Spectacular summer break

Comfortable, well appointed chalet with lovely terrace & wonderful hot tub. 8 adults & 1 dog & plenty of space for us all. Some mountain bikers, others walkers & we all loved the chalet and surrounding areas.

What an incredible place to stay. The views and location are unbeatable. The chalet is spacious with great social areas through-out. All amenities are there to a high standard.Gail is a fantastic host who was very responsive, friendly and helpful during booking. Tom was amazing at meeting us at the property full of energy and local information to share.If we could give higher than 5 stars we would!

Lovely chalet just afew minutes away from the centre of Morzine. Bus stop literally outside. Comfortable, cosy and lovely hottub which we thoroughly enjoyed after along day skiing.

Awesome chalet awesome holiday

Fantastic chalet in an awesome location - been to Morzine the last 3 summers and this was by far the best chalet we’ve stayed in. The chalet offered more than enough space for the 8 of us, the beds were very very comfortable and the garden, hot tub, deck and ability to dine and relax outside on the balcony made the stay extra special. The views over the mountains and the sound of the river running at the end of the garden won’t be forgotten in a while. Will definitely consider a return to this very chalet next year.

Incredible week

5 of us stayed at the chalet in mid march; we skied les gets and avoriaz, which had snow from the previous week and managed to hold most snow through 50 degree highs the week we were there. Both areas are incredible for skiing. The chalet is top notch; it is not an exaggeration that it is across from the bus stop. The location was as advertised but I think we would stay slightly closer to enable us to walk home after a late night; however taxis can quite easily be scheduled as long as it’s in advance. Host and hosts communication/recommendations are impeccable.

Idyllic chalet

Everyone looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. Chalet is clean, well equipped and very cosy. Beautiful views and ski bus stops outside the chalet. Tom helped us with a supermarket delivery the first day. Highly recommend for family or friends. Hot tub just an added bonus to a wonderful chalet. Thank you Gail and Tom.

Absolutely wonderful

Our stay at the chalet was absolutely wonderful! The space is incredibly cozy, with a rustic yet elegant décor that perfectly matches the mountain atmosphere. The chalet is very well-equipped, with comfortable bedrooms, a functional kitchen, and an outdoor area with a jacuzzi perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery. The location is also excellent, with easy access to the ski slopes and various winter activities.A special mention to the excellent transfer service organized by Gail, the owner. Everything was perfectly arranged, making our arrival and departure seamless and stress-free.The service throughout our stay was impeccable – from booking to check-out, we were always greeted with kindness and great attention to detail. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and we can’wwaittoreturnreturn!

Stunning setting in the valley close to Morzine

Just returned from a fantastic week in Chalet Sabot. So comfortable and cosy and kitchen well equipped for our family suppers every evening. Our dogs enjoyed it too, the walks along the valley early evening where just magical. We arranged our discounted transfers from Geneva which we excellent and had our skis delivered and picked up as recommended by Gail. All in all an excellent service from start to finish. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again soon. Hot tub under the stars at the end of a hard day on the slopes is the best!

Beautiful home outside Morzine

Really beautiful home, it felt like a traditional chalet and we loved it. Excellent heating, fireplace, well equipped with utensils etc. Lovely traditional feel and beautifully designed we thought. The outdoor spa was really lovely too! And Tom (property manager/maintenance) was wonderful and helped us above & beyond, Downsides - this home is further from town than we thought and rather inconvenient unless you have a car. Buses were quite unreliable, taxis often fully booked / unavailable and it is quite a long walk uphill home from town which we couldn’t have done with kids (no footpath for half the way which made it dangerous with a pram etc). We also found the steep and very slippery stairs to the front door a challenge with suitcases (we arrived at night). In short - a wonderful home & a fabulous holiday if you have a car to get around!

Great stay for 4 day ski

Just finished an amazing 4 day ski trip. Chalet was ideal for the 7 of us. Comfortable, warm and very well equipped. Full English TV and streaming services were a great added bonus. The hot tub was a great touch and a lovely way to finish each day Location was a little outside the morzine centre bus stop right outside meant this wasn't an issue once you get used to the timings. We had catering from Tamsin which was incredible! Restaurant quality cooked and served in the comfort of the chalet. She even washed up! Would definitely recommend this chalet. Gale and the team were incredibly responsive and always available for any questions / needs. Can't really fault it. Thank you very much

Très beau chalet

Le chalet est très beau et très bien situé. 2 bémols, l'accès pas les escaliers n'est pas pratique et il serait appréciable de préciser sur l'annonce qu'il n'est pas adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Le sol de la terrasse près du spa est en mauvaise état, attention aux échardes si vous êtes pieds nus. Il serait peut-être aussi sympas de prévoir un couvert pour la terrasse près du salon pour le soleil. Sinon très beau séjour.

Belle parenthèse au frais !!!

Très bon séjour dans ce magnifique chalet très bien aménagé avec toutes les commodités, un plus avec le SPA et beau barbecue. Bien situé au calme avec la rivière un peu plus bas. Quel bonheur de s'endormir et de se réveiller avec le chant des oiseaux et la rivière qui coule. A renouveler.

Amazing stay

The chalet was beautiful and the hot tub was a great addition after a day on the slopes. Check in / checkout process was very easy and there was always someone to contact if any questions. Bus stop into town was right outside the chalet. We will definitely stay here again.

Great chalet in convenient location

Very nice chalet complete with all amenities one would need to enjoy a trip to the mountains. Having a hot tub with a beautiful view was also a great perk after spending a long day in the outdoors. Would recommend staying here with a group or with family/children. Nice location, close to the town centre.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful home with easy access to Morzine and hiking trails. The interior of the home is beautifully designed and will make you feel at home in this mountain ski chalet. The private balcony with large seating area and the downstairs patio with hot tub are spectacular features that you will love. Only negative was the amount of spider webs on the exterior of the house that could have been cleaned. Not a huge deal though. Gail was very prompt with communication. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend you book your stay here!

Gail and Lance, and their 3 children, from Lincolnshire, England, fell in love with the Alps 20 years ago. Since then the majority of holidays, summer and winter are spent in the Alps. The air is clear, the food is delicious and the activities are varied. There are few better places to spend a week or two. Without the stress of everyday life, it is easier to feel more at home in the Chalet, then when actually at home!

The Portes du Soleil is well know for its huge and varied ski field, offering something for everyone, and being conveniently placed for Geneva airport, the travel times are low too. To add to the impressive facilities in winter, summer is also special here. Such a huge amount of cycling options for all ages (including electric bikes, which mean you really can explore the mountains without having the fitness of Chris Froome!) as well as walking, white water rafting, kayaking and open water swimming.. the list goes on. Importantly, Morzine is a "real" town, which means the shutters are not closed the day after the winter and summer seasons end, so it's just as enjoyable in autumn, when the fall colours blanket the mountains until the first snow arrives. With all this, there was nowhere else we wanted to be more than here. The Chalet itself balances spaciousness and modern conveniences with the traditional alpine cosiness and beautiful views, and it's less than a 10 minute walk to the closest lift. As soon as we saw it, we knew it was the one for us. It gave us everything we had hoped to find, and more.

The perfect wooded mountain setting is beautiful and the cedar hot tub is the icing on the cake. The chalet is wonderfully quiet and relaxing, the perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends, yet only a 2 minute bus ride from the nearest ski lift and the restaurants and bars in the centre of Morzine.
