Mountain Beach Resort (MBR) is a spacious and quiet property, remote from anything commercial but close to everything you need with a vehicle (nearest Tesco store and 7-11 are around 15 minutes driving). A small local store and a bar with good food (delicious but not expensive) just minutes away on foot or ordering delivery meals over the phone is always an option if you prefer to stay behind the front gate.
We are two Hong Kong families of 9 persons, age from 16 months to 66 years old. We occupied 5 out of 8 bedrooms at MBR for 9 days in July. The hosts, Teresa and Ian, are so nice and helpful since the enquiry stage, they answered all questions and tried their best to assist so to make our vacation smooth and clumsy free. Teresa and Ian (with their friendly dog) were at the gate to welcome us upon our arrival and show us around the compound with very detail explaination on everything, from light controls to the information booklets they made for their guess.
We were left un-interruped during our stay but Ian or Teresa were just a phone call away whenever assistance was needed. We had a BBQ dinner to celebrate one of our family member’s birthday during our stay, Ian and Teresa were so nice to set up and prepared the BBQ stove for us at the pool side while we were out buying food. After our shopping and back to MBR, we simply put up the fire with the charcoal prepared and started to cook, turn on the spot lights around the pool and the music system at the bar counter... the pool side BBQ party definitely was one of the best in our memory.
MBR is a home away from home full of fun for everybody, Wifi, TV, DVD player, DVDs, swimming pool with lighting effects, Stereo with bluetooth, CDs, books, fully equipped kitchen with professional cookwears, washing and drying machine, aircon in bedroom and living room... (an very important note, every piece of equipment we had used, they were functioning. We had experience somewhere else that some listed amenities were either not in good condition or even not working).
My positive comment regarding MBR can go on and on for a lengthy essay, to conclude, explore and verify yourself, you will not be regretted. I will recomment MBR to everyone planning to go to Hua Hin or Pranburi and am sure will stay here again on my next Hua Hin trip.
