The villa was just as good as advertised - excellently equipped (the second fridge was very useful), and all rooms were clean on arrival. The property was very private but close enough to walk into Carvoeiro - we did get taxis in at about 4 a ride, which were readily available.

This is our second time staying at Casa Luessa - once back in 2022 and this time for two weeks in July 2026.The villa has wonderful character and charm with beautiful gardens and a well maintained pool area. The well established planting around the villa gives it a really historic and authentic feel. We were very lucky to witness the flowering of the Queen of the Night back in 2022 and again this year in 2026.The cleaning service was excellent and the communications from the company who manage the villa were very friendly and extremely helpful. This is an excellent villa and we will definitely be staying again in the near future.

Location was great, just a 20 min. walk to Carvoeiro. Quiet surroundings.Pool heating, for which we paid extra, was perfect.Plenty of cutlery and crockery. Very grateful for all the basic necessities which were provided for us upon our arrival.Did not manage to use the dishwasher and there were no instructions. The UK tv seemed to have been blocked and was therefore not available. We had a lovely stay at Casa Luessa

We had the best time staying here. Location is great and we could easily walk into the town.Communication was very easy, and we were able to check in early. We were 2 families staying here with 4 young children and the pool was perfect- we spent a lot of time enjoying it! It was well equipped with everything we needed and we didn’t expect it to be cleaned during our stay! We would love to stay here again :)

Great stay for families

We had a lovely time at the villa, it was very well equipped and plenty of room to spread out. We really enjoyed using the pool and having the water heated makes a great difference. The property was really clean and tidy, and we would definitely recommend a stay here. Plenty of good bars and restaurants in the local town- about a 20minute walk.

We discovered this beautiful holiday home completely by chance while searching online, and from the moment we saw it, it seemed to have everything we could possibly hope for. When we arrived, we quickly realised that it was perhaps even better in real life. The house is absolutely lovely, with beautiful and comfortable bedrooms, a wonderful terrace, and a fantastic swimming pool where we spent many happy hours. The location is also perfect: peaceful, yet close to the village and with supermarkets just a short distance away.We made some truly wonderful memories here, and this house became a very special part of our holiday. We would absolutely love to return and stay here again in the future. If we had to mention one small point for improvement, it would be the swimming pool. The roots from the surrounding trees seem to find their way everywhere, and as a result, a few tiles in the pool have started to come loose. Some of the exposed edges can be quite sharp when you brush against them with your feet, so this is something that would be worth repairing.Apart from that, our stay was simply wonderful. The lady who helped around the house was incredibly kind and lovely, and the house itself really felt like a dream come true.We can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable holiday.Thank you for a wonderful stay and all the memories we made here. Hopefully, we’ll be back again soon!

Fantastic Villa

The villa gave us loads of space both inside and out. My favourite being the outside space, especially the sunsets from the rooftop. Lots of great restaurants a short walk away. We used local taxis for transfers and shopping, otherwise we walked everywhere.

Perfect holiday getaway

The villa is set in beautiful gardens, surrounded by some spectacular flowers. Excellent sized pool, perfect setting for a holiday. Spacious villa with great amenities. Plenty of space for 4 adults, bonus of a bathroom each! The walk to town is about 15 /20 mins, although plenty of taxi’s if you don’t want to walk back.? Had the most glorious time, would highly recommend.

Another great holiday!

This is a villa that has everything that we want! Three excellent en-suite bedrooms plus one with a separate bathroom. Comfortable lounge and dining area and a well stocked kitchen with two fridges, plus washing facilities. There is also a well stocked library which our 17 year old granddaughter took advantage of. Add to this an excellent swimming pool and outdoor area and close proximity to the town, supermarkets and golf and you can see why we are regulars at the villa!

Another great stay at our favourite villa

So why do we keep coming back? 1. It is a beautiful villa which is kept immaculately clean by the excellent maid 2. Great position for beaches, golf, water parks, Zoo Marine, supermarkets, restaurants, shopping etc 3. So it is great for families of all ages 4. Heated swimming pool so late night dips 5. Excellent facilities in the villa itself Would we go again? You bet, as everyone loves it

Another brilliant stay!

We enjoyed our stay so much in 2017 that we came again this year. The villa has everything needed for a great holiday for ten of us including 4 children, 2 of whom were under 3. The gated pool is particularly good for keeping young children safe. Having two fridges in the kitchen is also really useful (keeps the wine and beer cool!) The 4 bedrooms are all air conditioned and the maid keeps the whole villa very clean and changes towels and bedding regularly. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we look forward to visiting again

Another visit to a marvellous villa !

This is the third time that we have rented this villa - that shows how much we love it. The facilities are excellent, the villa is immaculate as are the gardens and the pool area (with table tennis table). Two large fridges and a freezer are particularly useful, and the newly updated bathroom is very nice. There are excellent restaurants within a couple of minutes drive and three supermarkets within less than ten minutes drive Carvoeiro is also less than ten minutes drive though parking was more difficult this year. Our party had grandparents, four further adults and children ranging from 18 months to 12 years old and we all love staying at this villa.
