グリーンフィールドは地元の肉屋と新聞販売店があるだけでなく、テスコと鉄道の駅もある素敵な村です。
歩いて行ける距離にある素晴らしいパブや食べ物、そして絵のように美しいダブストーン貯水池や運河などの美しい散歩道もあります。
チューコテージにはキングサイズベッドがあり、ツインルームに変更できるため、4/5に対応しています。 また、二段ベッド付きの部屋。 ラウンジのソファーベッド。
ラウンジには、無料のビューと無制限のwi fiを備えた十分なサイズのテレビがあります。

We had a great stay, the property was as described the beds and chairs were very comfortable and we enjoyed the fire in the evening as the temperature dropped. The shower was decent as was the oven.There are lots of great local walks and a few pubs in the town/village which we stopped in.Our dog also had a great time, the only rule upon arriving was not to let him on the furniture which we had no issues with. Just a note re the garden, if you have a dog who's a bit of an escape artist then this property may not be suitable as the fence between our garden and the next doors was only 2 foot tall, although this wasn't an issue for us it might be useful to know for future guests. One last thing, we didn't receive the welcome pack with milk etc so we didn't bring any and had to go to the shops (tesco superstore only a 10 min walk) so if the welcome pack is no longer being offered it might be worth removing from the photos. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and thought it was brilliant value for money!

Quirky and compact little cottage

Although compact this little cottage had everything we needed for our stay. 15 min walk to the station with an hourly service into manchester. Lovely scenery and i wish we had more time to explore the area, walks etc. Parking out the front not for the feint hearted but

Property was not as described and we ultimately left two days early due to serious concerns around cleanliness, safety, and overall condition.What was advertised as a “cottage” was actually a noisy flat with occupants above, constant traffic noise, and very poor sound insulation. The property felt lived in rather than prepared for guests.Cleanliness was well below an acceptable standard — dirty oven and fridge, used kitchen sponge left behind, dust buildup, unclean towels, strong dog odour throughout, and kitchen items needing washed before use.More concerning were the safety issues, including faulty electrical wiring on a bedside lamp (which fizzed and flickered when moved) and exposed/loose electrical equipment positioned directly above the shower area.The layout was impractical for families, heating was inadequate, and multiple facilities were not functioning properly.We contacted the host immediately and received no response. We have extensive photo and video evidence of the issues raised.Unfortunately, this was not a relaxing family stay and we would not return.

Good location, clean, and quite

I enjoyed my stay; the location was perfect for me, a 15-minute walk to the train station and very close to the people I visited. Several shops are nearby, including a Tesco, and it's an easy walk along the canal into Uppermill or the Dovestone Reservoir. The place is well-equipped, clean, and quiet. My stay would have been improved if the mattress had been a little firmer.

Cosy and homely

I have really enjoyed my week here .. Cosy ,clean , lovely cottage , nice hot showers , comfy bed , wonderful view from the window and enclosed garden fir my dog . Parking at the front I just had to manoeuvre it in the parking place designated and avoiding the next door neighbours plant pots conveniently placed there 😨 I can highly recommend staying here .🤗

Short Autumn Break

Cosy, warm & comfortable cottage. Nicely furnished downstairs. Enjoyed the views & location. Food in pub 5 minute walk was good. Only negative was lack of off road parking, there was a very small space on busy road. Up to date information on local places to visit would be nice, & instructions on how things worked. Good value for money.

Downstairs satisfactory but odd smell. Parking only suitable for motorcycle. No daylight in single bedroom with bunk bed. Bathroom substandard. Smallest sink ever seen. No pressure in shower. Either scalding or freezing. Toilet no leg room. Booked for two nights but moved out after one

Cute cottage in friendly village

Pros • Good location and easy access for fell walking. • Safe enclosed gated garden for dogs (assuming won’t jump over 4’ high stone wall) • Gas-glow fire in living room. • Good internet Wi-Fi. • Good local amenities e.g. pubs, pharmacy, Tesco super store, buses. Cons • Access to main bedroom is via the only bathroom. This is probably OK for a couple with 2 small children but could be problematic with teenagers and/or non-family guests. • Box room with two bunk beds has no direct exterior window or ventilation. • Parking space used by others. Had to park across the road. • Location and access instructions inadequate. Google maps gives wrong location on main road.

I am mystified by these comments that are totally unjustified. The wifi details were on the table near the window as pointed out to the guest. The guest rang about the television saying he had done something wrong and couldn't get it on, the guest then messaged to say it was ok but my husband went straight down to make sure. The parking space is at the front and clearly states this in the information.

Came home after 30mins shocking filthy Grim, doors hanging off, carpets coming up sofa mess, washer mess fridge full water Pics on advertising out of date, fence dropping to bits, school nxt door, still waiting full refund

Nice little cottage

We all enjoyed are stay in this little cottage on the outskirts of the peak district there are loads of nice walks in the area lots todo for outdoorsy people and good value for money

It was ok

My friend arrived before me and couldn't get in. Couldn't get hold of owner. Cottage was nice but 2nd bedroom was bunk beds not for every one. It was OK but wouldn't stay again.

One night stay.

Nice cottage for a short stay. Great living space down stairs with large tv and DVD player. Great views. Parking is tight (I have a Audi A6) and managed to park outside ok. You can control the heating so can make it very cosy. Fantastic value for money as 4 of us stayed for £28 each.

House and decor needs updating. Far too expensive.

First the good points. The house was clean, the bathroom and kitchen were equipped and functional. There is Wi-Fi. However, I feel that the listing is misleading. The decor, carpets and kitchen/bathroom fixtures must be at least 30 years old and are worn and tired. The double bedroom is on the main road, whilst not too busy I did need earplugs to get a good night's sleep. The second bedroom is an internal bedroom, no outside windows and has a bunk bed and bedside table. The only wardrobe is a small one in the main bedroom. The bathroom was functional, the shower was fine but we couldn't get any hot water out of the tap. The place has a hostel feel about it but is charging hotel prices.

Clean and cosy

Nice clean property, plenty of space for 2 adults and there dogs. Only negative was only space for one car (small one) and local on street parking was ery difficult to come by.
