Wonderful time at Villa Hara

My sister and I had a wonderful time staying at Villa Hara in Agia Efimia. The place was perfect, the town was charming and Hara was great and very attentive.

Villa Hara

The villa was very well equipped and very clean. The owner was helpful and gave us information about the area.There is a lovely terrace with sea views and it is quite close to the village and restaurants etc. On the down side, It could do with some updating and we felt it was expensive

Goats bells and tranquility!

My sister and I just LOVED this peaceful, totally private property with stunning panoramic views. we both needed a rest and Hara's villa provided that and more! Plenty of seating areas in shade and sun and a lovely little garden area. We adored the gentle sound of tinkling goat bells coming from the woods behind the villa. It was a 5-10 minutes walk into the harbour past the local village horse. So many good tavernas and we ate at as many as we could, when not out elsewhere for the day, but needed longer for them all. We particularly liked the Sea Rock, The Pergola and The Local and also the local bar and coffee shop with the blue and white chairs and tables, where they made great cocktails. Communication with Hara before our trip was easy and when we arrived we found the most amazing welcome pack of juice, milk,water, wine, fruit, butter, cheese, fresh bread,cake and all the cupboard neccessities including local olive oil produced by Hara's family. Hara herself was a total delight...warm, friendly welcoming and considerate and we had some lovely conversations with her. She regularly came to change towels and bedding and provided all loo rolls, kitchen roll and serviettes. Aghia Effemia is a delightful village and harbour with a mix of tourists and locals and I was remembered from previous visits by some of local taverna staff. We hired a car and airport pick up from Nikos and Katerina (Starvillas) and travelled to many places in North and North east of island.

grande maison lumineuse et très propre

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans la maison d’Hara : tout est impeccable, la cuisine très bien équipée et nous avons apprecié la climatisation dans les chambres ! Hara et sa soeur sont adorables, leur maman habite je crois dans un logement contre la maison mais nous ne l’avons ni vue ni entendue et espérons ne pas avoir eté bruyants pour elle avec notre famille nombreuse !

Villa Hara Agia Efimia

We stayed for 2 weeks in July and had a great stay at Villa Hara, spacious and clean with a great barbecue area, lovely views and a 10mins walk into Agia Efimia. Hara and her sister were both lovely and very welcoming, couldn't do enough for us. I would highly recommend this property we had a very enjoyable stay.

Peaceful and beautiful

Hara is a very friendly host. The house was perfect, clean and well equipped. Pylaros valley is beautiful and a great place to explore the island from.

Villa Hara

We had such a wonderful time at Villa Hara. The village is only a five minute walk from the villa and has plenty of restaurants, two supermarkets and very pretty little beaches. The most spectacular beaches (Myrtos and Antisamos) are only a short drive away and overall the location is perfect for exploring the island. The villa is spotlessly clean and has everything you could wish for. And besides that, Hara and her mother are the most wonderful hosts. Always there to help, give advice and super nice. ευχαριστώ Hara!

Todo bien en Casa de Hara. Terraza muy agradable

Hara ha estado muy atenta desde el primer momento. La casa estaba estupendamente, limpia y muy bien equipada. Hara te entrega un paquete de alimentos de bienvenida espectacular. La terraza es muy agradable con ratos de una brisa refrescante. Es necesario aprender a convivir con las avispas (esto es en toda la isla) y con la familia de gatos. Todo bien en casa de Hara. Muy recomendable la zona norte de la Isla, y Agia Efimia me parece ubicación ideal, además de un puerto encantador.

Home from home

Villa Hara was So easy to find, clearly signposted from the road. Excellent communication from the owner ahead of our stay. Hara was a fantastic host, she welcomed us on arrival and checked in on us during our stay as well as providing a great welcome pack. Everything spotlessly clean. Great location, lovely view, close to all amenities. We’d highly recommend it and hope to go back soon. Thank you Hara!

The best :)

We had a wonderful time in Agia Efimia! The villa is well located, near to the famous Myrtos Beach and near by the center of de village. It's quiet and in a calm neighborhood. The rooms are clean, nice and practically furnished. Especially the kitchen is very well equipped. Hara is a very nice person which is always endeavors to make the stay pleasant. We are sure that we will come again :) Thank you Hara for this wonderful time in Kefalonia!

Casa in una posizione fantastica 5 minuti a piedi dal paese Vista stupenda sul porto di Agia Efimia e nello sfondo Itaka) (Fantastica l'alba col sole che spunta da ITAKA) Casa Indipendente sviluppata su 2 piani dispone di ampi spazi. i balconi e le finestre aprono su 3 lati della casa, per cui è semplice creare flusso d'aria a tal punto da non dover usare i condizionatori che comunque sono presenti. la Proprietaria è Gentilissima se torno a Cefalonia riprenoto in questa casa.

Wonderful stay

Just home from our holiday and already missing it and wishing we were back. Hara is a really lovely lady who does her utmost to make your stay really special, she is an absolute star. The views from every aspect of the villa are breathtaking, the photos can’t begin to convey this. We loved sitting out listening to the goats, cicadas and local cockerels and watching the sun come up over Ithaca in the morning and star gazing at night. The villa is very clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Thank you so much Hara.

Brilliant villa

Excellent property. Hara is a lovely host. Couldn't do enough for us. Loads of clean towels every 2/3 day and bed linen changed every 4 days. Villa very clean and airey with an extremely well fitted kitchen. Enough utensils to feed an army! Highly recommended. Hope to stay there again.

Wunderschönes Kefalonia

Wir hatten in dieser wundervollen Villa mit mit der sehr herzlichen und netten Frau Hara als Vermieterin einen erholsamen Kurzurlaub.Agia Efimia ist ein nettes kleines Küstendorf . Die ganze Insel Kefalonia hat uns mit seiner Schönheit begeistert. Wenn es unsere Zeit zuläßt kommen wir bestimmt wieder,auch in dieses herrliche Haus am Berg.
