With our 2 kids we enjoyed our stay so much. Robert and Linda are the kindest hosts and their gite is dreamy with all sorts of comfort.The pool was a big hit! There is enough to do and visit in the area.

Rural but close to amenities

Quiet location in a lovely rural setting. Very close to shops and larger towns. Well equipped gite, lovely shaded garden area and a very welcome pool as the weather was hot. Hosts very helpful but not imposing.

Des hôtes très agréables mais des choses à améliorer

Robert et Linda sont des hôtes charmants, toujours prêts à rendre service. La maison est située dans un environnement champêtre, sans autres bruits que celui des oiseaux. Cependant un certain nombre de points devraient être améliorés : - remplacer le frigidaire principal qui fonctionne mais perd de l’eau qui goutte sur les aliments et dont le bouton de réglage est absent ( on règle à l’aveuglette) ; - augmenter le nombre de couverts et d’ustensiles de cuisine (pas d’égouttoir à salade, pas de saladier de taille normale); - régler le débit de la pomme de douche de la salle de douche de l’étage : l’eau chaude arrive irrégulièrement et en petit filet - nettoyer plus régulièrement la piscine (bord et fond) - changer le canapé du salon qui est très vieux et peu confortable - empêcher les oiseaux de faire leurs nids au-dessus de la porte d’entrée dont le seuil est régulièrement souillé par leurs déjections En remédiant à ces différents points le gîte méritera l’appellation « Gîte de luxe » ce qui n’est pas le cas actuellement.

Leuk verblijf

Huisje is voorzien van alle comfort. Rustig gelegen, je hebt auto nodig om boodschappen te doen. Overdekt zwembad is niet supergroot en nergens diep maar we hebben ons erin zeker geamuseerd. Toffe eigenaars die naast de gite wonen en goede informatie geven over bezienswaardigheden.

Relaxing Holiday

If you want piece and quiet for a holiday, then this is the place to go. You are a short car ride to the nearest village which has a supermarket, bakers and all the essential shops you will need. The village also hosts a vets (should you be travelling with pets). The property itself is very pretty. There is plenty of outdoor space with furniture, bbq and the pool is extremely inviting. Robert and Linda were very helpful with places to visit and answered any questions we had about the area. They were also on hand to give us an endless supply of ice as the weather was exceptionally hot. We all had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Quiet and relaxing spacious house

House located in a very ruarl quiet setting which was perfect from our point of view. Only rural sounds of birds etc. The owners Robert & Linda were very welcoming checking in to see how our day had gone for us. Also, knowledgable of the area e.g. advise on best sites attractions/to visit of which there are many within driving distance of the house. Robert & Linda also allowed us to spend some time with their dogs and as animal lovers this added to the enjoyment of our stay. We had a great holiday, thanks Robert & Linda

Un très bon séjour

Logement ancien situé dans la maison des propriétaires. Robert et Linda sont des personnes charmantes, très attentionnées et très disponibles. Le logement est accompagné d'un barbecue, d'un salon de jardin et d'une piscine chauffée. L'environnement est très calme et est propice au repos. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Endroit idéal pour se ressourcer entre amis!

Séjour très agréable au Vignou! Nous avons apprécié nous détendre au calme au milieu de la campagne et passer de bons moments entre amis! La piscine est vraiment un plus, nous en avons bien profité ! Linda et Robert ont été accueillants et bienveillants tout au long du séjour.

Ein ruhiger und entspannter Aufenthalt

Unser Aufenthalt bei Robert und Linda war klasse. Die beiden sind sehr herzlich und man merkt, dass sie viel Liebe und Zeit in das Objekt gesteckt haben, um ihren Gästen den Urlaub so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und ideal, wenn man entspannen und dem Alltagsstress entfliehen will. Bei der Ausstattung der Zimmer hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervor zu heben sind die bequemen Betten, die einem einen erholsamen Schlaf bieten. Der Pool auf dem Grundstück war immer sauber und man hatte die Möglichkeit ihn jederzeit benutzen. Man konnte sich gut auf Englisch verständigen, deswegen war die Übermittlung sämtlicher Absprachen und Informationen kein Problem. Alles in allem war es ein wirklich toller Urlaub und Aufenthalt, weshalb wir es nur weiter empfehlen können.

Perfect stay

We stayed with Robert and Linda in their lovely gite for a week and have had a perfect time . The gite is next door and they are always available for question , extra wood ,help when needed and the occasional coffee if you wanted . The are very careful not to be in your way, but be helpful. The gite is like any French home and for us that feels so rural and cosy . The big fireplace kept us during the rainy days nice and warm . The gite is well equipped and got everything you might need . We where a party of 6 and there was more than enough space and bedrooms , as well as 2 nice bathrooms and an utility space with extra toilet and shower . The garden is one of the best parts of the house nice and with beautiful view and sunset. BBQ and eat outside just perfect! The pool was even in April nice and warm and our 2 kids as well as us loved it ! Beds are nice and comfy. The area is nice small French towns all around and the bigger castles and towns between 20 min and one hour drive away , on good roads . We loved everything about it and had a nice and most of all relaxing time with our family!

lovely charming accommodation in a quiet part of the Loire Valley

we had a lovely time with Robert Elaine and Gwen it was a well appointed place with gardens and a splendid pool which was always warm and a good level throughout Robert was always on hand if required and was always helpful, my children loved their pet dogs and enjoyed this aspect Although a little out of the way it had a lovely little place Liguel 3 miles away and along with a lovely eatery in nearby Ferrier Lacon about 2 miles both were very nice Chinon and other places are not too far and well worth a visit Overall a lovely stay and would go again

Excellent site à recommander et propriétaires au top

Notre séjour était fantastique avec un cadre agréable et une piscine pour se détendre. Les propriétaires étaient soucieux de notre confort et toujours disponibles pour nous. Nous avons passé trois semaines inoubliables et nous comptons revenir. Un grand merci à Lynda et Robert qui restent dans nos cœurs. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Linda et Robert dans leur belle maison avec une piscine très appréciée en ces temps de canicule. Nous aurions aimé prolonger le séjour pour en profiter d'avantage.

Très bon accueil de Robert et Linda, aux petits soins et toujours présents. La piscine chauffée est top et le feu de cheminée très agréable (et indispensable compte tenu de la température).
