Idyllic Hilltop Retreat

Eva’s villa is Claviers was just want we wanted on our summer holiday. We spent ours days enjoying the peace and quiet by the pool and then cooking up Provençal style meals in the super well kitted our kitchen and outside grill. Honestly, such a brilliant place. Thank you Eva!

Beautiful secluded villa in a perfect location

this villa is very private and not overlooked in any way. It is located on the side of a hill overlooking the village of Claviers. The village is just a 5 minute walk away and has some lovely restaurants and a small convenience store. The views are stunning. From the very moment we arrived there we felt at home and were very reluctant to leave.

Absolute aanrader

Prachtig huis met mooi aangelegde terrassen. Heel ruime woonkamer met complete keuken, alles in Franse stijl. Ongelofelijk uitzicht op het dorp Claviers, waar de Nederlandse film “Zomer in Frankrijk” is opgenomen. Rust, zoals je zelden nog meemaakt. Prima zwembad dat netjes wordt onderhouden. We hebben het fantastisch gehad!

Little bit of Heaven in Claviers

The villa is well located in this beautiful area of Provence. We had a 3 week very peaceful break, the villa is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The caretaker kept the pool sparklingly clean during our stay. The position of the villa commands a wonderful view over the village below but is also not overlooked and very private. A 5 minute walk down a wooded track to the village of Claviers with a small selection of restaurants, a mini supermarket and bar was lovely.

Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour reposant : la maison est bien située pour visiter la région, et à 5 minutes à pieds du petit village charmant. La piscine très agréable. Une vue magnifique de la terrasse. Simone et sa fille qui nous ont accueillies sont d"une grande gentillesse. Enfin, tout était parfait.

Schönes Haus

Der Blick ins Tal ist unglaublich schön, von der Terrasse, dem Wohnbereich und dem Hauptschlafzimmer. Der Wohnbereich ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Über die Bowle Bahn haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Man braucht nur 5 Minuten ins Dorf, da gibt es wunderbare Croissants und Baguettes und ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Ich würde nur mit 2 Kindern hinfahren, da das 2 Schlafzimmer mit Fenster und Glastür an den Wohnraum grenzt. Außerdem steht dem 2 Schlafzimmer nur die Außendusche zur Verfügung und es gibt auch Regentage - das Hauptschlafzimmer kann nur über eine Klappe vom Wohnraum geschlossen werden. Der Pool ist nichts für Schwimmer, die Sport treiben wollen, zu klein und zu wenig tief. Wir hatten Regentage und da kann man nicht Außen sitzen, weil es keine Feste Überdachung gibt, das ist Schade, weil es bleibt ja trotz Regen warm. Es riecht oft nach Kläranlage, aber das wird Eva bestimmt ändern können. Unser Gesamteindruck- wir kommen wieder 👍😊

Lovely house with a beautiful view

We had a very relaxing week at this house. Spent most of the time in the pool/taking in the view on the shaded terrace. The house is tastefully decorated and very well equipped. It’s a 5 min walk to the village which has 2 good restaurants and a nice wine bar. This is a perfect place for a couple.

Excellent séjour

la propriété a une vue exceptionnelle sur le village de Claviers. Elle est très joliment décorée et possède tout le nécessaire pour un excellent séjour. La région est magnifique. Les personnes qui nous ont remis les clés et qui assurent l'entretien de la piscine sont adorables.

Paradise in Provence

This was by far the most beautifully decorated holiday home we've ever rented. It was really a joy to stay there. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, which my husband loved as he enjoys cooking dinners. We also loved how secluded and quiet the pool was. Overall, a magical stay!

A wonderful introduction to Provence

We had been to the Riviera before but not to the “real” Provence. The Clos des Pins was very nice, and Bargemon, Callas and especially Claviers were wonderful. Merci.

Fantastic charming provence villa

Very fantastic villa with provence style and charme, wonderful view and beutyful and cozy garden environment. Very nice pool and gas barbecue. We enjoy everything 😊. There are lots off activities and sightseeing possibilities in the area. We can recommend Claviers (especially the boulangerie), Callas and Bargemon. And Gorges du Verdon. There are many nice places in the area. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday 😊.

Beautiful Getaway

Plenty of good food, nice walks, fun bike rides (bikes included). Kitchen is well-equipped but not spacious. Views are gorgeous; weather was perfect for our stay. Owner and caretaker are very responsive.

superbe maison pour passer des vacances : la vue est magnifique sur le village provençal de Claviers et les montagnes alentours, la maison est calme et très bien équipée, les literies de très bonne qualité, on est au village en 5mn à pied (boulanger, petite épicerie, restaurants...). La piscine n'est pas très grande, suffisante pour nous et très sympa avec la vue sur le village.

Amazing experience

We spend a week in Claviers and we were thoroughly pleased. Everything from Claviers to the landscape and the house itself was fantastic- the pictures doesn't do it justice. Through and through it was a great week.

Just perfect

It was in Claviers, in end of July. From the first moment we were taken by this house. It was even better than the description. We were welcomed charmingly by the caretakers. The house was clean and well equipped, in a relaxed, elegant French style. It felt like visiting friends with good taste. We enjoyed the view of Claviers every day, especially in the morning when when eating breakfast. We had a very nice dinner at Les Oliviers in Claviers. We went to Fréjus for bathing, Nice for Chagalle, Gorge du Verdon for aqua trecking, Saint Paul de Vence for Foundation Maeght/Miro, Moustiers for Notre Dame de Beauvoir and the market. We had the most wonderful vacation in this house and would like to come back. Highly recommendable.
