A bit of luxury after a hard days hillwalking!

Stayed here to do some hillwalking in the area. Was very comfortable lodge, had really good nights sleep and it was fantastic coming home after being in the hills to sit on the balcony in the sunshine. It is contemporary, well equipped and roomy. I have stayed here before and would do so again.

Good location, nice cabin with very nice view. Quiet but good spot for going to Fort William, Glennfinnan and the Ben Nevis.

Country side seclusion was wonderful. The panoramic view of the mountains incredible! Loved the peaceful ambiance.

Western Scotland Fortnight

Great property in the perfect location to enjoy Glencoe, the Isles and tons more. Lodges have great view of the mountains and the Caledonian canal. Saw deer 10 feet from the deck! Recommend for the hiker/sightseer type, great to relax after a busy day!

Ft William

Very nice modular home. It is 6 miles from town on a winding skinny road so be sure to have above average driving skills. Even though it was out in the country it is one of several modular homes sitting right next to others so not quite the privacy one would expect. But the home was lovely one of the nicest places we stayed in the two weeks we toured Ireland and Scotland. Could definitely stay there with whole family. Very clean and relaxing

Loved Fort William

The property was nice and clean. The view and the sail boats passing by were pretty. Towels were provided when we arrived. There was a community laundry located by the registration office. I would have preferred the laundry in the lodge, but the laundry facility was clean, and soap was provided. I didn’t have a problem, it was just inconvenient. The only improvement I could think of would be to spray for spiders. There were a lot of spiders. I expect bugs and spiders being that the lodge is set in a rural location, but a little pest control couldn’t hurt. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay at the lodge again. We were very pleased.

Sehr gut ausgestattet mit großem Wohnzimmer und Terrasse.

Bei regnerischem Wetter konnten wir die Ferienunterkunft gut nutzen. Wir Küche und Wohnzimmer waren sehr geräumig und hatten schönen Blick auf die Landschaft. Ein großer Kühlschrank mit Gefriertruhe sowie ein Waschtrockner waren auch vorhanden.

Ferienhaus liegt sehr weit außerhalb von Fort Williams. Die Abgeschiedenheit war für uns genial.

A beautiful Lodge in the Scottish Highlands

We had a very nice time in the middle of the Highlands! The hosts have sent a lot of helpful information by e-mail in advance for your arrival. On arrival we were personally greeted very nicely and shown to our accommodation. In our lodge we had everything you need for self catering. The rooms are very nicely furnished. The terrace, with a beautiful view of Ben Nevis and the surrounding mountains, invites you to have breakfast outside or to relax from your excursions. Ideal starting point for excursions in all directions of the Highlands. For this purpose, the host has also provided a beautifully designed folder with information in the lodge and is happy to give tips for excursions. Ideal for families with 2 children. Shopping and dining in Fort William are plentiful. Hiking, cycling or sightseeing is great from here. Tip: You should arrive by car in order to be able to make excursions flexibly. And always drive on the left! (It's all a matter of calm and serenity.) Scotland is a very green, vast, beautiful, historic and active country. With very helpful and loving people who are happy to help. We recommend the Lochaber Lodges to 100%. Love to Malcolm, his family and their staff. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday in Scotland. Quiet Comfortable Accommodations

Cute cottage with the most practical closet configuration for travelers. Everything was clean and in good working order. Ben Nevis range could be seen from the living room. We met both Malcolm and Kieran. They were both lovely and helpful.

Fantastic lodge, fantastic location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the spacious, well layed out lodge. Being out in the countryside, with a view of Ben Nevis, but 20 mins' drive from the many facilities of Fort William was ideal. The owners were very friendly too. Highly recommended. Only glitch was the patchy WiFi, but the mobile signal was good, so we just used our phones.

Brilliant location and excellent facilities

We stayed here for 7 nights as a base for our holiday in western highlands. It’s a convenient location just a few miles out of fort William. Excellent views of the Nevis ranges from the lodge and occasional passing of boats through the Caledonian canal right in the front. The check in process was very smooth and the staff at the lodges was very helpful, special shout out to Malcolm who even helped us by arranging a bed guard for our young twins. I would rate this property excellent and would highly recommend it.

Climbing/Walking Venue

Lovely location for climbing and walking. Comfortable lodge and well-kitted out. Friendly and helpful manager. Shame about the recycling issues (can't be done), but I suspect that this is the case with most holiday homes and it seems to be the fault of those people renting them.

Lovely location with mountain views. Boats sailing passed as you sit on the veranda. Unfortunately for us it mostly rained, but, the views were just as breathtaking.
