Family Getaway on Large Quiet Cove w/Great views!

NO REGRETS with this lake house, just read our reviews! This is a Family Friendly waterfront home in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood with GREAT VIEWS on Pea Hill Creek. The Primary Guest renting our home and signing the rental agreement must be at least 25 years of age.

With over 300' of beautiful bulk headed shoreline on Lake Gaston this home is all about true Lake Living! This tastefully decorated lake cottage will surprise you w/ 3 bedrooms & 2 baths on the main level & an extra bedroom & full bath on the lower level giving you ample room for family & friends. The 1st floor great room is picture perfect w/ tongue & groove wood cathedral ceilings w/large stained beams, wood floors & brick fireplace...all opening up to the large covered porch giving you the ideal place to relax & enjoy the fabulous water views that surround this property. The large sliding glass doors give easy access to the generous level lawn and outdoor fire pit.

DirecTV upstairs and AppleTVs upstairs and down so you can AirPlay your Vacation photos and videos or your own media content!

The dock was completely rebuilt in 2016 and guests can enjoy the shaded area with ceiling fan, LED rope lights (for evening enjoyment) and BLUETOOTH speakers for listening to your tunes. The end of the dock is in 7' of water to allow swimming and jumping off the dock as well as steps to walk into the water from the land into a sandy bottom. There is also a large blue foam swim pad which the kids (and adults) can enjoy sunning and playing on while swimming off the dock! (PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE SWIM PADS FROM THE WATER).

The boat lifts and jet ski lifts are NOT for use by renters or guests. There are built in bumpers and tie down cleats to the right of the pontoon boat for guest boat storage.

Three youth kayaks, four adult kayaks, and two stand up paddle board are available for use by guests.

There is a private neighborhood boat ramp (combo provided at check in) so you don't have to mess around with busy marina ramps. The fishing is also very good at Gaston with striped bass, largemouth bass, crappie and other pan fish and catfish.

A Food Lion, an Ace Hardware, a Subway, and ice cream shack are all located within 5 miles. Other lakeside restaurants are nearby around the lake and they range from casual to more formal. Roanoke Rapids is a 20 minute drive from the house, with a mall with a Belk Store, Super Wal-Mart, movie theater, and numerous restaurants.

Security System: The Property has a security system which will NOT be armed during your stay, but may beep when doors or windows are opened and closed.

The Property also has EXTERIOR ONLY security cameras located around the perimeter of the Property and entry points into the house. THE CAMERAS DO NOT RECORD SOUND AND THERE ARE NO INTERIOR CAMERAS.

NO PETS OR SERVICE/THERAPY ANIMALS ALLOWED ON PREMISES. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Absolutely no house parties are allowed at the Property. If a house party is reported by neighbors, the cleaning company, or others, the entire deposit may be retained by Homeowner.

Nicely appointed home with a great location on the lake!The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to get us started. The back porch afforded beautiful lake views and fun family game times.The firepit was the icing on the cake! Warming us on chilly evenings. Amazing Family Getaway

We had the most amazing time at the Wee Blue Inn. The location was perfect, close to everything you need. The property manager was prompt with answering questions. The amenities were excellent. The lake was perfect. Deep enough to jump off the dock with a sand bar close by to just hang out and float around. We have stayed at several lake houses at Lake Gaston and everyone in our group agrees that this was the best place we have stayed at and look forward to coming back again.

Great Place!

We had a great stay at the Wee Blue Inn. Cozy cottage with many amenities. Enjoyed the lakefront view from both the house and dock. The communication from the owner was spot on with quick responses to questions and flexibility with check - in.

Perfect for Our Family

Great weather, perfect home (just the right amount of rustic). Kids especially enjoyed the dock and the floating mat. Adults enjoyed the kayaks and firepit. Truly a perfect place for our family. Owners have done a wonderful job in maximizing the space!

Great time

Location is fantastic. In a cove that is easy to access the main lake with some, but not a lot of boat traffic. Close to grocery store etc. House is nice and comfortable. Owners worked with us for everything we needed. Spent a lot of time swimming and on the dock. Dock provided right combination of sunny area and shade. Had a great time.

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our second stay at The Wee Blue Inn very much. The house is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The views of the lake are absolutely stunning. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the cooler fall temperatures.

Fun on the lake

We had a great time on our mini vacation on Gaston Lake. The house and property was great, everything you need for a great stay, very clean and lots of room. My grandson loved all the lake toys provided. We rented a boat and everyone enjoyed riding the boat and the boat toys. The fire pit was a hit also. Overall a great vacation, would stay at this property again for sure

Perfect spot

Great house and amenities. Everything was clean and as expected per the listing. We spent a lot of time on the dock and in the water. This part of the lake doesn't get too much traffic and a gas dock is close. Perfect getaway spot. Family loved it!

Perfect lake vacation

My family had a great time at this property. House was clean with plenty of room in a nice neighborhood. Excellent rental with all the things! The kids/young adults enjoyed kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing and playing games. We spent most of the day on the nice dock. The private boat ramp so close by was an added bonus. I would definitely book this property again.

Wonderful Getaway

Five stars from start to finish. This was a wonderful vacation for my whole family. The house is even better than we could have hoped. The private dock with all the fun water toys kept us all busy from sunup to sundown. The location was perfect for the laid back vibe we were hoping for and felt like we had our own personal spot at the lake. My kids are already asking if we can come back next year, and I can’t wait (unless we buy a place of our own :))!

Perfect repeat stay

This is our second year staying at the house. It is amazing. So fun for families. Plenty of space. The house is stocked so well. There was nothing they didn’t think of to make the stay perfect. We loved it.

Great trip, great place for about 3 regular size families.

Was a great stay, a good place for about three families, or generations, probably 10-12 people is the right size. The view, firepit, dock, quietness, balconies, etc. were all amazing. The downstairs separate suite was great for the family with small kids, still be there but away type of thing. Three full bathrooms was also great! The size of the yard, scope of the dock, and kayaks/stuff outside, was awesome for the kids and adults. Only thing on the negative, and it's a bit of a reach, was the size of the kitchen, but there isn't much that can be done about it, they've maximized space everywhere else. It's still fully functional and we were able to cook/serve full meals for 11. Well worth the stay! Easy 5 star rating.

Wonderful Escape on Lake Gaston

The Wee Blue Inn and its property are the perfect escape for some outdoor fun, rest and relaxation. The lake setting can’t be beat and the adorable home has everything you will need. Matt was super responsive and accommodating. We hope to return every year.

Great Week!!

We had a great time at the Wee Blue Inn. Everything was exactly as seen & explained in the pictures and description. First time staying at this property and it will definitely NOT be the last. Love the location, the kayaks, swimming pad and place to tie up our boats. The house was very clean, the kitchen well stocked, plenty of linens and we had ample space for our group. The fire pit was awesome for s’mores and the deck & boat dock were wonderful. We had great weather and a blast swimming & skiing. Matt the owner was extremely nice and accommodating if I had any questions. Looking forward to staying here again!!!

This home is located on a quiet cove with wide open views and deep water right off the end of the dock. The cove is off of Pea Hill Ceek, the largest creek at Lake Gaston, providing miles of protected water for skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing fun.
