Lovely and clean,beautiful views across the bay and only a 10 minute walk into town which has everything you need and a glorious sandy beach...loved it.

Apartment not clean as could be no washing machine 1 toilet roll left for week hard towels bathroom old shower screen dirty everywhere could do with thorough clean described to me as walkable to place or 3mins in taxi not the case difficult walk taxi 10pounds outside of property could do with clean on passage stairs leading to overall poor and not what was expected for paying nearly 800 pounds for week first time with vrbo also

Fabulous location

The apartment is well located and in easy walking distance to the main shopping area in East Looe. On arrival there was a mix up with the towels but this was sorted out very quickly. The kitchen lacked enough cutlery and dishes to enable the dishwasher to be fully filled before use but otherwise functioned well. The view from the lounge window was ever changing with the swiftly changing tides and always relaxing and interesting. I hope to stay again if when I return to the UK.

Looe

I love Looe & have stayed in other apartments within rock towers and have always found them to be perfect, unfortunately no.7 was very tired looking not as clean as it should be & bed very uncomfortable that resulted me sleeping on settee! I feel a washing machine would be more useful than a dishwasher!

Beautiful Sea View in Cornwall, basic accommodation

Very basic apartment, needs a good cleaning, towels and linen are nowhere near luxury, towels are old and do not even match. Main bedroom has nice bed, other two twin beds are not very comfortable for adults, Large burner on stove does not work, so if planning on cooking any meals, plan around that. No bath mat or tea towels, no garbage bags, or toilet paper, bring everything! One major disappointment is that from the description of Deck/Patio one would assume you had one, but you do not. All of the outside patio space belongs to other apartments and you will have no access. The price reflects these issues but the description is misleading, however the view (from the window) is spectacular!

Séjour très confortable

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce logement confortable et cosy offrant une super vue et un emplacement privilégié, avec parking. L’hôte a été très réactif quand nous avons manqué de certains équipements. L’appartement aurait besoin d’un léger rafraîchissement (notamment la moquette) et de rangements dans la salle de bain, mais tout est là pour passer un bon séjour.

Needs modernising!!

Great location however the accommodation didn’t live up to expectations. The bed covers smelt damp and didn’t fasten or fit the beds! There was only 1 wardrobe to fit 4 people’s clothes in . Hardly any clothes storage in the second bedroom. The towels also smelt damp like they hadn’t been dried properly. In desperate need of updating as have found since other apartments in the same block that look far more well cared for . Such a shame great location !!

Cosy Apartment

We found the apartment to be comfortable and in a good position to enjoy all that Looe has to offer, The view over the beach was excellent. Our only niggle was that the TV reception (freeview) was poor at times although this did not spoil our holiday which we really enjoyed.

Initial Impression

We entered the property to find the previous occupants bagged up rubbish and bagged up towels and bed linen in the hall of the property. It was not removed until we telephoned the caretaker the next morning. In this time of Corona 19 this is totally unacceptable and the caretaker was made aware of this. He made no apology and just said it was an oversight. Further inspection of the toilet showed very inadequate cleaning. For the price being charged for this property you can find better in the market place

Our stay in Looe

We had a fabulous weeks stay in this apartment. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there. The view from the lounge was a beautiful site to wake up to each morning. We both enjoyed the location as it was very well situated to visit the lovely shops in Looe. A trip on the Looe valley line is a must!

Top Lage mit traumhafter Aussicht

Die Lage und die Aussicht aus dem Appartment sind absoult Top!! Die Wegbeschreibung entspricht der Tatsache..es war alles leicht zu finden. Looe ist ein hübscher kleiner Fischerort mit schönen Geschäften und tollen Restaurants. Wenn man das Auto stehen lassen möchte, empfiehlt sich eine Wanderung auf dem South West Coast Path via Talland Bay (Zeit für einen Snack) nach Polperro. Die ca. 8 km sind wir in etwa 3 Stunden gelaufen. Für den Rückweg haben wir dann den Bus genommen, der direkt am Crumplehorn Pub in Richtung Looe fährt. Auch eine Busfahrt nach Plymouth oder eine Bahnfahrt mit der Looe Valley Line nach Liskeard können wir empfehlen. Das Appartment ist recht klein aber für 2 Personen ausreichend. Es ist alles soweit vorhanden, das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei. Wir sind nicht sehr anspruchsvoll, aber das ein oder andere könnte dennoch aufgefrischt werden. Wir waren für eine Woche hier und können es weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schöne Lage mit großartiger Sicht auf das Meer

Looe ist ein reizvoller Küstenort. Die Wohnung ist toll gelegen am Ausgang des Hafens. Sie ist nicht sehr groß, aber gut ausgestattet und vollkommen ausreichend für eine vierköpfige Familie.

We liked everything. It overlooked the harbour, had every requirement, modern, spotlessly clean, very helpfull and friendly owners and near all amenities, and on a main bus route just outsde.

Dream Cornish Vacation Spot

Along with the amazing view of the Looe harbour this unit offered a spacious, well equipped apartment for a holiday. Looe was a five minute walk with a variety of entertaining pubs, markets and historic sights as well as clean, sandy beach.

Es war unser schönster Urlaub

das Bild mit Sicht auf die Mole entspricht der tatsächlichen Sicht aus dem Wohnzimmerfenster. Die Wohnung ist schön ausgestattet, sogar WLAN war verfügbar. Die Betten sind in Ordnung und es ist fast alles da, was man braucht. Der Zugang zur Wohnung und der Parkplatz sind ausgezeichnet organisiert, es gibt sogar einen Personenaufzug. Die Ablage im Bad unter dem Spiegel war nicht vorhanden, es gab gar keine Ablagemöglichkeit im Bad, da Waschbecken, Badewanne und Wasserkasten eine angeschrägte Oberfläche haben. Insgesamt sind wir mit den Gegebenheiten gut ausgekommen und finden diese Ferienwohnung sehr empfehlenswert.

Amazing views

We had a brilliant time at our apartment. Everything was comfortable and spotless. The view from the large sitting room window was wonderful on the couple of days where we rested after all the sightseeing we did.

Looe overview :)

Free parking in Looe for a start..then a fabulous view to the east from the living room window of the beach and the banjo, with changing light and the very best people watching. Great for the three of us, a couple with one child. Clean, tidy, uncluttered, comfortable and cosy. A short walk to be able to climb the rocks and fish for crabs. Perfect.

Schöner Ausblick aber schlechter Zustand

Die Unterkunft ist schlicht - teilweise nicht sehr geplfegt aber sauber. Ich hätte drei Sterne vergeben, denn das Fenster zur Hafeneinfahrt macht vieles wett.Grund für die drastische Abwertung sind mehrere Defekte im Bad sowie an der Kaffeemaschine, die der Hausverwalter und der Vermieter trotz mehrfacher Telefonate nicht binnen einer Woche zu beheben bereit/in der Lage waren.

Wonderful view. Flat a bit tired

View from living over Looe harbour is wonderful. Would have five stars but property is a bit tired. Only one cereal bowl. Uncomfortable sofa which hadn't been hoovered properly. Towels had seen better days. No instructions as to waste disposal/recycling. Maybe a bit picky but had just come from another property which had a welcome pack, with milk, provided washing up liquid, salt, pepper etc.

Comfy stay, beautiful views

We have just come back from a week in rock towers looe. Apartment was clean & tidy on arrival. Fairly basic but had everything we needed for our stay. We spent quite a lot of evening time in the apartment because we had our 10 month old son with us, it was really relaxing watching the tide come in & go out. Beautiful views from the front room. We would go back again. We had a very enjoyable week in looe. Thank you.

Fantastic location

A lovely apartment with the best views of Looe harbor and beach. The apartment was comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed but would have been good to have an airer to dry clothes on. The only downside was that I had to hoover out the drawers in the bedrooms before I could put clothes in them and the living room carpet hadn't been hoovered properly. Apart from this we had a fantastic stay and would stay again.

Since then we have enjoyed holiday destinations as our career both in the form of cottages and of course our apartment based in Looe. We are now retired and focus on helping to achieve a first class, classic holiday destination for our customers.
We live locally to the apartment.

We started holidaying in Looe about the same time. We were bowled over by the scenery and the quaintness of the area. As we enjoyed our frequent trips down here we began to make many friends. We loved the friendliness of the people. We knew that one day, and when we retired we would live down here permanently.
We love living in a close knit community which is a novel experience and a welcome one having spent many years both working and living in a big town.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The apartment is really lovely because the area has all the amenities of a perfect Cornish destination. However, when we were visiting our apartment ( about 4 times a year ) we just loved the simplicity of going down to the quay, buying fresh fish ( caught the same day ) and we would take it back to the apartment, cook it and spend a few hours over the meal with a nice bottle of white, overlooking the sea ! This area is a wonderful destination whatever the season.
Quiet location but all amenities close by within a few minutes stroll
