I was very upset with the condition of the house, both inside and out. I had called the day of arrival and was supposed to have someone call me back the following day (which was Friday) and never received a phone call until I called back several days later. When we arrived, the outside of the house was not maintained. There were piles of dead leaves around the back of the house that were left from fall, there was a beer can by the fire pit, and the fire pit was not cleaned out. The table under the covered porch was not cleaned off, which looked to have dust and bird droppings over it, while there were several planters that were filled with dead flowers and weeds. All the while the neighbors were running loud equipment. The inside of the house was dusty, especially the chandelier over the dinning room table. There was no house phone to call the line to check in, even though the binder said to use that line. The air conditioner would not turn on. Someone was dispatched that evening and fixed the air conditioner but at first could not even locate the unit and was opening up the locked doors with a knife and screwdriver. He was very friendly and had his work shirt on so it wasn't a safety issue but it made me uncomfortable with the method being practiced to open locked doors. Also, the downstairs bathroom's shower had the nozzle fall off the wall, the main door to the deck would not lock, the guestroom's fan wouldn't turn on, and the other guestroom's window trimming fell off when I was checking to make sure if they were locked. We also found a live chipmunk in the pullout couch in the basement. Although it could have managed to have gotten in at another point of time, it was still interesting to have to figure out a way to get the animal outside. I sent roughly the same description above in an email (requested method of contact), trying to accomplish some sort of resolution. As of today (07/10/2018), still have not heard from them. Terrible business.
