Listen up, folks! This place may have a killer location, but let me tell you, don’t be fooled!
The location of this unit is excellent, as it is conveniently situated near SOHO and within walking distance to all local areas. However, the cleanliness of the apartment is extremely disappointing and almost to the point where it is not worth the money. Unfortunately, we had no other options and were forced to stay in this subpar condition.
Here are some of the issues we encountered:
- The shower curtain was covered in mold.
- The bathroom caddy contained old hairs from someone shaving, as well as long hairs.
- The tea pot was filled with old, rancid milk.
- The towels were extremely stiff and appeared to be several years old, making them unusable for anything other than cleaning floors.
- The drain pad for washed plates had mold and an old rusted blade left behind by the previous tenant.
- The entire apartment was covered in inches of dust film.
- The kitchen counter was disgustingly dirty, with old food remnants, and even the toaster had old debris inside.
We had to place blankets on the side just to have a somewhat clean place to sit.
If this is the standard of what VRBO allows to be rented out to their customers, I will never use their services again. I have photos to prove all of this!
