Perfect beach getaway

A lovely house in the perfect location , a few steps away from the beach. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and a small shop for basic food and drinks. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host, David was amazing and provided very detailed instructions on how to find the property. He always answered any messages almost immediately. We requested a late check out as our flight was in the evening and this was no trouble at all. This made a huge difference to our last day. Fantastic! We will be back. Thanks David x

Cottage had absolutely everything you would need. We stayed 5 nights and were very comfortable.

GREAT Getaway

The place was amazing! The property owner David was highly responsive and the two bedroom cottage was very clean and steps away from the beach. We loved every minute of it! Excellent stay, Beautiful beach and easy access

Thee house is just as described and has great access to the beach and parking! Communication was always easy and helpful. Just a short drive from Lisbon this is a vibrant beach with many options for food and drink. Thanks again David and family!

Empfehlenswert!

Nur ein paar Schritte bis zum Strand, das Haus ist schlicht, hat aber alles was man braucht. Restaurants und kleiner Supermarkt um die Ecke. Der Strand und die Landschaft sind ein Traum. Es gibt viele freilaufende Hunde in dem Dorf, die nachts auch schon mal bellen. Ausserdem wird dort noch traditionell gefischt. Es ist interessant den Fischern bei der Arbeit zuzusehen. Für uns war es ein toller und abwechslungsreicher Urlaub. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr nett und zuverlässig. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Het huis was goed. Hele aardige eigenaar en familie! Kregen 2x bij lunch gegrilde visjes. Heel attent en lekker. Goed geregeld waar de auto kon staan . De enige dingen die iets beter konden: tweepersoonsbed een beetje smal en maakte veel lawaai bij omdraaien. En bij de info stond dat er een wasmachine was. Die was er niet . Wel konden we de was door de familie laten doen. Maar dat is minder handig. We hebben hier een fijn verblijf gehad.

Klein aber oho!

Für die eher geringe Größe hervorragend ausgestattetes Ferienhaus, 30 m vom Strand entfernt. Auch aufgrund der super netten Mutter des Vermieters haben wir uns in dem liebevoll eingerichteten Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt - Wäsche waschen und Sardinhas inklusive. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen war für uns, dass man sich v.a. am Wochenende, wenn ganz Lissabon an den Strand fährt, auf der Terrasse etwas beobachtet vorkommt, da ein Strandzugang daran vorbeiführt. Die Kommunikation bei unserer Umbuchung hätte noch etwas proaktiver sein können. Alles in allem aber ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder!

Super beach house

Very nice hosts (thank you also for the Carapauzinhos). We had a great time in the Salty House! So close to the ocean. The neighbours are very nice. You don't necessarily need a car. Bus 127 from Cacilhas takes you directly to Fonte da Telha. A trip with the Transpraia is also great (there are also supermarkets at the terminus). We would love to come back soon!

Really great vacation

We (2 adults, 4 kids) had a great time in this little house which is literally on the beach. David and his parents are really friendly and helpful people. There are nice restaurants and there’a a little shop to buy food ( no bank card accepted!) The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived and there were sheets, towels and fruits waiting for us. We definitively recommend this place and will try to come back one day!

very kind owner and very clean and well stocked house. Literally on the beach. The owner and his parents made us feel welcome whilst not being instrusive. would reccomend to any beach lover . Lots of bars and resteraunts and a small supermarket. great place, we will be back

Ein wunderbarer Ort mit sehr netten Menschen!!!

Besten Dank an David und seine Eltern. Es hat uns im Salty Soul Häuschen sehr gut gefallen. Ein Paar Schritte und man steht an einem langen Sandstrand und kann den Atlantik genießen. Davids Eltern haben uns mit Fisch verwöhnt und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Wer das einfache Leben geniessen möchte und Ruhe mag, ist hier an einem wunderbaren Ort gelandet. Wir können es nur empfehlen!!!

Great place to stay! Quiet and quaint right near the ocean in a great fishing village!

David is an excellent host! We arrived real late at night and there was food and drink available to us. David also made sure to greet us upon arrival even though we got in real late. The salty soul was an awesome experience! Right near the water and in a great village that had a market near by as well as good restaraunts. I would definitely recommend the salty soul to anyone who is looking for a nice little getaway.
