This property is absolutely breathtaking, everything about the villa, the pool and the grounds are amazing and exceeded our expectations. Our group was 9 people and the villas was big enough to accommodate us all very comfortably. The decor was very traditional which we loved. The large pool was amazing, a really good size and was perfect for just lazing around soaking up the Italian sunshine, embracing the amazing grounds with an abundance of pine trees, olive trees and palm trees, it was tranquil and simply relaxing. The view of the cathedral and sea from the villa was also spectacular. The location of the villa was also perfect, a short 10 minute drive to the port of Trani where you can find many excellent restaurants and hidden traditional treasures around the cobbled streets. We absolutely love love loved the whole experience. Special mention must go to our host Paolo, any questions we had before we arrived he instantly replied too. When we arrived he could not do enough for us. Paolo was alway on hand to help if needed, give us recommendations for places gave us an insight into the local areas and some good tips, links to places to eat and shop which was really useful. . We’d like to thank Paolo again for making us feel so welcome and making our holiday run smoothly and without any dramas.In summary I could not fault this villa and its facilities, location and 7star hospitality from the host Paolo, i hope we go again soon.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour (14 nuits) et profité des différentes plages a 10 15 minutes en voiture. La villa est très pratique et facile a vivre, le mobiliers est un vieillot, la cuisine est pratique mais le frigo un peu juste pour 7 personnes. L'air conditionné dans toutes les chambre,vraiment super.

Wunderschönes Anwesen in der Natur. Objekt genau wie in der Beschreibung, alles was benötigt wurde war vorhanden. Darüber hinaus bestand die Möglichkeit zu Grillen, es gab sowohl ein Steingrill wie ein neuer Gasgrill. Paolo war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, egal welches Problem oder Frage war immer für uns erreichbar.

We spent ten special days at Villa Gemma with knock out views of the Adriatic.

Paulo was always on hand for assistance or sage advice abou the region. The peace and solitude of the villa were exactly what the two of us were looking for, but the four bedroom could easily accommodate a larger group. We were graciously directed by Paulo to all the necessities and amenities allowing us to plan our preferred day trip agendas at our own pace. Villa Gemma has left a unique impression which we will fondly recall for years to come.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette maison très bien équipée, très spacieuse, ideale pour 2 famiĺles. Elle est proche de toutes commodités et très bien pour visiter les Pouilles (Alberobello, Polignano a mare, Matera....). La plage que avons préféré est celle de Barletta située à 15 mn en voiture de la maison. Le propriétaire Paolo nous a très bien reçu.

Villa mit Wohlfühlcharakter

Wir haben im August mit 2 Familien (insgesamt 7 Personen) 2 wunderbare Wochen in der Villa Gemma verbracht. Das Haus, die Terrassen und der Garten sind wahnsinnig großzügig und jeder hatte dadurch seine Rückzugsmöglichkeit. Und der Blick auf Trani von der vorderen Terrasse war umwerfend. Paolo ist ein immer hilfsbereiter und super netter Vermieter und stand bei Tag und Nacht mit Tipps und Hilfe zur Verfügung. Vielen Dank nochmal Paolo. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hingehen....

Riesengroß und sehr schön

Zuerst möchte ich erwähnen , daß Paolo ein sehr netter , immer freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber war . Obwohl wir ihn sicherlich oft genervt haben wegen der Alarmanlage !!!! Die Villa war bei eintreffen sehr sauber und gepflegt . Es gibt dort unendlich viel Platz und wir haben tolle Abende auf der hinteren Terasse verbracht . ( es gibt 2 Dachterrassen und eine Vordere Terasse ). Ich hoffe Paolo wird es mir verzeihen , aber die Zufahrt bis vor dem Tor der Villa ist katastrophal, Schlaglöcher über Schlaglöcher. Die Villa selbst bräuchte unbedingt Fliegenetze vor den Fenstern . Die Mücken haben uns jede Nacht gequält. Und die Schlafzimmer bräuchten unbedingt eine Klimaanlage, trotz 2 Ventilatoren war es wahnsinnig heiss im Schlafzimmer. Aber ich muss erwähnen , hätten wir es Paolo rechtzeitig mitgeteilt, hätte er sicherlich alles versucht , um uns zu helfen .

Un séjour de rêve !!

Cette maison est un havre de paix ! Elle est très bien située à 3 kms du centre de Trani (vous pouvez vous y rendre à pieds!) et est aussi dans un endroit très au calme. Son état était impeccable, la maison est spacieuse et Paolo, le propriétaire a été très sympathique et de très bons conseils. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit merveilleux où vous allez passer un séjour inoubliable !

Wundervolle Villa

Wir waren im August zu zehnt Gäste dieser wundervollen Villa Gemma. Sie liegt idyllisch zwischen den Olivenhainen und der große Garten ist wunderbar angelegt und fasziniert mit atemberaubenden Palmen, Oliven-, Zitronen- und Orangenbäumen. Die Villa ist vollendet ausgestattet, liebevoll eingerichtet und befindet sich in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Bilder hier sind zwar sehr schön, können aber den Charme der Villa nicht ganz einfachen. In Echt ist sie noch viel schöner. Paolo ist ein zuvorkommender, vollendeter Gentleman. Sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns wertvolle Tipps über Restaurants und sonstige Attraktionen gegeben. Selbst als wir in mitten in der Nacht telefonisch erreichen musste, weil wir ihn als Übersetzer in der Klinik brauchten war er erreichbar. Ich kann die Villa von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles, lieber Paolo!

fantastic villa

We have just returned from a fantastic,memorable week at Villa Gemma. The owner Paolo is a true gentleman! On arriving we got a bit confused with directions and at 12am he came out to meet us. There was,a lovely welcome basket of local olive oil, biscuits, pasta sauce and wine and also 6 large bottles of water in the fridge. The villa itself was beautiful. It was furnished with traditional furniture and very tastefully decorated. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us with 4 large double rooms and 3 bathrooms. The grounds that the villa sits in are very well kept and there is a gas bbq and a traditional pizza oven on the rear terrace. As the weather was unseasonably hot (38 degrees) most days, air- conditioning would have been nice, but there were floor standing fans for each bedroom. There is also a resident cat that we named Frank! He doesn't belong to the villa but I think he just craved a bit of attention and was there to greet us every morning and evening! During our stay we managed to get a parking ticket and had trouble with the instructions (in Italian) on how to pay it. I text Paolo and he graciously came to our rescue and helped us to sort it out. A really genuine and lovely guy. If you are thinking of holidaying in the Puglia region of Italy, then please do yourself a favour and book Villa Gemma. You will not be disappointed!

Un écrin dans la verdure surplombant la mer !

Sécurité et beauté, un havre de paix qui devient un lieu convivial pour accueillir. Les nombreuses terrasses permettent de circuler sans jamais se gêner et chaque coin offre une atmosphère différente. Nous avons reçu de nombreux amis italiens lors d'une grande fête de famille, cette maison permet à tous d'une part de créer l'étonnement , et d'autre part de s'y adapter merveilleusement quelque soit son âge, enfants, jeunes et personnes plus âgées, créant des angles de vues différents. En ce qui concerne la literie, la propreté ,tout est parfait. Sans aucun doute le propriétaire y est pour quelque chose: accueillant, disponible, discret et trés concis. Une maison à l'image de Paolo ! C'est la Dolce Vita dans les Pouilles , cette merveilleuse région pas encore abîmée par le tourisme de masse ...! Villa Gemma est un coup de coeur . Je la recommande !

Einfach herrlich!

Ein großzügiges Haus in wunderschönem Anwesen. Umgeben von Oliven-, Zitronen- und Orangenbäumen. Von mehreren Terrassen, auch vom Dach, blickt man auf Trani und das Meer. Zahlreiche gut modernisierte Bäder machen den Aufenthalt auch für größere Gruppen komfortabel. Hinter dem Haus sitzt man sonnig und kann grillen. Für Kinder ist im Gelände unendlich viel Platz zum Spielen. Einfach herrlich!

Great Experience

The Villa Gemma was a great place for two families to spend a holiday. Quiet, natural, and relaxing- but close enough to Trani and Bari to make day trips. We appreciated Paolo- he hosted us like a member of his own family. I would recommend this Villa for anyone who seeks to decompress from busy urban life for a week or two. Lovely Villa!

We were a large family group of nine who stayed in villa Gemma in June/July. The villa was everything we had hoped for and was very spacious and well equipped. There were large grounds and a lovely view from the roof of Trani, the nearest town about 2 miles away. The house had wifi and satellite TV but did not have air conditioning. A car with sat nav is a must for getting around. Paolo was very professional flexible and helpful, and spent lots of time showing us around on our arrival. Would definitely recommend this villa as a base for exploring the area.

La vue sur Trani est imprenable avec la cathédrale et la mer adriatique en arrière plan. La maison est spacieuse, avec toutes les commodités. Paolo et Ottilia sont d'une disponibilité et d'une gentillesse extrême : Du panier de bienvenue aux conseils précieux qu'ils nous ont prodigués tout au long de notre séjour, tout est fait pour passer des moments inoubliables. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans la merveilleuse maison de Paolo et Ottilia à Trani. Cette maison est absolument parfaite; La description de la maison, faite par le propriétaire est en dessous de la vérité; Conçue, meublée et décorée avec goût et délicatesse, la Villa Gemma est le lieu idéal pour découvrir les Pouilles. Dans cette maison, il ne manque rien, les literies sont très confortables, les chambres personnalisées (dont deux avec salle de bains), la cuisine (entièrement équipée), le salon et la salle de séjour sont spacieux, parfaitement adaptés pour recevoir un groupe important ; les terrasses et le jardin très appréciés par notre groupe d'amis au petit déjeuner et à l'apéritif. Il y a même un premier étage avec terrasse offrant une vue superbe sur la campagne environnante. Toute la maison est d'une propreté irréprochable. La vue sur Trani est superbe. Et que dire de l'accueil de Paolo !. Il est ponctuel, prévenant, disponible, clair dans ses explications et extrêmement sympathique. La Villa Gemma restera pour nous y un moment inoubliable de notre séjour.

Stunning!!

This property is absolutely stunning. Words cannot describe the surrounding beauty. We spent a week at the villa and enjoyed every minute. Very good location in regards to going into town, beach and sightseeing. Very well kept property and you can see the love put into this home by the sophisticated décor.
