The unit was close to the beach and next to shopping, a grocery store and all eating establishments. By far, Minolis the owner was an absolute delight. I would stay at his place again and would recommend to others. Thank you Minolis for a wonderful stay!

Peu mieux faire

Nous avons été bien reçus par les propriétaires dans un logement suffisamment grand pour 2, mais nous avons été dérangés par le bruit de la route très passante et le bruit des avions. L avantage et l inconvénient de la "ville", c est la proximité des commerces, puisque le susupermarché est à 20 mètres et le petit magasin juste en face car ce magasin ferme à 24h et les voitures, les motos font beaucoup de bruit. Ensuite, j ai dû relaver toute la vaisselle dont j ai voulu me servir, car elle n était pas propre ainsi que le range couvert tout collant. L intérieur des placards de la cuisine sont collants eux aussi, le four était sale avec des miettes à l intérieur, le réfrigérateur n était pas propre non plus, les plaques électriques étaient pleines d éclaboussures cuites et la fiche triplette toute collante elle aussi. La cafetière est à détartrer. Bref il y a du ménage à faire. face, mais le problème sont les horaires là

Amazing place! Amazing location!

The property has everything you need! Location is awesome! Beach is right there 1 min walking distance, grocery store, convenience store in front open 24h, the best cafe 1 block away! People in the area are amazing! We loved staying there! We will come back!

Wonderful holiday in the sun

A lovely clean appartment in an ideal location(not enormous but surrounded by bars and shops ,regular bus services to other parts of the island and only 2 minutes walk from the beach .) Manolis was there to greet us ,having booked us a taxi from the airport . He was very helpful and friendly and easily contactable during our stay .He advised us on buses, places to go ,where to get a pre- flight covid test ( which,very conviently was in a clinic just down the road )etc . At one point our kettle leaked and he replaced it immediately!He even let us stay a day extra ,as our flight wasn't until 10.25 that evening and nobody else was arriving that day - this was greatly appreciated, as it saved us having to drag our luggage around all day and we made the most of a last few hours on the beach and a lovely meal out. We had a great holiday !

Gute Möglichkeit sich im freien aufzuhalten

Größe der Wohnung ausreichend für 2 Personen. Der Duschvorhang ist sehr störend, klebt am Körper. Kühlschrank kühlte auch auf höchster Stufe kaum. Sonst alles zweckmässig aber ausreichend bestückt. Hat uns alles in allem aber gut gefallen.

Fantastic

We have just had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it. Manolis was here to greet us on our arrival and made sure we were settled and that we could contact him at anytime if we needed advice. It had everything you needed and the location was just perfect. The bus to Heraklion is only €2 each and it was a nice day out. Some fantastic restaurants, our favourite is Tzo and we also highly recommend The Whisky Bar for drinks. We spent quite a few nights at both! Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Tony & Sue xx

It would be hard to find a more helpful and hospitable couple. Any problems were sorted, from where to buy basil to how to book a car. A trip to Iraklio is 2 Euro on the bus(stop across the road) and you can reach Chania and Rethymnon or Agios Nikolaos and Ierapetra. The 60 k trip to Agios Nikolaos cost about 6 Euro 40. Go into the Iraklio bus station and they will tell you where to catch the bus to Knossos. You can also visit the great Archaeological Museum near the port and have lunch on the harbour. The location is fantastic; a real Greek supermarket across the road with fantastic fresh food and a short walk to the beach. , Big supermarket, traditional tavernas , great butcher, restaurants, patisserie all within walikng distance. The apartment is cheerful, spotless and comfortable with space to sit outside. Kokkini Hani is less busy than many other areas which gives a really relaxing holiday. However, the real charm is in our hosts, Manolis and Evi.....epharisto

The warm hospitality of the owners.
Comfortable apartment located in the seaside town of Kokkini Hani – 15 minutes by air-conditioned coach from Heraklion, from which regularly scheduled coaches depart through breathtaking vistas to all major sites and towns on this magnificently beautiful island, these self-contained unit is an enjoyable place to which to return after a day’s travels, or a visit to the quiet beach less than two minute’s walk.
There is a wide range of tourist and other facilities provided in Kokkini Hani, such us shops, taverns, restaurants, bars, super markets, car and bike rentals, sports, water sports, tourist agents, banking services, medical center etc all of them within a walking distance.
Main beaches are fully organized and provide all the amenities that you might be looking for. There are also many smaller beaches in coves around the area, for those who prefer a more secluded place. Opposite to Kokkini Hani, there is a small islet called Dia.
