Eine Woche war zu wenig!

San Gimignano wurde uns empfohlen und die Ferienwohnung war ein Glücksgriff wie wir ihn besser nicht hätten greifen können. Ein wundervoller und wahnsinnig erholsamer Urlaub bei tollen Gastgebern! Die Lage ist phantastisch. Die Aussicht phenomenal. Touristen halten manchmal oben an der Straße um Fotos zu machen. In der Anlage hat man diesen Blick permanent. Schöner neuer Pool, nette Gäste und das Kochen auf Gas hatte was ursprüngliches. Wenn man genau hinhört, hört man sogar einen Esel i-a‘n. Als einzigen Tip: Anti Mücken Kerze, Stecker und Spray ;)

Everything you want in a vacation and more!

This property has spectacular views of the rolling Tuscan countryside of olive and grape vineyards, Lombardy poplars and Cypress trees. Rosa's gardens that wind through the Villa are gorgeous. After a long day of sightseeing we would return for a dip in the sculptured pool and a glass of wine on our private terrace. A ten minutes drive to picturesque San Gimignano. What more could you want!

Wir haben Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage ist traumhaft mit direktem Blick auf San Gimignano! Die Wohnung war groß genug leider etwas kalt und dunkel. Der neue Pool wird sicher super!!

Dream destination in the heart of Toscana

The place is 5 minutes to San Gimignano. The owners are very nice and friendly and the will help you with everything that you need. Rooms are very clean and nice. The pool is beautiful surrounded by a very nice garden with a great view.

An idyllic escape

In the quaint, immaculate grounds of Le Volte, we had the most restful holiday of our lives. At Le Volte The Tuscan spirit of simplicity and comfort made this holiday an unforgettable experience, we are recommending the place to our friends and family, and we'll be back!!

A very pleasant stay

We stayed here for 6 nights - it was a great little apartment in a nice complex. Pretty busy as you would expect in August. The owners are very friendly - they don't speak much English but we managed. The kitchen is very well equipped, the wifi is a bit patchy - best by the pool or out on the terrace, the shower was great and the bed very comfortable. The apartment is quite dark but in the heat it's exactly what you want - it stayed very cool! The outdoor terrace with table was nice to sit out at especially in the evening - your neighbours are quite close. Conversations can be overheard and people walk by you a lot - it's ok but not a lot of privacy when sitting outside. Friendly though, as you get to see people and say hello etc. The pool is lovely - always spare loungers and umbrellas and sometimes we got it too ourselves which was nice. All in all a very pleasant stay and reasonably priced.

A peaceful retreat

We couldn't find many reviews on this property before booking but decided to go ahead anyway. We were so happy with our weeks stay here. Le Volte is a great apartment - good size kitchen/dining room, big bedroom and bathroom. We had our own patio area and enjoyed using the kitchen to cook our evening meals (kitchen well equipped). The pool is gorgeous and you can see views of San Gimignano from the pool as well as around all of the building - it's beautiful. It is sooo peaceful also and we used to share the pool with about 4/5 other couples each time but quite often might have had it to ourselves! The owners are friendly though English is limited but they will help you out where possible. It is a great base for Florence, Sienna, Pisa and many other places but to be so close to the gorgeous medical town of San Gimignano is amazing! We would defo stay here again.

2 weeks holidays

We very much enjoyed our 2 week holiday in Le Case. Rossina was a very friendly and helpful host and the property was well located outside San Gimignano. It was so easy to make day trips to many of the tourist cities as well as touring the Chianti district. Meeting other guests on site and gathered around the pool produced a friendly environment, and Le Volte apertment we stayed in was most comfortable. I would have no concerns about recommending the property to others. Many thanks
