Wonderful stay

We loved our stay in Es Grau. The apartment had beautiful water views and is very comfortable. Definitely recommended!

Es Grau

Great Location and large enough for 6 people. Unfortunately the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the twin beds only suitable for children not adults as my son and daughter would confirm. The Sun Loungers were not fit for use however I understand they were to be changed following our stay also the plastic furniture on the roof had not been cleaned. The location of the apartment is excellent but does have potential to be even better.

perfect bay view

The property is up 2 flights of stairs which lead into a very spacious living/dining room with full width french windows leading onto a full width sun balcony which is glazed but windows open wide, so you can enjoy the view in all weathers. The floor is pale wood laminate so everything is very light. In addition there are 3 bedrooms and a study all with built in wardrobes and drawers. The kitchen is small but adequate. There are 2 bathrooms with bath and shower and a utility space in the stairwell of the stairs up to the roof terrace which provides light to the middle of the flat. The roof terrace is large with commanding views and a drying line. Es Grau is small, there is an adequate mini market (surprisingly large for the size of Es Grau), 1 bar, 2 bar/restaurants (and a restaurant which was shut in late October) and a kayak hire, all very close. There is a sheltered beach with extensive shallow waters and a small harbour/boat mooring. The natural park (which has an inland lake) joins onto the beach with a walk by the lakeside, and the bridle path round the Menorcan coast (Cami de Cavalls) goes from either end of the village. So great for walking, swimming, canoeing, and bird-watching from the doorstep. The capital Mahon (Mao in Catalan) is about 5 miles away and has large supermarkets and food market stalls.

Localización, vistas y casa estupendas

Conocemos bastante Menorca y Es Grau es el lugar que más nos gusta como base. La casa tiene unas vistas maravillosas desde sus dos terrazas; es grande, muy cómoda, con aire acondicionado estupendo.

Vacances à Es grau

Un grand merci pour ce merveilleux séjours dans le coin de paradis d’es grau . Les mots manquent pour décrire la joie que nous ressentons après ce séjour. L’appartement est idéalement situé, spatieux et très bien agencé avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la Mer, une immense terrasse pour contempler les étoiles, une veranda qui laisse entendre le doux son du vent marin… le Petit bistrot es mol à deux pas succulent et ultra sympas, criques paradisiaques à 15 minutes à pieds, randonnées dans le parc naturel, bref on y serait bien rester une année. Merci pour tout, c’était magique !

L’appartement est très bien situé avec une vue magnifique sur la baie d’es Grau. Les chambres sont propres. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Très bonne adresse.

Schöne, geräumige, moderne Ferienwohnung mit einem sagenhaften Blick auf die Bucht.

Es Grau ist ein sehr beschaulicher Ferienort in wunderschöner Landschaft mit hervorragenden Möglichkeiten für sportliche Individualtouristen (Wandern, Schnorcheln, Seekajak uvm.) Die Ferienwohnung liegt super zentral, man kann von dort alles zu Fuß erledigen. Die riesige Fensterfront im Wohn-/Esszimmer bietet einen fantastischen Ausblick auf die schöne Bucht.

Great house, with great views to be enjoyed either inside or on the roof top terrace.

Es Grau is a great ltlle village. Our kids loved the kayaking, snorkling and fishing from rocks in the harbour. We also loved the few small buzzy restaurants with very local feel.The house is in great condition and perfect for a family of 5 or 6.
