Just steps from the center of San Gimignano, Casa Vesta is a three-story apartment in a historic building. The accommodation includes a living room, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a guest toilet, and laundry facilities. Free Wi-Fi, home office space, smart TV, and air conditioning are available in every room. A crib and high chair are available on request. The Etruscan basement is accessible as a meditation or relaxation space. Public transport is within walking distance, and nearby you’ll find restaurants, ice cream shops, wineries, and bars perfect for breakfast. One pet is allowed. Smoking and parties or events are not permitted. Recycling bins and a card for public waste containers are provided. Further information is available on site. The property features water and electricity-saving devices. The apartment is inside the city walls, in a restricted traffic area not accessible by car. However, you can park in a public lot available for an extra fee just outside the city walls, or in paid street parking nearby. Check-in is directly at the property via self check-in, with the key available at the entrance.

Our hosts were excellent and extremely accommodating. They are associated with an excellent winery. Don’t miss the lunch and wine tasting. Our hosts helped us rent a car. The location to the parking was very convenient.

Absolutely gorgeous. Very tasteful rustic design. Hosts were extremely gracious and communicative. Town of San Gimignano is something out if ancient history. Spectacular!

Location and Charm in San Gimignano

Excellent location. Clean. Tons of charm and history. Our Host, Roberto, was very helpful and accommodating and want to thank him for making our return trip to San Gimiginano memorable. Bonus is that the host also has a winery we visited. Only drawback is we should we have stayed longer. Look forward to coming back.

Beautiful conversion of charming site

Pros: The location is great (important to know beforehand that access is restricted - walking from car park is cobbled) and home is spread over three beautiful floors with stairs - all well appointed.

Kind of a ‘lumpy’ start to checking in with a host that sort of made us feel we were putting him out - after we were clearly told that the host would assist us with our bags - especially as 1 of the 4 of us has a hip problem and limited mobility.The unit was indeed as spectacular inside as the pictures illustrated it to be, albeit with a few more steep steps. We were also under the impression it had 2 bathrooms… - it had 1.5 bathrooms with the 2nd being far away from night time needs - but we could live with that.Dust and grit… AND Construction NoiseOur major concern was the dust and dirt which covered the 2nd bedroom. We soon learned the cause, as a neighbouring unit was under complete renovation and construction, with banging, cutting and pounding that went on thru the day on May 15th and into the evening.The Evil Step/CurbUpon getting ready for bed, even though we’d (obviously) talked about it, my wife in a haste to allow or friends to get into the one bathroom on bdrm level, fell off the curb and sprained her ankle, with her arm and head hitting the hallway wall - kind of lucky she didn’t break anything.The one day brought on and off heavy rain… so it would have been REALLY nice to have been able to gain access to an umbrella or two!We informed the host of the fall, and asked if he’d be able to assist us with the luggage back out. Again, he made an issue of it saying we had not paid for that service, but given what occurred he said he would.

Antikes uriges Stadt-Haus neu renoviert.

Pros: Das Haus liegt zentral innerhalb der Stadtmauer von San Gimignano. Es wurde toll renoviert und eingerichtet, ohne seinen alten Charme zu verlieren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles picobello. Cons: Parkgebühren auf den öffentlichen Parkplätzen. Uns hat ein „Wohnraum“ mit Sofa gefehlt.
