We loved our stay at this home. It is a walled-in oasis in the center of Graveson, a beautiful little town. The home is charming. It was eclectically and artfully decorated, filled with interesting pieces of furniture and books to flip through. There was plenty of room for our party of 7 adults and 4 children. The Wifi was reliable and fast. The washer and dryer worked great. The kitchen was well-supplied. The pool was heated as promised and was very clean. Pool toys were a big plus - the kids loved it. The outdoor space was an absolute dream, full of fragrant flowers and shady trees. We loved eating on the patio every evening.
The home was built in 1724, so naturally it had some quirks. The floors and nooks and crannies could have been a bit cleaner. Several of the toilet rooms were fully carpeted, which did not seem hygienic. And there was only one shower that would reliably work and run hot (there were, however, several tubs with shower wands). A lovely woman did come to clean, make beds, etc. every day, which was unexpected and very nice.
The location couldn't be more perfect. There is a bakery next door for fresh pastries every morning and a large grocery store right down the street. Graveson is very central, and we found it an ideal jumping-off spot for Avignon, the Pont du Gard, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, St. Remy, Baux de Provence, and the coast.
In short, absolutely wonderful, highly recommend!
