Great place and great owners

Very clean and well taken care of place. The owners and his family were great with us. This place has everything you need. All around great place. Owner lives across the road and was available if we had any questions.

Perfect house

We stayed here for three nights and could not ask for a better location to be close to the city and ocean. The hosts were the best and were available to help us with anything we needed. They went out of their way to go buy us some bread and butter along with some other necessities. I will definitely be coming back to this house for my next visit.

Fantastic house, lovely little town

This house exceeded our expectations in every regard. It is superbly situated, overlooking the town and the sea. It has all the faculties that you could need inside and it also has a very pleasant, shaded, outside space. It is only five minutes walk into the town, where there are a number of bars and cafes and a very good little shop. João kindly gave us a tour of the immediate area when we arrived, this turned out to very useful in finding our way around later on.

Everything was great, House was big enough for our group and was very clean. It would be nice to have a working clothes dryer specially on the rainy days. Big group big laundry!! The owners were amazing and were available when needed. I would Recommend this house to my family and friends.

A very nice property and location on Sao Jorges

I really enjoyed this home, and location in Urzelina, Sao Jorge. It was very clean, and well-supplied in both the kitchen and linens. We enjoyed the convenience of being within easy walking distance to beautiful and historic sights, the market, and the bar which served good beer and burgers. Only negative was that the back bedroom mattress didn't have enough padding for my old bones, which I fixed easily by using the extra blankets to create a pad between the mattress and bottom sheet. Slept like a baby! The owner was very friendly. It was quite roomy, and the view of the village and ocean from the 2nd floor balcony was very nice; we enjoyed taking our morning coffee there. I highly recommend this property.

Cette maison est très propre et très agréable à vivre. A l'extérieur une belle terrasse où nous avons mangé tous les jours. 2 barbecues sont à disposition. Une grande cuisine bien aménagée un salon et un WC et douche en bas. A l'étage un petit hall avec un canapé puis 2 chambres et une autre salle de bains avec WC. Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour d'un peu plus de 2 semaines. La maison est très bien située sur l'Ile et il y a beaucoup de randonnées superbes à faire non loin. Possibilité d'aller à pied nager pas très loin de la maison, où il y a une piscine naturelle aménagée comme dans beaucoup d'endroits aux Açores. Les fonds y sont superbes et nous avons pu découvrir les grottes sous marines. Le propriétaire et son épouse sont extrêmement serviables et gentils et peuvent rapidement nous fournir tout ce dont nous pouvons avoir besoin. Merci beaucoup à eux. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre passage à URZELINA.

Perfect place to stay in Sao Jorge

This is a prefect place to stay to experience the beautiful island of Sao Jorge. The house is well appointed, comfortable, and in a beautiful part of the island with everything you need close by. U can walk to the ocean, restaurants, stores, cafe, and it's a short drive to the city of Velas. The owner was a wonderful host and provided us with everything we needed for a wonderful week long stay. I was born in Sao Jorge and staying here made me feel like I was back home. Thank you Jose!
