Le Prè is a lovely old property with plenty of room. It was perfect for our family of 3 generations, offering three separate areas for privacy, all joining in the communal courtyard. The pool was great fun with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The property was in a very quiet, secluded area, about 20 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. It would have been nice if there was a shop/ bakery within walking distance for those delicious croissants or pastries for breakfast. All in all we had a fabulous holiday.

Great accommodation for two families.

We had a great week with two families in the house. It is ideal for that. The house has nice places for common areas but you also have your own place to sleep and use a bathroom as a family. Swimming pool is ideal. Large and clean. Owner was also very hospitable. It iwas a warm week so we could see less of the surroundings.

We had a wonderful time at this house. The layout was perfect for our party as we had 2 families and a mixture or children and adults. Everyone had their own space and we able to socialise as a large group in the courtyard, by the pool and in the, very impressive, lounge/reception room. The kitchen is great for cooking/socialising in also. Tim was available and repsonded quickly to our messages. We will definitely consider this gouse again when planning our next holiday to France.

50th birthday fun

We travelled as nine friends to celebrate my 50th birthday and fell in love with Le Pre and the village. The property had everything we needed for a wonderful week in the sun. We enjoyed the pool (which is a sun trap) and made full use of the equipped kitchen to cater for all of us for the week. The local bar was a real treasure and only a few steps from the property. We enjoyed BBQs and snooker, table tennis and just generally making wonderful memories.

Ralphs June 2024

We had a really lovely two week stay at the property with extended family and thoroughly enjoyed the house and exploring the surrounding area. There were several areas of cleaning and maintenance the property would significantly benefit from which we are going to address with the owner on private feedback as it would be unfair for a public review.

Great for a big family

13 of us stayed in this lovely big farmhouse and enjoyed the abundant space and amenities. The pool and surrounding area is excellent and safely lockable when not in use so good if you have young children. The kitchen is well appointed and the rooms very comfortable to sleep in, even without air conditioning. The property is remote so a car is an essential, though supermarkets are only ten minutes drive. Tim was very friendly and available, but gave us space to enjoy the property as our own home for the duration of the stay which was appreciated.

Large country property ideal for multi generational fun and family reunions

Nestled in picturesque Perigourdine countryside, Le Pré comprises three nearly independent cottages enclosing a secure, sun kissed courtyard, with a large field behind the accommodation, off road parking for several cars, and an enclosed and private swimming pool. Double height living room with full size billiards table, table tennis outside and table football complete the facilities. Tim and Claudia are attentive and good communicators. Strongly recommended.

An absolute gem!

Delightful hosts, super quick to respond to our questions. Nothing was too much trouble for them! A lovingly restored house which gave our party of 12 enough space to spread out while still being together as a family, which was vital to us. The house easily accommodated us all with room to spare and, even more, had a large oven with very large cooking pots , plenty of fridge and freezer space. The large grounds allowed the more energetic of us to explore and the swimming pool was wonderful with plenty of loungers. Tim kept the pool super clean and it was great to bump into him at times to pick his brains on the surrounding area. We would highly recommend this beautiful home, situated in a very quiet rural area but close enough to places of interest and the all important boulangerie for those breakfast croissants!

Quiet village location, ideally placed for west Perigord

Plenty of space for family of 10. Well equipped, lovely pool area, lots of places to either mix together or have your own space. Off road parking for 3/4 cars inside gates. Loved the atmosphere of this property. Centrally based between Bergerac & Perigueux. Only 10/15 mins drive to hypermarket/bakery. Great choice of restaurants locally too. Recommend l'Petite Auberge near Vergt for authentic french lunch and Le Rossignol, both within 10 mins drive.

Yannick and family were very welcome and we´re happy that they had a good time. How fortunate that we have the sun to make us happy. The strength of the WiFi is susceptible to the thick stone walls, sorry. Throughout our 20 years of letting we were given to understand that privacy is what our guests valued, so we didn´t become a fixture....Tim cleaned the pool every second morning and would have been only too happy to have a chat. The barbecue has been placed with much consideration for the security of the building, to avoid possible burning charcoals in the courtyard!
