One thing after another
First I’ll say the host was very communicative before and mostly during until the end.
Unfortunately, it was not a smooth stay and not quite as advertised. It started with us having a broken (inoperable toilet in a bathroom that smelled so bad we couldn’t stand to shower. The owner apologized and even compensated us. Then when we were finally able to shower the door was broken so water would get everywhere, the window would not close. The air conditioning was broken so it was miserably hot and I had a 1 year old and a 3 year old. They would wake up crying from being uncomfortable. I should have known something wasn’t right because there were so many fans.
Minor annoyance, only like 1 outlet per room so it was use the fan or charge my phone.
The final straw was when the hot water heater broke in our other unit (we booked 2) so now 6 adults and 3 kids all had to use 1 shower or shower in COLD water.
We reached out to the owner because this is a lot to endure on vacation and not as advertised to pay the amount we payed. They said since the compensates is for the toilet that was it. Smh I would not recommend honestly.
