Very good location. Remote, but very quiet and peaceful. Cabin is very well equipped, especially the kitchen utensils and appliances. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet. It was a great escape from the Florida heat.

We paid to stay on the river and we walked down one time. The listing was inaccurate. The steps needed much more replaced steps. No steps to access the river. The cabin was cozy and a nice back porch. The cabin has mold in the ceiling in the shower area. Definitely needs to be cleaned more as there was lots of cobwebs and dust.

Bird Nature Paradise

Highly recommend this unique, relaxing stay. Enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch while watching numerous species of birds at the bird feeders along with the sound of the river. I have never seen so many hummingbirds! Comfy king bed, shower has good pressure. Great location.

Best lil spot

Had a great time with the family. The boys enjoying fishing and gold mining near by. The ladies enjoyed the shopping and the views were loved by all!! Will visit again!

Beautiful mountain retreat in the trees

Great rental with an awesome view of the mountains and the river. Nice quite retreat outside of Blue Ridge. The owner thought of everything that you would need for a great stay.

Outstanding

We arrived after dark and the driveway had a sharp left to get onto it that was a little difficult to see. The cabin was excellent and had everything we needed including firewood. It was very peaceful with the sounds of the creek nearby. We would definitely stay again.

Blue ridge getaway

We had always dreamed of staying in a secluded cabin on a river with a big porch, and rocking chairs. This fit that dream perfectly. Cabin is so cute. Watching the birds and listening to the river was the perfect way to isolate.

Family Vacation

This property was amazing. It has everything you need and more. It is very clean. The location is very peaceful. We loved sitting on the back porch enjoying the views, watching the birds and listening to the river below. We used the fireplace every night to sit back and relax.

Quaint cabin with Spectacular views

This cabin is furnished with everything you need! Activities from fishing on the Tacooa river, swinging on the porch or riverside to ping pong in the basement. We even saw deer in the fields in the evening right down the road. Suitable for one to two couples or family of 6. We highly recommend!

Short getaway trip

This property was even better than pictured! We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed a week. Perfectly remote for me and my fiance. It was cozy and down by the water was beautiful. The cabin is straight out of a dream. Water pressure in the shower felt great after a long day hiking. Kitchen pretty much had everything we needed to cook. Can’t recommend this property enough, we will be back!

We vacation in the area in the area in a small travel trailer with our two sons and fell in love with area. We then started looking of a lot on the river to build our cabin. We now spend more time with our grandkids and love it as much as we do.
