This property was the perfect location, especially for first time travelers to Rome. Germana is a great host and helped with arranging transportation to and from the airport. When you walk out the front door, you are greated by cobblestone paths and within 5 minutes, you are walking into the Piazza Navona. This week was magical for my husband and I. We cant wait to come back to Roma. Grazie Germana and Roma for a dream come true.

The location was excellent and very convenient for getting around the city! There were some hiccups during check-in, and the host wasn’t very helpful in resolving them. Place was generally clean, though there were quite a few bugs, which isn’t surprising in a big city.

A Unique Apartment in the Absolute Best Location

If you want to stay on a picturesque street in Rome, look no further than this one, Via Banchi Nuovi. It's the best. This apartment has the amenities that travelers need. Good working kitchen (believe me when you see the farmer's markets, you'll want to get some fresh ingredients and cook sometime), beds were decent. Bathroom modern and comfortable.The patio garden was a very nice addition and was the one amenity that swayed me to stay here. It is nice to have a little outdoor space to yourself. There are some odd things but they are easily overlooked. Yes the ceiling height is low upstairs but it's manageable. Our grown children/partners had no issue. Yes the stairs to get to the second bedroom can feel a little "open", so the only thing I wouldn't advise this apartment for is for people with small children. It all really worked so well for us, I have zero complaints. Our host was very attentive to messages and communication was very good. The self check-in worked flawlessly. Would definitely stay again.

nice place in perfect location. about 12 to 15 minute walk to Vatican, nice cafes, bars, restaurants and markets nearby, about 23 mninute walk to Spanish steps and high end shopping. Good communication with host.

Wir haben die Wohnung nun zum zweiten Mal gemietet und es war wieder sehr schön! Perfekt für Besichtigungen, aber auch, um ins abendliche Rom einzutauchen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Stylish, comfortable and tranquil oasis in the heart of historic Rome

This beautiful and thoughtfully designed apartment was perfect for our week in Rome. My husband and I had a relaxed and romantic time, strolling the area and hanging out on the Piazzas in lovely weather. Enjoying the scenery and the incredible food and wine. The location is absolutely perfect. Our host arranged transportation between the airport and the apartment and our driver was very kind and dependable. Our son and his wife joined us for a few nights and we found it to be comfortable. The garden area is a tranquil and private space and the kitchen is really nice. High ceilings and quite spacious. We will be back!

Roman Adventure

Apartment was ideal for an active adventure in Rome. Modern and clean. Beautiful outdoor garden. Communication was great and check in was easy. The location is absolutely perfect to explore Rome. The surrounding neighborhood is quaint and charming with so much to do. Piazza Navona is beautiful. Easy walking distance to many iconic Sites and landmarks. We hope to return soon!

Excellent stay in heart of Rome

Beautiful apartment down a street with a lovely restaurant and coffee bar right outside. Everything was clean and had an easy check in process. I do recommend that the host get blinds for the upper window and door leading to the private terrace for more privacy. Would definitely stay again!

Great location but the patio is not the place to sit so don’t think that you are getting a place with an outdoor space. You will also have to have an internet connection to get in so you will need to buy a plan. I use WhatsApp and Wi-Fi when I travel which won’t work. Upstairs loft not usable

Charming apartment in a fun location

The apartment was very cute. The loft space is fun for teens/kids. Air conditioning worked great! There is a full kitchen and a refrigerator/freezer that was a nice way to store drinks and ice. The bed was firm, but comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean. The back porch area was very cute, but it was just a bit too hot out for us to enjoy it. I will note that there are other neighbors you will be living amongst, so if you are a loud group (or have kids with a ton of energy) then this might not be the place for you. The check in/check out process was seamless, but I will note that the door to the apartment itself took me some time to get used to, but once you get the "feel" for it, it's not a big deal. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. The location was really great, a few minutes walk to a grocery store, restaurants galore, and maybe 6 minutes to the Piazza Navona. I recommend this property!

Romantic apartment excellent location

Location was very close to many places we love but was quiet which was fantastic. The layout of the apartment is great, was clean and we really enjoyed it. Germana was helpful and attentive. Would definitely stay there again!

Comfortable and well located

This apartment is perfect for two people. It is well located for walking around Rome. The bathroom is small but has everything you might need, and the bed is large and comfortable. The kitchen with dining table and chairs is a good size, perfect for breakfast or for enjoying a glass of wine before going out for dinner.

Our stay was amazing. The apt location was fantastic. Close to everything. Bus stop was close by. The apartment was clean and well kept. Wonderful neighbourhood. One suggestion would be to add a toaster and a microwave to the amenities. There was a grocery close by and heating the prepared foods would have been easier with a microwave. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Unpleasant and Dirty apartment

I have been a long time user of VRBO but this was my first worst experience. The photos and description in the listing were misleading (apartment was filled with cobwebs, mold smell, gnats, dirty windows, outdoor furniture in "so called garden" was not usable, bathroom 2 was in outhouse and dirty). The shower faucets in the bathroom were temperamental constantly switching between scalding hot water to cold. The AC was not working. I had tried to communicate with the property manager and asked 3 questions the response I got was that " I am sorry but I am not able to assist you the whole day" - It was a long flight to get to Rome and did not appreciate unfriendly response. In the amenities listed there was no paper towels or soap for dishes provided. The dishes & utensils were not clean. It is very unsafe for families with younger kids as the staircase to the loft area had no guardrails. The listing does not mention about the "Rome city tax" it was after the second installment I was told there is additional city tax. Location is ok, but noisy apartment complex. It was certainly an unforgettable experience !

Charming apartment in fabulous location

Fantastic location, walkable to many tourist locations (for example, Pantheon and St. Peter’s Square each less than 15 minute walk). Apartment is well-kept and artistically decorated. Hostess was exceptionally responsive and helpful. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Delightful Stay

Germana’s apartment is clean, comfortable and beautiful. We would have loved using the outdoor space at a warmer time of year. The location is excellent. Close to many sights and restaurants, it is a great base for exploring Rome on foot.

Wonderful

Great place, great location and a wonderful little garden area. Above all a large shower with a bathtub, not an easy thing to find in Rome. And a washer. Had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
