OBX rental

Great place to stay, close to everything, nice resort with great amenities, and we would rent again. There were a couple of things: the top bunk bed was not made up and we needed to make it, the shower drain was slow to drain with standing water in the shower, and we were unable to use the fan light in the master bedroom. Otherwise great rental and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location and beautiful property.

We stayed here as a family this past summer and it was a blast! The condo was very neat and clean, and had everything we needed. And the location was perfect for beach access, restaurants, fishing. We definitely will go back to Pirates Cove.

Fabulous location for families

My husband and I took our 6 & 8 year old grand kids on a 5-day “Grands adventure.” This property and location were perfect for our needs. We visited Cape Hatteras lighthouse and swam in the sound, went on a hour crabbing tour and another 2-hour dolphin tour and visited Alligator Wildlife Refuge. So much more we could have done in the area. We spent the afternoons at the pool, walking the boardwalks and fishing, sitting on the balcony watching the osprey nest with babies on the adjacent rooftop. The condo is cozy, with just enough room for two young kids and 2 adults. It has a pullout sofa, though may feel cramped with more people. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook nice meals though it’s small and only accommodates one person comfortably. The property management group was efficient and helpful. The only details which might improve the condo: less sensitive smoke alarm (went off every time we cooked anything,), expected the beds to be made but top bunk was not and was so hard to make given it’s position in the small room, and sharpen the knives. The condo was tidy and clean, though the carpet and furniture appear well used. Deadbolt from bedroom to patio doesn’t latch easily and a dresser drawer is unstable. All details are minor in comparison to the long list of amenities and advantages. We will return. Loved the stay.

We really like Pirates Cove properties. Everything was manicured nicely. Perfect for walking and boating. Enjoyed both pool areas. Will definitely plan to stay again.

Great Vacation week

The Property was great. Clean, fully furnished with everything you can think of in the kitchen. Friendly staff at the guard house & the Main Office. Beds were comfortable. We had a very nice stay and would definitely stay here again.
