Simply put, the place was great. Anything you could need is within walking distance (grocery, pharmacy, restaurants, bank, etc. . ) The place itself is in a quaint neighborhood that is quiet and well taken care of. We were there to drop our daughter off for school, and stayed 3 nights. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, dining room, family room (with large HDTV) and a kitchen. All the rooms are decorated nicely, and were clean and comfortable. The kitchen is ridiculously well appointed. While it’s not terribly large, it has everything you would need to cook just about anything. They even had a salad spinner, which I don’t even have in my home kitchen. There are extra blankets, towels, toiletries, and the like. They even left us coffee and creamer because they knew we were getting in late and wouldn’t have time to stop at a store.
There is a washer and dryer for laundry, and there are a couple of window air conditioning units (although we didn’t need them in late August). The service was fantastic. We had a few things that we needed to put together for our college Freshman, and the owner provided me tools to use!
Normally when I rent a place like this, I just like my own space, so I was a little hesitant when I found out that the owners live right below. It wasn’t an issue at all. We had our own space, it was private, and actually we felt like we were part of the neighborhood for 3 days. My only regret is that I was very busy all weekend and didn’t really get to spend more time there.
The owners were willing to bend over backwards for anything we needed, and they were super friendly. We’ll definitely stay here again.
