Cute cottage at the marina

The cottage is great for 2 adults. The area is quieter than most areas around the beach. The people at the Vines Creek Marina are very nice and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here.

Adorable little Cottage

We found this property at the last minute as the hotel we booked caught fire and we had to cancel our reservation. I reached out to the property owner who promptly responded and was so helpful. I recommend staying here as there are many beach choices whether you have kids or want more of an adult environment. We were only 35 minutes to Ocean City MD which was also beautiful and has an amazing boardwalk with so much to do. At the end of the road is a little beach area that would be great for kids to splash around and stay cool! I wouldn’t recommend swimming there but there is enough sand to enjoy some quiet time away from people. The cottage is also equipped with everything you need! Personally I have no complaints and would encourage anyone to go enjoy all the cottage has to offer!!!

Quaint Cottage & Convenience

We (my Mom, daughter and myself) rented the cottage for our girl's get-away to Bethany Beach. The owner is very friendly, responsive and accommodating. She made sure we had all that we needed for a relaxing stay and was flexible, in working with our travel times. The cottage is adorable! Not only was it super clean, but it is beautifully decorated (I took photos of the interior so I could do a similar style in my home!) and located on a peaceful marina. The drive into Bethany was a short, straight shot and virtually traffic free, plus there are many conveniences en route in the event you need to grab water, sunscreen, (or doughnuts) on your way to the beach! I would fully recommend the Waterfront Cottage for those who want the convenience of the beach without the crowds. We relaxed on the hammock swing and drank coffee in the morning before heading off the the beach and enjoyed the quiet of the marina when we returned home, in the evening. A very quaint and romantic vacation accommodation.

Affordable Property Close to Beach Towns!

Valerie was very nice!!! Everything overall was great!!! We had an awesome vacation visiting surrounding beach towns. A few suggestions/comments I have are: More racks for drying items, luckily I brought our drying rack so we were fine. The pictures on the listing showed there was a swing/hammock and there was not. The listing also showed rocking type chairs on the front porch and they were metal chairs. The landscaping was not as pretty as the pictures. The picnic table was not in the best condition. There definitely needs to be a hose outside. The refrigerator and freezer definitely need baking soda boxes because there was a smell. The dining/kitchen area had a lot of fruit flys. I made some DIY fruit fly traps that worked very well for the week. The bathroom was on a big lean. You felt your equilibrium off when in there. The private beach sounds nicer than it looks. The listing says waterfront property but in my opinion that’s debatable. It is on a Marina but there are a lot of boats and ramps blocking the view. The Marina is well kept and the shop was nice too.

Cute cottage!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was exactly as listed. It’s perfect size for a family of 4. It was a quick drive to Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. We had a great time!

Quaint cottage in a marina setting

Truly enjoyed my stay at this adorable little cottage located at a local marine. Spacious enough for my needs and very well appointed by the owner(s). A short walk to a bayside beach area that is private enough to allow one to relax and soak up the sun and listen to the waves crashing to the shore.

Restful Retreat

It’s hard to enjoy a summer vacation anywhere near a beach that doesn’t come with crowds and traffic, but this cozy cottage made it possible. Off the beaten path yet convenient enough to all attractions, it offered equal access to either escape or entertainment for this solo vacationer. It would do as well for a couple or a small family who’d appreciate a comfy haven in a peaceful bayside setting.

Perfect little cottage

My family and I needed a break from the city and this was the perfect place. The cottage is clean, roomy and stocked with essentials. The owner is very helpful And always available to answer questions. We plan on visiting again.

Just Right

Everything was easy and efficient for the rental process. The cottage was wonderful and had all we needed. We needed to talk with the owner a couple times to ask for help and she was available so quickly to help. I would recommend staying here. We would come back!!

Small but comfortable, good value.

The cottage was kept clean, and was more than adequate for us. A/C was new and worked well; wi-Fi worked fine. Ride to Bethany Beach was not too long.

Great Vacation!

We had a wonderful week at the Cottage :) We were looking for something comfy and off the beaten path, but still close to amenities, and the Cottage was perfect! Our 2 young boys also thoroughly enjoyed the house, property, marina, and nearby beach. It’s a great place!

Charming and comfortable cottage

A place to get away

This is the place where you can get away to relax , very quiet, clean. The cottage had everything we needed, tv, WiFi, very clean. Bethany Beach at 15-20 min drive, a lot of attractions at 30-40 min drive, a good grocery store at 10-15 min drive. There is a little beach at 3 min walking where you can go crabbing or just stay in the sun, water is not good for swimming, but it is beautiful to stay and enjoy the view. The lady from the Marina that is across from the cottage she was very helpful with a lot of information. If you have a boat it is free to use the ramp and have plenty of room to park. Very nice place.

Tiny Cottage Relaxing Life

My husband and I rented the tiny cottage for a week in July and fell in love with it and the area. We enjoyed the short walk to the private beach area where the Indian River was as warm as bath water and very clear. The cottage is adorable and very comfortable. We had privacy and enjoyed a relaxing week together. I highly recommend the cottage for couples or couples with a few younger children who can climb to the loft to sleep! We also enjoyed the short ride to Bethany Beach when we wanted to get in some ocean "beach" time. We never had difficulty parking although it is metered so expect to pay upwards of $12 - 15 for the day. We would love to return to the cottage in the future. Thank you for everything!!!

Cute, classy cottage

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! We spent most of our days on the immaculate Bethany Beach (about 15 minutes down the road). In the evening we would often pop down to the sandy bay beach at the end of the road. The cottage comes well equipped; we made nearly all of our meals there. It has a little porch and hammock swing for two that are perfect for watching the sunset. So relaxing! Also, there is a deck with a grill and picnic table. The owner was friendly and responsive. I highly recommend!

Great quiet convenient unique location.

We loved paddle boarding and line crabbing in the bay. The owner- family were gracious and very accommodating. It is an easy drive to the ocean beaches! The cottage is quaint, well-appointed and one of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in a number. The swing is delightful and of grown up dimensions!! Lovely place for morning coffee.
