Jolie location à proximité immédiate de la plage

Appartement/maison très agréable et confortable pour 7 personnes. La terrasse est l'atout majeur et fort agréable ! La piscine à partager avec les autres locations, est un peu vieillotte mais parfait pour nous car nous étions toujours seuls ! L'environnement est très calme et la plage à 5minutes est magnifique. La remise des clés a été charmante mais plus qu'expéditive... mais sinon rien à redire !

The Villa is gorgeous, super clean and well looked after. The swimming pool is lovely but just needs a bit of shade, maybe an umbrella is required for extended time at the pool. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful. Natasha is a great host, Nelly is super helpful and we loved staying here. Hope to be back again soon.

Amazing stay in Mykonos

We had an amazing experience staying in the villa. Very comfortable for 6 friends and a great service - the daily cleaning was much appreciated. Nelly picked us up from the airport and helped us to coordinate anything we needed during our stay. She made everything very easy and it was wonderful to have such a nice host available at all times to answer any questions and ensure we had an amazing trip. She gave great recommendations for restaurants/bars/beaches/activities and I would highly recommend staying in the villa for connecting to Nelly if nothing else! We were happy with access to a shared pool which we essentially had to ourselves, and a small beach just a 2 minute walk away. Despite being far from town there are nearby restaurants and beach clubs for days when we didn’t feel like venturing far. Overall a great value for money and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic home away from home in Kalo Livadi

We had the most marvelous time in Villa Ostraco! The house is situated in Kalo Livadi in walking distance to two amazing beaches, the posh Kalo Livadi beach with its almost Caribbean feel and the beach clubs Blue Marlin and Solymar in under 10 min walking distance and the small hidden Loyola Beach right in front of the house. Kalafati beach and Santa Ana are also only 5 min by car so this place is everything you need if you are looking for the perfect beach holiday. The Chora (Mykonos town) is 20 mins my car and a rental is definitely recommended. Thanks to the wonderful host Nelly we got reservations in all the cool places even on short notice. Nelly also helped us with every other question we had, she is a true angel! The other good fairy of this place is Merita who takes perfect care of the house and the laundry on a daily basis. Thanks to both of them we had an absolutely smooth holiday experience! The Villa is beautifully decorated and spacious enough to accommodate a family of six. The kitchen is very well equipped, it has enough pots, pans and cutlery for stress free cooking, a microwave, a nespresso machine and many more supplies. AC is working fine in every room. The terrace is the perfect place to chill out and the pool is really huge. It is shared with the other apartments on the compound but we honestly never encountered anybody else there. But even if some random sun seeker should drop by it wouldn’t really matter given the size of the pool and the number of sun beds available. We enjoyed this peaceful place very much! Overall this was the perfect place for our family vacation and we would definitely come back.

Amazing stay

We had such an amazing time staying in this house! Best location for families, very close to the beach, 15 minute drive to town. Merrita was an amazing housekeeper, coming every day and keeping the house neat and clean. Nelly was always at our service and recommended us amazing sites to visit.

VILLA Ostraco is fantastic. Very well positioned, absokutely clean and well equipped. A place to be.

Villa Ostraco is a part of a complex of villas portioned to become appartments and little villas for families. Location is absolutely fantastic, 300 metres far from the most VIP beach of mykonos Kalo Livadi. Views over the sea and the bay are beatiful, both from the house, the patio and the pool. The pool is shared with another villa. Staff is very kind and supportive. Nelly is available for suggestions, reservations, transfer and similar. Merida takes care of the house, cleaning and domestic Affairs. The Island is fantastic. If possible, we will come back to Mykonos and to Villa Ostraco.

Lovely Villa

We were actually upgraded from Villa Ostraco to an abutting property whose name I can't locate, but the property was beautiful. The living space was well thought out, clean and comfortable inside and out. The beds were comfortable. We spent a good deal of time at the villa, enjoying meals outside and reading by the saltwater pool. The view was spectacular! Although nights got warm inside the air conditioners did a terrific and quiet job of cooling down the villa. We visited in mid-June and the area was quiet; any music from the beach and hotel appeared to be turned off at 10:30pm. There was a small beach just a few minute walk from the villa if you didn't want to spend the day/ rent a chair at the larger beach down the road. A housekeeper came by the property daily. The manager was available and willing to help with anything we needed. The house could have been stocked with more toilet paper and paper towels. We also would have liked at least a small description of the rules of the property or suggestions, such as whether the tap water was potable, if and when the house needed to be secured, a list of grocery stores/bakeries/meat markets close by, and basic direction on the use of appliances/windows since they were quite different than what we are used to in the U.S.,etc; I also think a garden hose would have been helpful so that we could rinse our feet before going inside. We like having property information and rules available and think a small binder with such information would be helpful. Even a list of recommended beaches and restaurants- what they have to offer and why they're being recommended. A few games or decks of cards would also be a nice addition too! We had a wonderful stay at the villa and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a lovely living space.

Dream Villa

I stayed with my husband and our 10 year-old daughter at Villa Ostraco. I LOVED the place. The pictures almost underestimate the beauty of the place - the terrace is large, with an impressive view over a small blue bay; the villa is spacious- it can accommodate up to six people since it has three large bedrooms, three bathrooms, a huge living room and a rather big kitchen and a dinning room. The interior is a dance between blue and white, stone and space. The big walls and their shade cool the air so we used duvets at night. The place is clean, tidy and very cozy despite its spaciousness. The villa is somewhat far from the city of Mykonos, but it was not a problem for a number of reasons: (1) Mykonos is a fairly small island; (2) you have to have a car anyway; (3) it takes up to 20 min to get to the most famous beaches of the island as well as to the city of Mykonos; and (4) the place is quiet albeit very close to one of the most beautiful beaches - Kalo Livadi. Last but not the least - during our stay we had kind, discrete but very effective support of two women - Nelly, our “woman to go to for anything you need at Mykonos”, and Meritha, a cleaning lady whose warm and discreet presence made the villa a paradise to return to after an exciting day at the beach. Nelly is a very warm and pleasant person who was capable of resolving any problem we came up with. She was always flexible and well organized. For a reasonable fee she went shopping for us and prepared us breakfast every morning. The breakfast equaled the one in best hotels and yet it was served in a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Not to mention that Nelly was there to drive us to the airport at 4:30 am and always made sure that everything ran smoothly for us. I full-heartedly recommend both - the dream villa Ostraco and its kind hosts.

Amazing villa - bad location

Our stay at the villa was spectacular! Same as pictured. Pros: Clean, comfortable beds, bathrooms and sofas. Kitchen is superb. Host was super helpful, addresses any need, and suggests yacht trips if needed. House cleaning every day is a plus. Walking distance to Solymar/Kalo Libadi beach. Cons: Pool is not private (have to walk across the driveway to enter) and very dirty, so we couldn't use it unfortunately. Location is VERY far and inconvenient, 30 minutes away from majority of main attractions. You will definitely need a rental car as their are no taxis around. Overall, very good and thanks to the host for accommodating us!

Lovely house with a great view

We stayed in Villa Ostraco for a week in the end of July, 2017. The patio is absolutely stunning with it's view and the comfortable sofa, the perfect place to enjoy your breakfast or a drink. The rest of the house also fulfilled our expectations, the interior is fresh and the beds are comfortable. There is a pool close by which feels almost private as the area is very calm and relaxed. Nelly, who greeted us upon our arrival and showed us the house, was very accommodating and we kept contact with her all through the week as she helped us with restaurant bookings and bookings of beach clubs etc. To have her as our "personal guide" was really great and she was so nice about it too! We would, without a doubt, recommend this villa to anyone who wants to enjoy an amazing vacation on Mykonos! You will, however, need a car as it is located on the south east side of the island, but then again, you'll most likely need a car to get round anyway as the beach clubs and restaurants etc. are spread out on the island and the taxis are not at all reliable on Mykonos. We would love to come back again soon!
