In the heart of Provence, between Avignon and Carpentras, along the Sorgue river and on the edge of the village, stands the Moulin Vieux.

The old stones of this ancient bastide will seduce you. The fitness trail which adjoins the mill and runs along the river invites you to take a walk or jog. The rooms are carefully decorated with high-end quality bedding and walk-in showers.

A beautiful house, very well equipped and in a good location for accessing sites and countryside. Claude and Sylviane were excellent and experienced hosts who went out if their way to make sure everything was good for us. Our family had a really lovely time staying in the Old Mill. A good size swimming pool and spacious flat garden.

We had the most fantastic stay. Claude and Sylviane were the best hosts we could have hoped for, and they stopped at nothing to make our holiday memorable. The property itself is exceptional, well maintained and felt really spacey even with the 14 people we visited with! The outdoor kitchen and pool area was where we spent most of our time, which was great day and night. Everything is exceptionally well equipped too, which made life easier.In short, one of the best stays we've ever had and would not hesitate in recommending to anyone.

Great Provence Property!

Our entire family of 10 stayed here for 12 days. It was a fantastic property! Claude and Sylviane were perfect hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We even had their son Alex, who is a local chef, prepare dinner for our group one night - outstanding! This was a great location for touring Provenance.

Great property and excellent hosts

A fantastic property with great facilities. Claude and Sylviane were so welcoming and helpful. Brilliant hosts. The kids loved the pool and all the games. The outdoor kitchen area was perfect. Location is good, an easy walk to the town for shops and lots to do in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at The Old Mill. Claude and Sylviane were very welcoming hosts. We were a large family group of 15 and there was plenty of space for us comfortably. The property was clean and well presented. The two kitchens, were extremely well stocked with everything a big group needs for a self catering holiday. There was no shortage of crockery, cutlery, pans, bowls and serving dishes, condiments, herbs and spices and so on.We spent most of our time in and around the pool and the adjacent outside kitchen area where we had access to our drinks in the large American style fridge/freezer. Here there was also a barbecue, electric hob and an air fryer. This is a covered dining area with two large dining tables and we spent many an hour here each day for lunch and relaxing in the warm evenings playing games.We have stayed in many holiday homes abroad and this was by far the best equipped.We played a lot of table tennis, boules, badminton, basketball and cricket. On one evening Claude’s son who is a professional chef came an cooked excellent meal for us. What a treat!We visited in the last two weeks of August and were disappointed to find that no restaurants in the village were open as they had all closed for their own holidays!

Perfect week in a beautiful villa

This spacious, beautiful villa was in the perfect location for our family holiday. Claude and Sylviane were lovely and very welcoming when we arrived, they gave us great tips and advice for our stay. Everything we needed was available and we all had a fantastic holiday.

Fourteen of us spent a fabulous week in Le Moulin Vieux. It was well equipped inside and out, cool inside during some very hot days, had a great swimming pool and plenty of outdoor space. Claude and Sylviane were very welcoming.

Fantastic stay at the old mill

Claude and Sylviane were great hosts, very welcoming, attentive and helpful. They wanted to make sure you had everything you needed even buying paddle pools for the baby. The villa was beautiful, well equipped and safe. It was very close to the supermarket, bakery and train station, all of which were in walking distance. Plenty of games to play in the villa for a family and plenty of places to sit if you need a quiet place. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for a large family

This property is beautiful and spacious. The pool is wonderful. Our grandchildren really enjoyed it. There are basically 2 kitchens, one inside and one outside - all very convenient. We recommend this property. It is especially comfortable for a large, multi-generational family

A fantastic week in a great villa!

We spent a lovely week with our extended family of 16 people in the great mansion of Claude & Sylviane. The welcome was tremendous, everything was spotless and well-prepared. Everything one needs was present in the house abundantly, it was even better than the pictures. Recommendable with five stars!

A truly amazing spot.

The location was very central,the breakfast each morning was delicious with fresh baked goods,accommodations were very private and comfortable and the outdoor area with the pool was perfect for happy hours and relaxing. But best of all were the owners Claude and Sylviane who were so helpful in planning our ventures and making our stay an unforgetable experience. A perfect vacation. Connie and Dave Doherty

Great house

We loves the Outlook kitchen and the pool. It was very private, the beds Werge great and beautiful bedrooms. Lots og kitchenware for 15 people. Cozy livingroom. We could walk to the village. We loved it, the owners were very kind and helpful.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Our group had a wonderful experience at the villa. Claude and Sylvianne were so caring and helpful. We were welcomed by Claude and offered assistance that was above and beyond what we could imagine. The villa is light and lovely. Our thanks to our hosts and to VRBO. We will be back.

A Perfect Holiday

We were a large family, over three generations and with small children, and Le vieux Moulin was the perfect house for us. Most of the bedrooms were spacious, with their own bathrooms and air-conditioning and there was a marvellous outdoor area near the pool, equipped with enough crockery and cutlery for an army. The house is well situated to amenities and within striking distance of attractions.Claude and Sylviane were very welcoming and I would not hesitate to recommend Le Vieux Moulin.

Great vacation

Dear Claude and Sylvaine, Thank you for being such a good host and letting us stay at your wonderful house, Moulin Vieux. The house was fully equipped and perfect for a big family vacation. It was only a short walk to the grocery store, the bakery (Calvino with very tasty bread) and the train station. We enjoyed every minute of our stay even though the temperature was way above 40 degrees, lucky for us that we could cool down in the pool. Regard Best The family of 10 from Sweden

Wonderful Stay at the COMH

Our hosts were wonderful over the entire three week stay. They were attentive to our every need/want. They were close, but not too close. All my guests were welcome and comfortable during our stay were we saw three groups of family and friends come for a week at a time. The charming old mill house, that we call COMH, was centrally located with easy access to Avignon and the rest of Provence. My only sadness is our time came to an end and we needed to say “au revoir” to our host, and new friends in Provence.

Relaxing week in Vaucluse

The property was spacious with all the commodities, for cooking, washing, leisure, and storage. Some of my friends worked from home during there stay and internet was sufficient, although not as good in every single room. The supermarket is at walking distance, perfect for supplies. And many touristic areas are writhing driving distance (I did Avignon, pont du gard, châteauneuf du pape, gordes, l’isle sur sorgue, abbaye de senanque, Uzes, and Saint Remy de Provence without problem

Le Moulin Vieux

My family and I spent a fantastic week here at the beginning of September. The house is absolutely beautiful inside and very comfortable. The outdoor area is wonderful too, with plenty of space for the children to run around and a lovely, refreshing swimming pool. There's also a magnificent, shaded, outdoor dining area for eating al fresco - perfect for those balmy late summer evenings. The surrounding area is calm and tranquil and there's a path along the river which runs close to the house, which is ideal for peaceful evening strolls. The house is well situated too for exploring all that Avignon has to offer. I can't recommend it enough and we have already re-booked for next year.

Superb accommodation in interesting area

This was the perfect villa for our large family group. The rooms were immaculate and spotlessly clean and the property is spacious and well equipped making it ideal for a party aged from 2 to 81. The hosts were helpful about the local area and very welcoming. The pool was an excellent size and we enjoyed the pétanque court and ping pong table. We had an exceptionally hot week and there is plenty of shade around the property (including shaded parking). We also benefited from air conditioned bedrooms! Day trips to Avignon, opera in Orange, Splashworld for the children and village trips and wine tasting meant there was something for everyone. A great week!

A fabulous vacation!

I love this property and its wonderful hosts! I have booked it twice with friends and we all loved the experience. The hosts are so welcoming - we had a problem with the train strike this year and had to change our date of arrival to the day prior. Claude and Sylviane were fabulous and even prepared a gastronomic feast for our arrival that evening. The Old Mill is beautiful with plenty of space, a lovely swimming pool, close to the village and a train station with quick access to Avignon. The description on the site is absolutely accurate and the property is very clean and well maintained but with old style French charm. I heartily recommend this property to my friends and family.

Magnifique!

As there were 12 of us, 3 generations of 2 families, we booked the whole house as a self-catering property, meaning we didn't get the delicious breakfasts everyone has raved about! We all agreed that this was the best holiday home we had stayed in, having everything we needed to enjoy a fabulous fortnight away. Rooms are clean, stylish and comfortable and the outside area is ideal for family relaxation and fun and games. Claude and Sylviane are a lovely, friendly, helpful couple, for whom nothing was too much trouble. They made the holiday perfect. Loads to do in the surrounding area, fantastic bakery a few minutes walk away, supermarket a few minutes further. Would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Claude and Sylviane!

Moulin Vieux is a beautiful farmhouse tucked away in the small town of Entraigues. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone without feeling cramped. The outdoor property is fantastic with a full kitchen, patios, pool, and gardens. Most of our time at the house was spent here. Claude and Sylviane are lovely, warm and inviting. They were immediately responsive from my first contact. And they were available when we reached out. In fact Claude drove my daughter and her family to the TGV station in Avignon at the last minute. And finally, to add to the atmosphere, Their son Alex is a fabulous chef who prepared two delicious dinners for us . All in all, 2 weeks of total pleasure.

Fantastic stay

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Moulin vieux. It was a wonderful place to base our exploration of southern France. The house is perfect for big families or friends vacationing together. There are plenty of space, inside and out. We were especially positively surprised by the size and standard of the rooms: many of them with their own bathroom and shower. They were beautifully furnishes and spotless clean. Two of the rooms wore though without air condition, making it a little to hot for us northerners during the highlight of the summer:) But rather than that the rooms were perfect for our needs. Sylviane and Claude are the perfect hosts. Really friendly and always very helpful. They gave good recommendations for activities and sights around the area, and wore very service minded. A big thumbs up also for their good English-skills, which made communication easy during our entire stay. Thank you for a great stay!
