Great location, nice property.

The flat is nicely laid-out, with two bedrooms, small bathroom, nicely furnished living room and small kitchen area. The flat could use a little more decoration - nothing on the walls except for a rather large and garish "Barcelona" logo which lights up when turned on! Check-in requires stopping at the rental office of "Friendly Rentals", about a 10 minute walk from the property. Since this name is not identified in any of the pre-trip documents, it can be hard to know you're in the right place, since it is in a large office building. Once there, it resembles a rental car check-in counter, with sometimes quite a few people in front of you, some taking a LONG time to check in. All of my previous VRBO rentals have involved a representative meeting us at the property, which is much preferable to this arrangement. In the flat there were NO instructions on anything - no manuals or descriptions of how to use the various appliances including the TV . There was no "house manual" describing not only the amenities in the flat but also nearby food markets, restaurants, etc. Zero information on how to use the many recycling trash bins and when and where to take out the trash. Again, never had a rental before that failed to include this information. Cable TV is VERY basic - no cable news channels and no premium channels of any kind. On the other hand, wi-fi was outstanding! The flat is on the fifth floor. There is a lift, but first you have to walk up 26 steps in a narrow stairwell to get to the lift! But overall, its a nice place. The location just off La Rambla but on a quite pedestrian street, is ideal, the beds are comfortable and the furniture is good.

In the middle of town

Apartments were clean and very spacious, perfect for a big group (we stayed in 4 apartments in this building). Great location, walking distance toRamblas, 5 minute walk to closest metro station, bars and restaurants around. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in he middle of town!

Cozy home

When I’m traveling I want to make sure that my accommodations are comfortable and this property definitely lived up to my expectations. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The apartments itself were conveniently located across the metro station but also within walking distance to Las Ramblas. There were restaurants and 1 min away. The washer and dryer were very convenient for laundry. Overall a cozy home to experience Barcelona!!

perfect location, just in the center

Could not have asked for a more perfect location in Barcelona. There were 8 of us and it was so convenient never had to taxi anywhere. Apartments were very well laid out for 4 couples to be comfortable. The bathrooms were impressively clean on arrival. We had wifi and a beautiful towel display in the main beds on arrival. Thank you.

This apartments are truely stunning. The apartments are furnished stylishly and modern, with good heating/AC throughout and the kitchen has everything you need. There is ample dining/lounge room and it was a pleasure for a couple of us to sit on the balcony and watch Barcelona go by on a couple of occasions. There are local mini-marts for your daily supplies, but the main location is AMAZING - less than 5 minutes walk to La Rambla. Highly recommend!

Party of 10 stayed in 2 apartments. Large spacious apartments in a very good central location in Barcelona. All the facilities that you would expect are there in the apartment. The communication was fast and effective. A lovely stay with lots of amenities around the location.

perfect location

We spent a wonderful time in Barcelona! Everything went well, the apartments are well decorated, comfortable, bright, and well arranged. There were more than enough space for our group of 12. The kitchens are fully equipped, there is even a Nespresso coffee machine, perfect for the morning coffee! Moreover, there are nice balconies which make your morning coffee even taste better! :) The communication went smoothly. The apartment is very well located, in the heart of Barcelona. Everything accessible by walk: restaurants, café, shops, we just loved the neighbor; super central and at the same time silent and safe at night. In short, I highly recommend this property, we ‘ll be back! Many thanks!

Excellent start point to discover and enjoy Barcelona. At few steps you will arrive to famous Ramblas, Boqueria Market or Plaça Real. The old town is at your fingertips (Gothic, Borne, Rival and Barceloneta). Enjoy this beautiful city!

In the heart of the city, on the edge of el Borne which is the trendy and upbeat part of the Old Town in Barcelona and the guest staying at this great apartments can be browsing through the fabulous one off boutiques in this area or choosing from all the cafes, bars and restaurants in about 3 minutes. The building is a short 1 min walk from the newly renovated Santa Catarina market, which is very much worth a visit, in one direction and about a 7 minute walk to the Gothic quarter of Barcelona which is the oldest part of the city and from there another 2 minutes to the famous La Rambla. The Barrio Gótico contains a concentration of medieval Gothic buildings only a few blocks northeast of Las Ramblas. There are plenty of cafés and bars.
