I'm sorry you were so disappointed by your stay. It is very hard to please everyone, and it is a bit hard to understand that the other guests who stayed left 5 star reviews and lovely comments, so possibly you expected something else? In the photos you can see the house exactly as it is, with the curtains, NO sofa, and the kitchen also...what you see is what you get. The kitchen has everything you need and is very spacious. Why were you expecting something that was obviously not in the photos? The photos of the garden are to show the view from inside the house, and the garden in the front is more than ample enough for our guests. As far as the smell, no one else mentioned it and I wish you had mentioned it when you were here so I could have checked it out and gotten to the root of the problem, if there was indeed one. You being unhappy with the house was no reason to leave it behind so filthy. I asked you to use the outdoor shower(which has HOT water as well...How many houses with outdoor showers with hot water do yo know of?) to clean off the sand when coming home from the beach, but that request was obviously ignored, as there was almost more sand in the house than on the beach. It might be useful for you to write to the owner/manager of the future homes you rent with a list of everything you expect so that they can then either be prepared for your visit, or decide not to rent to you.
