Beautiful Apartment

Although we were traveling for a somber occasion, we had a wonderful experience. The apartment was very clean and nicely equipped. Our host was very easy to deal with and everything went smoothly. We were bery happy with the accommodations. Thanks Giovanni!

Rome Visit

We visited Rome to see our son who was studying there for the semester. The unit manager met us at check-in and went through everything in detail. The unit was very clean with plenty of room for two people. The location was also good as it is close to both the more popular bus stop as well as the San Pietro train station. Overall it worked out well for our visit.

Rome for a few days

The property was spacious, and had many ammenities, our stay waas excellent, the host was helpfull, communicative and offered help with other services such as transportation to and from the property.

Beautiful location and great amenities.

Luigi was a great host. He met us at the apartment and showed us around. This apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. It was located only couple blocks from the Vatican and only steps from the 64 bus. We had an amazing time I Rome.

Excellent location

We loved our stay. Giovanni was quick to respond to any questions we had and arranged pick up and drop off at the airport for us. The home was clean, lots of room and close to a bus stop (64) and the San Pietro train station. We hope to come back someday and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Wonderful Hosts!

This wonderfully located flat is stocked with everything you might need. After running around busy Rome, it was a relief at the end of the day to return to the quieter Vatican neighborhood and the cool of this old world feeling apartment. Our hosts were very gracious and welcoming.

Rome getaway.

Nice location with easy access to Vatican City, just a few minutes walk. Longer walk to the hop-on/hop-off bus which we used for two days to visit various sites, particularly old Rome with the Colosseum and the Forum. Easy access to#64 bus which we used to get to the train station for our onward journey. We were comfortable during our stay, had everything we needed in our Rome home!

Absolutely wonderful!

The apartment is lovely and spacious, centrally located, shops and grocery store a short walk away, bus stop to anywhere in Rome right down the block, and the Vatican is just a couple of blocks. Giovanni and his cousin (who met and opened the apartment up for us since Giovani was out of town) were gracious hosts. If you get the chance to stay at this lovely home you won't regret it!

Nice apartment near the Vatikan.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment where everything You could need where present. We became transfer from the Airport which Giovanni aranged and Very good presentation of the Apartment and the surrounding area from Matteo. Bus stop near by Also to Termini. Nice Balkony with a view to the top of Saint Peters church.

Fun Apartment Close to Vatican

Our whole stay was just lovely! The apartment was clean and when we arrived we were given a walk through and breakdown of how everything worked! He even gave us pointers on what sites to see and great places to eat! We even had a car service set up so we could be picked up and dropped off at the airport and the rates were really reasonable. We walked to the Vatican in literally 5 min and visited several times during our stay. It was an amazing adventure and our host made it so easy! Thanks for everything!!

Awesome apartment living, steps from the Vatican

Start your Rome vacation in style by staying at this wonderful one bedroom apartment located steps from the Vatican! We loved the location, so close to Saint Peter's and the museums of the Vatican. It's also right on one of the major bus routes so a car isn't necessary! Many restaurants and stores nearby make this an ideal location for families and couples looking for a quiet home base that is accessible to everywhere in the city. Really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. Whether it was breakfast on the terrace, or the quiet neighborhood evenings, we enjoyed every minute of our time at this residence. You will too!

This place

I don’t know all of Rome but for our first stay this place was nice. The building was secure, quiet and solid feeling. We said to ourselves, “this is the kind of place we would have gone to visit our grandmothers- when they were in their 50’s and active. “ It’s in a little neighborhood with some interesting shops and close to the bus line that you can take to other neat neighborhoods. It is spacious and cool in the summer heat. We were given thorough and thoughtful information at check-in that helped us guide ourselves through Rome. Thank you so much to our hosts. We want to come back!

Wonderful Stay, Made the Trip Easy

Giovanni was incredibly communicative and helpful with getting my wife and me to this apartment on our honeymoon. He set up a driver for us to pick us up right from the airport exit to the apartment. The price was the same as a normal city taxi, but to have someone with your name on your sign when you arrive at FCO is reassuring and helpful. We met his cousin, Matteo, when our drivers dropped us off, and he was so kind and helpful in preparing us for the stay and to explore Rome. A very secure and safe building and neighborhood. It is in a quieter part of Rome but is only a 3 minute walk from the Vatican. Easy to get to the Vatican since there is a tunnel underneath the only street you need to cross. In the area underneath, we recommend Ristorante Dai Miei for authentic Roman food and Pizza Ricca Roma for cheaper but good food. The 64 bus ticket can be purchased any time at the supermarket at the bus stop, and takes you through downtown all the way to Roma Termini as the final stop which was very convenient when we traveled to the train station at the end of our stay. Could not recommend Giovanni and his apartment enough, especially if you want easy access to the Vatican!

Well Situated for Visiting the Vatican

We had a very comfortable two week stay in this apartment in May. It provided us with a lovely home base for our explorations in the city. There are some excellent restaurants in the neighborhood (Osteria Padi, Pizzeria Divina) and a supermarket (Carrefour) just up the street. There is a taxi stand just down the block to get to further away destinations in Rome, and it’s in easy walking distance to the Roma San Pietro train station. It only costs 1€ to take the train from San Pietro to Termini, cheaper than taxi. We went to the Vatican Museum on Friday at noon, and there was no line for tickets at all. If you didn’t get your tickets ahead of time, try Friday at noon. Don’t believe the hawkers telling you the line is 3 hours long. Check it yourself first. The apartment has a good kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals. The living room is very comfortable for reading and relaxing. The bed is also comfortable. We slept well here. We loved the marble and stone floors throughout. The building itself is solid and well maintained. The apartment on the 4th floor, but there is an elevator which works well, and is right next to the apartment, so very convenient. We did a lot of walking from this apartment. Piazza Navona is about 2km away, as is Campo de Fiori. Once you get to the other side of the Tiber, your transport options open up. We did not use any buses or trams on this trip, but did ride the Metro, and take taxis, when walking got to be too much. Overall we had a wonderful stay at this apartment and would stay there again. Its an excellent value if you are visiting the Vatican area.

Der Empfang an der Wohnung war sehr freundlich und nett. Neben allen Informationen zur Wohnung, gab es viele hilfreiche Tipps zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Transportmöglichkeiten.Die Lage mit direkter Nähe zum Petersplatz war perfekt für uns. Bushaltestelle fast vor der Haustür hat uns sehr gefallen.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Bezaubernde, zentral gelegene Location

Wir wurden sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Die Wohnung liegt wunderbar zentral und strahlt einen bezaubernden, römischen Charme aus mit Blick auf die Kuppel des Petersdoms.. Es ist alles in der Wohnung vorhanden und fürsorglich vorbereitet, was man braucht oder brauchen könnte. Für alle Eventualitäten ist Vorsorge getroffen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und individuell eingerichtet. Ausreichend Handtücher im Badezimmer und Küche. Bei jedem Kontakt, telefonisch, schriftlich oder persönlich wurde auf uns eingegangen und umgehende Hilfe und Lösung zuteil. Auch Empfehlungen und Hinweise für römische Sehenswürdigkeiten, Wegbeschreibungen und logistische und kulinarische Tipps wurden mit Zeit und Interesse zur Verfügung gestellt. Alles sehr unkompliziert und empfehlenswert Wir durften z. Bsp. unsere Koffer bereits vor der vereinbarten Ankunftszeit in der Wohnung unterstellen, was uns zusätzliche Zeit für unbeschwerte Erkundung brachte. Wir würden jederzeit dieses Kleinod mit der lieben Betreuung wieder buchen.

Wonderful apartment and wonderful location.

Loved the apartment and the space it offered. Very comfortable for our stay. Location was great, a 12 min walk to the Vatican and easy access to all the main sites. Loved being able to escape the crowds of people and return to a quiet street with plenty of excellent restaurants, cafes and groceries nearby. Will definitely recommend and hope to return again. Thank you Giovanni for a wonderful stay in Rome!!

Wonderful location, wonderful host

We so enjoyed our stay as it was so close to everywhere we wanted to visit, easy transportation, and the communication with Giovanni was quick and welcoming. The only recommendation I would say is that the bed was not as comfortable for us as we both need good back support. Otherwise it was absolutely wonderful :)

Wonderful stay!

Our experience, even before our stay, was excellent. Communication with Giovanni was very helpful and he was quick to respond! Matteo was very helpful when we arrived, and spent time with us to literally map out places to go. The Vatican is close - a 5 minute walk. The location of the apartment was close enough to other areas to walk, if you’re up for it! The apartment had everything we needed! We will definitely stay here again! Dianna and Pete

Easter 2022

Excellent property plenty of room and very comfortable. A 5 minute walk to the Vatican with an excellent restaurant within a 100 feet of the apartment building entrance. We had a very nice Easter dinner after attending Easter mass at the Vatican. Our host cousin Matteo let us in and gave us a lot of useful information. Plus gave us a new way of preparing Chicora. Thank you Matteo and Giovanni for making our Easter weekend one we will never forget. Another bucket list item checked off.
