Les Arcisは、広大な囲まれた敷地内にあるエレガントなカントリーハウスです。正式な庭園と壮大な成熟した木々のある公園、果樹園、菜園、小さなブドウ園があります。 元の建物は1700年代に遡り、ルイ14世の財務大臣コルベールの狩猟小屋でした。 この壮大な施設の静けさをリラックスして楽しむ多くの場所があります。古いイチイの木陰での長い、怠lunchなランチ。プールのそばのバーベキュー。ヒマワリと大麦の畑、公園とセレン川の向こうを一望できます。テニス、サイクリング、またはピンポンの後、テラスでイブニングドリンクを楽しんだ後、夕食前に星空の下でciの雑談を楽しみます。

Wonderful experience

A beautiful house in glorious surroundings. Wonderful amenities for mixed ages. A lovely revisit after several years and found perfect refurbishment and excellent facilities. The house is beautifully presented and the garden and grounds tranquil and delightful yet not far to go for visiting pretty towns. Highly recommended, we shall return.

Glorious Autumn Break!

The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!

Amazing Getaway in Idyllic Burgandy

We had an absolutely amazing time! This property exceeded all our expectations. Biking, Tennis, Badminton, Swimming, Local Boulangerie, fresh markets. The list is just too long to mention everything. Our family made memories for a lifetime here. We would highly recommend this property, so fabulous!!!!!

This home and property provided a perfect setting and environment for our family...gracious rooms, beautiful grounds, space to gather or work...it was a fabulous week in a lovely setting. Utter perfection!

I had the joy of staying at Chateau Les Arcis where I hosted a writer’s retreat. It couldn’t have been better! The area was perfect for long walks around the beautiful Burgundian countryside or to the nearby Auberge (which became a firm favourite!) and it was just blissful to return to a cosy fire, delicious local food and comfortable beds. I cant recommend it enough. Thank you so much for hosting us, I can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic location and home!

Our family had an incredible stay at this beautiful property. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy France’s rural Burgundy area. Close to several towns and villages, we were able to shop and go to markets but also relax in the beautiful home and grounds of the Chateau. It’s a historical home with so much character. Alison and Mike were fantastic! We especially liked waking each day to fresh bread and croissants. We will definitely be back to this magical place. It’s stolen our hearts.

Peaceful Paradise

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Les Arcis! It offered everything to do: swimming, tennis, table tennis, movies, peaceful walks on the grounds, quiet reading spots and most of all, comfort everywhere. We loved that each room offered a peaceful setting. The dining rooms were able to fit all 10 of us. The main bedroom was a beautiful retreat that we hated to leave on check-out day. Mike and Alison were gracious and answered right away when we had a question. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful, wonderful place, especially after the delightful busyness of Paris. It was not difficult to get to Les Arcis from Paris. Orly, the housekeeper, came each morning to bring us fresh croissants and baguettes and tidied the kitchen. You will love your stay at Les Arcis!

Magnifique et paisible

Une maison magnifique, avec une mention spéciale pour l'entrée, l'escalier et les salons de toute beauté. La cuisine est équipée d'un matériel nombreux et de très bonne qualité, la literie est très bonne. Terrasse et parc beaux, calmes et agréables, bref nous sommes très contents et reviendrons sûrement pendant la saison où la piscine est ouverte!

Super Xmas spent at Les Arcis

Amazing property ideal For groups. The host and caretaker were superb nothing was too much trouble. The master bedroom and en suite are fabulous as are the other bedrooms. We did not use the building in the garden but it would be great for two adults / teenagers as there is lounge space downstairs. Thank you very much for „ lending us your house“- we will be back

Fabulous country retreat

Beautiful manor with excellent amenities including pool, tennis court (with racquets), gas grill and fully equipped kitchen. Alice and Marcha were easy to work/communicate with and were committed to our having a wonderful time. Seignelay was just a few minutes away and has fantastic boulangerie as well as nice supermarket. Lots to do within 90 minutes and there are books with information about local attractions/events. Our extended family of 8 had plenty of space to spread out and we had a memorable stay.

Un cadre idyllique

Nous avons loué ce château pour un week-end en famille. Cette belle demeure est spacieuse, bien décorée et parfaitement équipée. Tout est fait pour que vous puissiez être à l'aise et vous sentir comme chez vous. Les extérieurs permettent de profiter pleinement des beaux jours (piscine, terrain de tennis, table de ping-pong, barbecue, ...). Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et remercions Alice ainsi que Marcha qui nous a accueilli chaleureusement.

We highly recommend Les Arcis. We had a wonderful family experience which we would love to repeat.

We looked forward to a very special family holiday and Les Arcis did not disappoint in any way. Set in a lovely part of France, near a supermarket, villages and surrounded by countryside, the chateau is absolutely beautiful, typically French and very tastefully decorated. Whilst it is a stately home, with elegant furniture, it is also very comfortable and it had everything our family needed. From the time we arrived we enjoyed the pool and relaxed in the sun on the poolside seating. For cooler seating we used the veranda of the sheltered Summer house and a perfect eating and barbecue area next to the Atelier, which had a fridge for cold drinks. The Atelier also had every game imaginable and a TV area with a variety of DVDs and comfy seating. There is an electronic game/TV room in the chateau too, with seating for the whole family to have a 'cinema' evening. Outside, we enjoyed walking by the river, tennis, boules and table tennis and the children made full use of the slide and swing. The garden is beautifully maintained and it was enjoyable to spend time relaxing in the peaceful orchard. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and had leisurely meals together around large family tables, in beautiful surroundings. Richard and Christine were friendly, very helpful and on-hand if we needed anything and we enjoyed meeting them. All in all, we had a wonderful experience which we would love to repeat in the future and we thoroughly recommend Les Arcis for a family holiday. Jane and family

Mooi huis met heel veel ruimte in een rustige omgeving

We hebben een week vakantie gevierd met 6 volwassen kinderen en 2 kleinkinderen. Het huis is van alle moderne gemakken voorzien, heeft een mooie en complete inrichting, maar heeft nog een authentieke uitstraling. De ruimte in en om het huis is gigantisch en er is volop vermaak voor iedereen: van een fijn zwembad met veel ligstoelen tot een kamer met tal van spelletjes en een goede tennisbaan. Een aanrader voor een familie vakantie. Wij gaan zeker nog eens terug.

French Wine Country Heaven

This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis, and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful reccomendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the Chateau allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful , private moments. Best family vacation ever.

After 24 years of living in Paris, we recently moved back to England. Chateau Les Arcis has been our family home for the last 10 years - we went down every weekend from Paris and were based there permanently during the school holidays. Now that we live in England, we would like to rent out Les Arcis for several months of the year, so that others can enjoy it, while enabling us to keep hold of our beautiful home.

Chateau Les Arcis is a very special place. People fall in love with it from the moment they arrive. There are so many great places to visit and things to do in the area but many guests prefer to stay put and enjoy the tranquility of the extensive gardens, lie by the pool or play tennis... There's no need to actually go anywhere!
At the same time as being a peaceful retreat and surrounded by history, culture and gastronomy, there are plenty of amenities nearby ranging from local shops to a large commercial centre within 15 minutes drive.
The famous caterers Festins de Bourgogne are within 10 minutes drive and they can cater for all your needs - from large dinner parties to romantic dinners for two...
