Great Family Vacation

My family came up for App State football homecoming game and this property was perfect! It satisfied all of our needs and was less than 15 minutes away from Boone.

Fantastic weekend

What a great weekend! Grandparents, parents and college kids for a short getaway. Beautiful house, beautiful view and not far from Boone/Blowing Rock! Definitely will be back

Nice property with lots of spaces for family & friends. Be sure to bring a baby gate for the stairs down to the game room if you have little ones - it's quite steep.

Beautiful mountain views

We enjoyed our stay at A Peak of Heaven. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast & dinner cooking. The bedrooms were a good size. We had no problem with the paved driveway. Our family enjoyed the gas fireplace while watching movies in the evening.

Ruined our vacation

Too much to complain about. Received email day of check in stating house wouldn't be ready for check in til 7pm. We rearranged our activities and arrived dead tired at 8pm and the code they provided wouldn't work. An hour later they called us to provide a new code. House was loaded with flaws: cable and wifi not working, no window treatments in master bedroom, range all scratched up, oven greasy, mini oven rusty, refrigerator dirty, closets full of crap, drywall cracks all over, no house number posted, staircase is a law suit waiting to happen, island is loose, linens and pillow cases stained and bleached, plus much more. We called the management company 12 times they promised someone would resolve the most important issues, nobody ever showed up. Be smart, rent from someone else.

Amazing views!

Great house! Well kept, clean, everything you need and more. A home away from home with breathtaking views. The only downside was having to go home ☺️

Perfect Christmas!

We had such a lovely time here. It snowed, so we were housebound pretty much the whole time, which was perfect. The home is beautiful and they even decorated for Christmas for us! Thank you!

Good Location , poorly maintained

The house needs maintenance and upgrades. Worn out furniture. Soiled pillows (yellow and sweat) and bed linen ( blood stains). The bed linen was not washed and they smelled of sweat. Stayed up all night washing linen. Broken blinds and low water pressure in the kitchen sink. Kitchen sink needs a good scrub around the edges. Steep drive way with a very difficult and small spot to turn your car around. In snow, this would be tricky! Call the manager within a few minutes of getting there (before 5pm) but never heard back from management!

Needs a description of parking and size of vehicles that are better suited for entry. Hair in drains of shower.master sheets did not seem to be fresh. Great stay nice view and beautiful house

Peak of Heaven

Great spot! Spacious enough for our family of 6 and our pup. Great views from the deck. The kids loved the ping pong table and adults loved the deck/grill. Very serene. The only two things we didn't care for was that parking our truck was a little tricky and the towels are old and new ones should be purchased for the property. We definitely plan on staying again!

The house was a great size and very comfortable for living and sleeping. We enjoyed the deck and the view but found the driveway to be a bit challenging.

Such a beautiful property. Had a wonderful time relaxing. Everything was perfect from the property down to the property management company. The only slight inconvenience was a very rude and nosey neighbor. The driveway was also a little difficult as it needs some work (paving would be best). Would stay again!
