barcelona! It is the perfect size for 10 people. The location is everything, you can walk so many places.. It is steps away from the Barcelona Cathedral, shopping, great food, not far from the port and so much more. The neighborhood of this apt is called El Born and we loved loved loved this area. We checked out a lot amazing restaurants (Arcano, Lonja de Tapas and El Xampanyet were our favs), shopping, flamenco dancing at Palau Damases, museums and bars in the area. We pretty much ate dinner and went to the bars in this area every night (Bar Sauvage, Stereo 18 & Creps del Born were our fav bars). The Mercat de Santa Caterina was really cool and there is a cafe walking distance called 365 that we went to every morning! Our flight was delayed so we got there a few hours later than expected but the staff was still very accommodating and welcoming. Although it was late she stayed to show us around on a map of the city and gave us lots of great recommendations. All of the places she told us to go to were soo good!!! Thank you for welcoming us, we can't wait to return in the future!

The nearest metro station is Urquinaona (L1 and L4 - red lines and yellow lines) and city sightseeing bus nearest stop at 6 minutes walking (red line - Barri Gotic stop).
Las Ramblas are a pleasant 10 minutes walk away.

El Born has been transformed almost overnight into the stylish, in-vogue heart of the city.
Small, intimate, friendly and funky quarter.
The heart and soul of this community is the wide open, tree-lined Passeig del Born. At one end of the Passeig is an impressive metal and glass structure, the former Mercat del Born covered market, while at the other end is one of the most important Gothic churches in all Catalonia, Santa Maria del Mar.
